"Potential, this looks like a fun experiment, do you have the data charts for that?" Varnus says exitedly. "I've always been my own test subject alone, finally I'll get to participate in someone else's experiment" looking at the pseudo "ow, and I'd like some tea please"
Nodding along to what was being told, Dollus raises his hand, "Uh, teaching? How long will this take? I've got to tend to the library every morning..."
It shouldn't take but a few minutes, if you're receptive! Pratchett leaps down from his raised chair onto the ground and beckons you all to follow. Come, I've got things set up for us in a back room, follow me!
Dollus stands up, "Don't have to ask me twice! Although, one thing..." The human turns to the butler, "What's this brew!? It's amazing! Actually..." He makes an apologetic face, "can you make a note? Once we're all done in a few minutes..." Giving the butler a grin, he gingerly strides with his tea.
Nope. Shabaka grabs Greyson by the back of his shirt. I might need your help slaying this demon. Come on, let’s go! Whether he agrees or not, Shabaka goes to the room.
You follow Pratchett, Greyson with some help from Shabaka, into a torch-lit room with a stone circle on the floor circumscribing an engraved pentagon with six circles, one at each corner and one in the center. Pratchett runs to the center of the circle and turns back to look at you. Take your places at the circles around me, and we can begin unleashing what is locked within you!
Each circle has a glyph, depicting the following: a candle, an evergreen, a lightning bolt, a jackal, and a vaguely humanoid shape. Each of you is drawn to one of the circles. The center circle has a glyph matching that of the dragon on the banner outside Pratchett's house.
Shabaka smirks. There you go buddy. He moves to the circles with the humanoid and the jackal. This reminds me of Anubis, but this one represents myself. Greyson, buddy, when we all get around here, say some magic words, and we can trap the demon here! You know how to do that, no? He stands in the circle of the humanoid.
(Ooo, interesting, not the circle I thought Shabaka'd go for, though I suppose it makes sense, and a jackal glyph is an interesting place to put Varanus; it won't affect your transformation, unless you think of a cool way to work that into your roleplay in which case go right ahead!)
(I mean, he’s cool to push Shabaka out, but, let’s be honest, what he is and what he worships are different things when it comes to potential inside of you.)
(Also, even though a Jackal is his symbol, Anubis is depicted as a man with a Jackal head, so.., vaguely humanoid.)
OOC thought I was the humanoid, but honestly noticed some mistakes I was going to fix on the transformation before anything happened with it, I'll fix this mistakes according to whatever circle I'm put in, if the jackal I'll change myself into a druid instead of a fighter (I'm wanting a ranged/support class as I see most are melee/ish, my fighter version was also going to be a bow and arrow shooting battle master)

(OoC: I thought didn’t post Greyson’s response.)

Delmyth walks toward the back room, then turns around, looking at the group.
“What’s the worst that could happen? C’mon.”

"Not much I can do but work hard at collecting everything so I can hopefully leave..." Greyson heads for the door.

Haven’t used this account in forever. Still a big fan of crawling claws.
"URK! LET ME GO YOU NUTJOB!" Greyson shouts, struggling to get free.
Athletics check for escaping Shabaka's "grapple":20
Come on. Don’t you want to rid the world of demons?

with a mighty grab, Shabaka drags Greyson with him.

Excitedly Varanus gets into the circle he feels drawn into "Can't wait to document the results of this" he says taking a pen and paper out
Greyson stands in his circle.
Greyson stands in his circle, waiting for this “magic” to take place, still not believing Pratchett.
