Lankus looks at Mizzula“Aye that be me. A room is 2 silver a night.”He leans back thinking for a moment“No magic shops, but Xendos occasional has a few wares at her ship. Though how much you can trust a fiend is up to you. Now what can I pour you?”His hand picking up a glass and waiting for you to tell him.
Mizzula looks around to see what the common drink was. He'd like to have a nice Elven wine but he's learned that standing out isn't good.
"I'll take a glass of ale and a room for 4 nights please"says the sorcerer as he lays a gold coin on the bar.
Del would see an bald older man wearing some chain mail under a white shirt and a brown vest, with a mace at his hip. On the other side of his belt is what seems to be some type of healer’s bag, with herbs and vials filled with maybe liquid poking out and shoved in holsters. His hands seem like they spend a lot of time in the dirt, and he seems to have spent the night on the beach from the sand he still has on him. He has gray eyes that seem hard, but soften every so often as you talk. He’s also bright blue.
”We don’t know each other, you just seem like you’re gonna need some kinda my help, and I don’t like not being able to help.”
Intently studying the bright blue-skinned man as he makes his claims of being a helper, Del takes in the armour and weapons on the fellow, but also the healers bag and accompanying items. Finally, the younger genasi will look into the man's eyes for several moments, taking note of the grey flecks that seem to bespeak some amount of wisdom, perhaps hard earned. Eventually the relatively plain faced green sea born traveller will nod as though satisfied at the man's honesty and intentions, waving towards the barkeep as he says to his new companion,'
"So what is the most refereshing drink in this place? I don't suppose they serve kelp-strained rainwater here by any chance?"

When Nimb takes his first step into the Wicker Goat, he smirks slightly, knowing this is his element, he first watches the arm wrestling match, he claps when Gom wins, while others may think otherwise, he knows it was well deserved. He steps towards Lankus, ”Can I get a room for... Five nights for now, I heard it was 2 Silver per night, correct?” Nimb speaks in a slight british-sounding accent, he then places 2 gold on the table, ”I’d also like an ale, this should also pay for any extra I order, correct? And would you know where I could play some music here? I'm quite a good flute player”
Sybella beams as she readily accepts the tankerd as the excitement swallowed her whole. She would be getting an earful from the old goat later, but she couldn't turn down a tip!"Hu-ah!!!"She hooted before chugging it."Thank you kind sir,"she grinned as she wiped the corner of her mouth."My name is Sybella. I hope to catch you sometime. I am sure you have amazing stories!"

