Mouth dropping in surprise, Gnarls thinks to himself "I was expecting the psychopath to do this, not Ront....". Dropping the coins JimJar returned to him, Gnarls whips out his Drow shortswords, and launches a leaping attack at Ront's legs, right hand going for the Orc's achilles, left for his hamstring:
"NO. We will struggle to survive without killing ourselves. Yield."
(Two weapon fighting with light weapons, using a bonus action)
Gnarls reacts quickly to the sudden disturbance in the cave, running up and slicing into just the right places on the Orcs leg, bringing him to the floor with a thud. He cries out in pain “They murdered Ronts family! Killed our young and butchered our fighters” with that, Ronts eyes roll to the back of his head and his eyelids close. He is still breathing but bleeding out quite quickly.
Popping back to his feet in the same motion as his attack, Gnarls cleans his blades and says with an ice cold tone:
"Help him if you choose but I will not. I won't condone attacking defenseless creatures for no reason, much less allies. His volatility will get us all killed."
(Lol. Defenseless? She deflected the strike with her sword)
Tobias quickly makes his way to the next cave having heard some sort of commotion. "What is... ?!" The cleric stops and rushes to the bleeding orc. "What happened here?!" He says to Gnarls who is cleaning blood from his swords.
Medicine check to stabilize 12... I imagine he had at least one death save since it was going to take some time for others in the next cave to get here.
El, hearing the commotion, jumps out of their bed and runs to the adjacent cave. Seeing Ront on the floor and Gnarls' cold indifference they panic a little, unsure of what to do. "Um, what the hell? Nevermind it can wait."They help Tobias with the orc, tearing off pieces of cloth from Ront's tunic to tie around his wounds.
"Eldeth was preparing to rest, as we all were, when the Orc flew into a rage and tried to kill her. I struck quickly, attempting to disable him. I did not mean to mortally wound him but I won't pretend to be sorry that I did. We are more likely to survive without him than with him. Better to rid ourselves of the problem now. I must ask now, however: Eldeth, did the Orc speak true? Did you have a blood debt to pay this man?"
As Tobias and El gather around Ront, a small pool of blood now forming on the floor around him, they both manage to stem the bleeding quite quickly with the rags while keeping his airway clear. Ronts breathing slows slightly after a few minutes and returns to a normal rate. The large Orc now lies unconscious in his own blood.
Eldeth, after calming down a bit says “W-what’s the plan with him now? I don’t know what came over him. He saw my blade, asked me where I was from and then attacked. I don’t know anything about my people attacking his, but it’s been a short while since I’ve been home”

