A skinny but tall and muscular man looks at the bridge. Great. First demons by accident, now random voices. I don’t trust this. He looks around at the others. Please tell me you aren’t hearing a demon in your head too. I am Shabaka.
A half-elf turns to both of you, wearing black travelers clothes and a red scarf. "They probably aren't random voices; There has to be some reason it called us all here at the same time. I'm Delmyth. Delmyth Alumalis."
A blue and thin individual, wearing comes into the bridge and looks arround
"I also seemed to have been called by something," he startrs"in my dreams I tend to see a changed form of myself, but I don't feel it is that but guess whatever it is is something more than just a dream" he says speaking alone to himself
looks arround seeing that strange troupe o folks
"And by your looks I guess you have't seen the thing that is me in your dreams either, i hope it's not something scary" he says with a frightened voice
"This is so strange; a little bit fascinating! Can't you help but wonder...?"
A tired looking young man was joined them with a welcoming smile. "If you haven't guess already, I'm Dollus." He gently waves.
"Dreams?" The young man scratches his hair, putting the other hand in the pocket of his simple yet practically looking robes, "I don't remember having any dreams? Just that voice... I didn't think the professor was going to give me the afternoon off!"
He gives everyone a look and smile before turning his attention to the house.
Shabaka shrugs. I don’t like dreams. So, should we go ahead? No matter the answer, Shabaka walks to the red house, and knocks on the door (assuming it has one)
When you open the door, you are greeted by an elderly half-elf butler. "Guests of the young master?", he asks with a sophisticated tone, one eyebrow lifted. "Very well, please follow me."
He leads you back into the main hall, where on a cushioned footstool sits an attentive, yet diminutive, dragon-like creature.
So glad you all could make it! Please, come and sit at the table, we have much to discuss. With that the pseudodragon leaps down from his comfortable stool and hurries his way to a table with six chairs around it, taking the raised seat at the the head of the table.
Lanthar, please prepare some tea, hot, with plenty of cream, for six; we will be talking for some time. The half-elf butler bows deeply and takes his leave.
Shabaka sighs. And... more demons. Great. Excellent. Well,I assume I have no choice. I’ll take some Milk, with Honey, please. He sits in the seat next to the creature. so, mr.Demon-Devil thing, what’s your name? Your actual name, True Name as you will. I am Shabaka.
I still want to know later Mr.Demon, but for now, how about.... Nile? No.... I think...ahh.... can we stick to Mr.Demon? That’s what I’ll call you. Do we all have to give you a nickname?
"Since you dragged me out of my English class to an entirely new DIMENSION, I think I'll call you Pratchett. Seems fitting." Greyson mutters to himself. "Why are we here anyways? Did some plucky adventurer raid your hoard, and you want US to get it back?"
Perhaps you are not so far off from the truth. You see, in this world there are magic artifacts that have fallen into the hands of unsavory individuals. Recovering these artifacts is the reason I have called you five here today.
I am sure you are all asking, "Why me?"; the truth is, you have potential that you as yet are unaware of! And I want to teach you how to unlock that potential.
“Sounds less like toys and more like a potential world-ending type of scenario. I’ve no idea how someone like me can help with that.” Delmyth laughs. “Unless we’re saving the universe with one giant card game. No amount of potential could turn me into a hero, but it sounds interesting enough. I’m in.”
Shakaba stands up. I said milk, with honey. And, don’t mind me, I’m just going to say... you must be a devil. You’re trying to manipulate us. No way Horus and the rest of the great powers could not’ve kept these out if the hands of evil, Mr.Demon! With these words, his eyes start to go red, and you can see what looks like fire in his eyes, but it dies down.
Eyes wide with wonder, mouth agape in awe as he takes his seat. Still processing, he didn't have time to care what preference his tea flavourings. Retaining manners, he thanks Lanthar and turns to the dragon-like creature, who had suddenly been named Pratchett; an sound choice!
Nodding along to what was being told, Dollus raises his hand, "Uh, teaching? How long will this take? I've got to tend to the library every morning..."

Dollus... Varnus... Delmyth... Shabaka... Greyson...
I'm sorry to bother you but this is urgent!
Come to the house on the river, the one with the dragon banner.
Please hurry, the fate of the world may depend on it!
You find yourself at a stone bridge leading to a red-roofed house.
By sheer synchronicity, four other travelers have arrived at the bridge with you.
(You are not Magicians yet. Introduce yourselves to one another before heading inside.)

A short and skinny teenaged human replies "You aren't the only one hearing voices. The name's Greyson."
A half-elf turns to both of you, wearing black travelers clothes and a red scarf. "They probably aren't random voices; There has to be some reason it called us all here at the same time. I'm Delmyth. Delmyth Alumalis."

Dollus doesn't hesitate and gently makes his way through into the house; eyes wide wanting to take everything in.

The pseudodragon laughs. My true name is very hard for humanoids to pronounce, or hear; maybe one of you can give me a nickname to make this easier?
(Please give your pseudodragon patron a nickname.)
(Oh! Yes! Yes!)
I still want to know later Mr.Demon, but for now, how about.... Nile? No.... I think...ahh.... can we stick to Mr.Demon? That’s what I’ll call you. Do we all have to give you a nickname?

Pratchett laughs. Fitting indeed!

The half-elf butler returns; tea is served.
Greyson's hand hurts.
Calm down, Greyson; please, have some tea, I can guarantee you will not be disappointed by it, or what lays in store.