“Unfortunately no rainwater on tap, but hang on...” Jake pulls a vial filled with an orangish colored liquid out of his bag and hands it to Del. “Try that for refreshing. It’s a mixture I made recently, should brighten you right up.”
As Sybella returns the tankard, Gom inspects the quantity of ale still remaining. His brow furrows in confusion. He looks once more at Sybella, and tries to decide if some sort of trickery has just taken place. A lot of people figure Orcs are stupid and can be duped easily. But he reluctantly concludes the lost liquid was chugged fair and square, though how it could possibly be stored in such a diminutive gut was suspicious.
Gom resumes his seat, his demeanor akin to one whose puppy was just killed. Well, he knew something bad was going to happen. Good things were typically followed by worse things, so if that was the price he had to pay to enjoy this windfall, he was glad it hadn't been even worse.
Gom relaxes and leans back slightly to enjoy his first taste of his prize, reminding himself not to gulp too much in order to make it last.
💥 CRASH! 💥
The chair, when subjected to trying to support Gom's weight on just two legs, collapses in a heap of snapped twigs. The ale spills entirely, soaking his face, hair, and neck. For a moment, Gom's arms and legs flail helplessly as he lies upon the great mass of his backpack, much like an inverted turtle trying to right itself. He finally manages to stand up again. One step forward, two steps back.
"Gom have anger for shoddy structure. Gom demand reparation result from assault and establishment disregard patron lacking safety."
Awaiting the adjudication of his pronouncements, Gom storms over to a corner to fetch an empty but sturdy crate, goes back to his table, and slams this over the debris of his old chair. He sits once again, crossing his arms, very annoyed.
William just stares at Gom and nods raising his glass in the air at the offer of a toast“It was an honor to go against one such as you.”As he sits down he notices the tall woman approach him and his eyebrow raises“Yes, how can I help you miss?”he asks.
As the crash rings out a silence falls as everyone stares at the Orc. Lankus looks up from his conversation with Nimb and Mizzula, he just glares at the Orc“I demand reparations for the chair you just broke being an idiot and thinking it could support the weight of an Orc on just two legs!”he shouts back causing laughter to erupt from the tavern guest, he was about to continue before a tall slender man stands up holding his hand up to Lankus and the crowd calming them all down as they turn to stare at what the man has to say.
“Don’t worry about it Lankus I will cover it, maybe get some thicker chairs in here for when you have guests from out of town.”Lankus looks to the man“As you wish Anders, anything he breaks is on you tonight.”With that Lankus turns his attention back to Mizzula and Nimb. Anders just nods and turns his attention to Gom“Sir, please come join me at my table – I’ll cover your expenses for the night to make up for the incident.”
Mizzula and Nimb:
Lankus looks at him and just nods putting the wine bottle he had pulled out back“My bad took you as more of a wine person.”He says as he begins to pour ale “So what’s your interest in magic shops for? Try to start one or something?”as he places the ale in front of him, Lankus’ hand moves under the barside and pulls a key out and hands it to Mizzula.
Blinking and looking around for a second quickly shouting to the two genasi who are standing in the door, one waving at him, to sit. Lankus then leans over the bar to see Nimb“Well isn’t tonight becoming interesting. Don’t get much of your kind in these parts – in fact think there is only one other.”As he is about to take your coin a loud crash can be heard from behind you, Lankus quickly looks up and begins to shout at one of the patrons for breaking his chair before another patron begins to talk commanding the crowd and calm Lankus down.
Lankus looks back to you and takes your coin“As long as you have coin I have a room and ale.”He just shakes his headas you ask to play“What exactly do you know to play? I already have two bards slated for tonight and I’m paying them a pretty penny.”
Del and Jake:
Del you wave at Lankus he just stares at you for a second and motions to two empty seats at the bar“Jake, if you and your relative are here for business then sit…if not stop waving at me. I’ve got customers to attend to.”As he finishes the sentence a loud crash a can be heard throughout the bar as the orc has apparently just broken a chair.
Sybella brings about two mugs, one for Anders and another for the orc. She mistakenly figures the tall woman to be part of their party, "Oh! My apologies, I didn't know you were with them. What will you be having miss?" The elf smiles sweetly with that apology.

If the idea was to have Gom arm wrestle Selinae to earn Anders' largesse, they needed to discard that notion immediately.

" Oh! Manners! Mum would give me the eye....Um. Sorry.....Good Evening, Mr. Gom. My name is Selinae. I am very pleased to meet you.", she held her hand out awkwardly.
Give the eye? An oblique reference to Gruumsh? She had Gom at an advantage, for he knew not what sort of race she descended from, let alone anything about their deities. In fact, she had multiple advantages, as underscored by the steep angle he had to tilt his head back in order to look up into her face from his lowly perch upon the crate.
Selinae seemed to be offering a handshake as per the Human customary greeting. Somewhat concerned the gesture might carry an alternative purpose or connotation in Goliath culture, Gom nevertheless firmly grips the extended hand and shakes once.
"Gom have pride encounter Chieftain of Saltmarsh name Selinae."

"Why would we put a hog in the doorway? Would it not defacate everywhere and pose something of a trip hazard? What a strange place this is.
The drink was... not unpleasant. We do not have many fruits where I am from, but I have tried the round sunrise balls that mainlanders call orunjees, and this tastes kind of like that, though in truth I would liken it more to the sunwarmed yoke of a miscarried balu-bird's egg. Quite... spicy."
Del will take a seat with Jake, interested in trying more of the foods and beverages of this new and exciting place, and even more interested in learning more of its peoples, creatures, customs and environments.