Nodding at Eldeth
"This is as I assumed. If he stays, he must be bound, and he must be in a different cave. I will not lie beside one so honourless, and Eldeth should not fear a 'friend' slaying her in her sleep."
Gnarls pulls out hempen rope from his bag and walks over towards Ront. (Intelligence check: 7)
Cyndral, hearing the commotion both flare up and subside with lightning speed, remains stationed outside of the cave, half-watching the darkness around them while he pulls out his small notebook to jot a few things down, shaking his head before returning it to his pocket.
"I suppose the old man was right about a few things, racial tensions run deeper here in the Underdark. I wonder if this first clash amongst our own will be our last, but somehow, I predict it is far from it."
His words are directed to no one in particular, and seem to vanish into the gloom as softly and quickly as he had let them out. Even the ways of the Drow held some truth, he supposed, as much as he wished he could deny anything his kin had ever taught him.
El stands up blocking Gnarls, their voice steadfast and hard. "He needs to be moved first. We can bind him after but I'm worried moving him will cause his wounds to bleed again." Softening their tone to a more sympathetic one and laying a hand on Gnarls' shoulder El continues, "I understand he was unjustified and rash and that he could have hurt Eldeth, but you have to understand his culture. Orc's have passion in spades but only the older ones have any wisdom to guide it, I doubt that Ront is used to being apart from his people and if they were attacked it makes all the more sense that he would be confused and, though he'd never admit it, scared. I'm glad you were here to stop him before he went too far but for know I think you should leave him to me and Tobias. I can't make any long term decisions regarding the oaf but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it."
Pausing to think about it, Gnarls nods. "I disagree with you, but accept our difference of opinion. I do not want more in-fighting. I will not hesitate should he act out again in such a way. If he cannot be bound, I will sit and watch him so that Eldeth may rest without fear of not waking up."
Gnarls sits down, subdued, back against the wall, facing Ront and begins studying the straw doll he took from one of the Drow and appreciating the craftsmanship of his drow shortswords.
Verim has been silent, he had just taken a deep breath to remark towards Gnarls and JimJar and answer the questions when the commotion is heard. He swiftly picked up his shield and ran into the main area of the tunnels, he remains outside when he realises who is fighting, hearing the commotion Verim looks to find a nearby rock to sit against, a single glowing tear leaves his left eye. He stands up and walks into the cave doorway, leans against the entrance to gauge the situation. Looking in Ronts direction and in a slightly tearful way Verim begins to speak
“Does our escape from death mean nothing? Does the life which walk this earth not demand some respect? We are all alive and breathing, this is due to the actions of the selfless beings which showed that joining together can mean something. I’m disappointed that this has occurred, no race or creed should interfere with who we are as individuals. No mater our faith or where we are from we have all survived an ordinal because of those around us. That is all I have to say, I need my rest, Gnarls I’ll be happy to tell you my story but right now I think we all need some rest, I will take Ronts shifts when the time comes if need be. I bid you all a pleasant sleep, wake me if you need anything and when you want me to take over watch”
Verim walks to the other cave, holds out his hands in prayer for a moment and lies down, using his satchel as a pillow and stops the light on his shield as he tucks it underneath is right arm. Another tear soaks into his blanket, as he remains awake thinking in his head of the events which just occurred.
El nods, appreciating Gnarls' cooperating despite his stance on the matter. Looking at Tobias El makes a gesture indicating a request for help lifting the unconscious Orc, "Should we move him to the large cave? Might be risky but I don't know where else we could bring him."
"There's plenty of room in the small cave if they don't want him to remain here."Tobias picks Ront up by the shoulders and begins to drag the orc to the small cave.
(Technically there is room for everyone in the small cave. There's 15 of us, and there would be 16 squares in the small cave.)
Ooc Verim left the cave he was in took a breather then confronted Ront then went to the Medium sized cave to Sleep sorry I made it confusing. That’s what I meant.
Ront is slowly moved into the smaller cave, watched over by Gnarls and El as the rest. Shishakli and Cyndral continue their watch before Tobias and Sarith start theirs. The rest of the evening passes by uneventfuly, with a few moans and groans from Ront as he sleeps. After 8 hours, everyone begins to wake.
(During this time you’ve all had time to reflect on your predicament and the day you’ve just had. You’ve now all reached level 2)
While thinking about the day, Gnarls looks at the small doll that he’d found on one of the Drow. Before going on his guard shift, Sarith sees it “Where did you get that? The Drow call them Kinfel Dolls. They’re normally given to warriors as good luck charms from loved ones”
Ront groans once more as he wakes up and sees Gnarls and El in the cave with him “What happened? Where’s that dwarf?” He goes to stand up and stumbles as he puts weight onto his wounded leg.

Cyndral, feeling emboldened by the return of his arcane energies, glowers at Ront, offering the Orc a glance at the shadow-stuff whirling between ihs fingers as well as the hilt of his sword. He'd learned long ago that the Drow had only two ways of dealing with insurrection, intimidation or death, and he greatly preferred to try the former to the latter. With his nastiest snarl, an expression not often employed by him and as such perhaps a touch unconvincing, he growls at the larger man.
"Eldeth is fine, unharmed and in a larger cave. And, unlike yourself, rather armed. You will not assault her again, verbally or physically, or I personally shall see to it that your recompence is horrible and agonizing. Listen well, Orc, I do not like to waste my words. Until we return to the surface, we are a team. We work together, we have each other's backs, and any personal quibbles that we have are put aside. She doesn't know what happened to your family, and even if she did, it doesn't matter now. We escape together, or we start cutting out the dangerous elements one at a time. Right now, you're the most dangerous one. Do you understand me?"
OoC: so am I waiting until the next round to move or...?

OoC: Well, she was just kinda chillin when attacked her :)
Demeanor unchanged, Gnarls responds mentally:
"Eldeth was preparing to rest, as we all were, when the Orc flew into a rage and tried to kill her. I struck quickly, attempting to disable him.
