Mystery door is in reference to the last room door, which is already unlock as I understood it.

Theodorick seeing the tentacles whip out and lay into the Spiv, prompts him to quickly move past Syljeon and over Spiv to area C8 where he can get a close view of Spiv dropping down and placing a hand on his chest. The gauntlet glowing once again "It's not your time yet gnome."
Annnnnnd Spiv is dead, because melee attacks on an unconscious creatures count as 2 failed saves. And that first one alone was enough to knock him out. Woof! Guess I roll up something else?

Nah. Spiv is just unconscious. Both attacks were simultaneous so you took 20 hp at one time. I rule 1 more hp in that attack would have outright killed you but you just get knocked out with death saves.

Nezira moves forward (to E6) and points his spear at the creature speaking in an old tongue "Feiknstafir!" as dark tendrils reach up staying on it. Then he thrust forward with his spear.

Bonus Action: Hexblades curse
You gain a bonus to damage rolls against the cursed target. The bonus equals your proficiency bonus.
Any attack roll you make against the cursed target is a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20 on the d20.
If the cursed target dies, you regain hit points equal to your warlock level + your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1 hit point).
When you want a 1 just to get over the suspense, but get a 20... these dice be whimsical.

He awakens gasping sharply for air and looking around widely for answers. "Talk about *coughs* death... from above."He lets out a pained chuckle while getting back to his feet. "Heyheyhey! *cough* *cough* How does this taste?!" Spiv shouts as lunges forward to stab the creature with a Dagger
Just as the group thinks this single choker that has ambushed them might get the upper hand Spiv shakes off the fog in his head. Jumping to his feet he fires off an arrow that passes right through the creature and it falls dead.
The lights in the last room dim for a moment and then flare brighter. Theodorick suddenly stands, healed of his injuries, in fact you each are healed of any injuries you had. You feel stronger and better experienced than you did just a moment ago.
A voice fills the room, cackling with laughter.
"Congratulations! You have cleared level 1. Rest and be strengthened, level 2 awaits!"
A chest appear in the corner and you find a couple days of rations each and fresh water and a skin of wine or ale, whatever you like best. There is also 1000 gp in the chest.
You are each fully healed, spell slots reset and level up to level 2. Post when you are leveled up and ready to descend the stairs to level 2. You can take max HP + Con bonus for the level up.
"This place just keeps getting weirder and weirder."Spiv comments on while looking around. Still, he more than happily finds himself a spot to sit back, relax, and drink his fill of wine. But not before checking over the choker for anything useful to harvest. Maybe even a souvenir? "You guys let me know when you're all good to go."
"Wow that sure was a close one. Hopefully with time as I strengthen my divine connection I will be able to make sure we never come so close to death. I'm ready to proceed whenever you guys are."
Still awaiting word about the purchasing and trading stuff, but in the meantime..
"Eh, if I had to go someway, I couldn't say by the noodly limbs of something so small would be the way for me. But eh, that's just me!"Spiv polishes off his drink, and after bidding the room one last look over, motions for the others to follow him the winding course back to the second level stairs. "Well, fellas. Into the deep right and proper now."And thus with shortbow in hand, the deep gnome leads the way down unless anyone else wished to proceed ahead of him.

With a full stomach and high spirits from the the spirits you rest for several hours. You then move to the stairway and go down to level to. As you descend you find yourself in a room that is 30x50 is size with 3 doors.
As you all come off of the stairs you here a sound of scraping and a wall now covers the hallway where the stairs were. No turning in back. Checking the doors they are all unlocked, no traps.

"Just keeps getting more and more ominous."Spiv chuckles mirthlessly as he digs and flips one of his new coin a few times. In between them doors are checked, a nod given to the others confirming their safety on his way back to the center with the rest, flipping the coin one last time.

After catching it mid-air and giving it a look he says, "My vote is that southern door, there. Screams trouble, if you ask me, which is just what we're here... Though I think this time I'll hang back just a little more, if that's alright with the rest of you." He says as he took out and readied his bow for action. He squints at Theo and says, "Actually... Mind if we swap bows? I see you have the tendency to use your magics anyhow, and I can use a bit more punch going forward, if its alright with you Theo?"

Syljeon is leveled up and I added 250 gold to his inventory.
Nezira takes off his leather armour as shadows envelope him making a makeshift armour taking 250 gold as well he has prepared himself.
