"Ah perfect see ive been testing out this new powder to give our troops a little edge, the people on top haven't wanted to let me give it to the regular troops but I figured you look like the kind of guy to want it." He then hands you 2 sacks of a slightly green powder with the same texture as black powder but it smells way worse. "I'd be really careful around fire with that thing though." Or'vill with this it adds a plus a d4 to any firearm you load it into but it increases the chance to misfire by 1.
"Nothing for ya friend, the army funds all me inventions even if they don't use it. this'll be like a taste and if yas like it ill sell sell it to you again." Or'vill you estimate the powder is enough for approximately 20 shots per bag of powder. As the rest of you get ready to leave you are escorted to the edge of the village "just go over to the northeast bout a half days travel and you should come about to where we believe these things to be coming from" Mak says as you set off, you left early enough that you get to an area of small mountains and forest where you can see the remnants of a camp. What would you like to do. (Also ooc stuff Hambergler level Gabriel up and ill message Sarcastic and Smolder's pc has dropped out so ill get a post up for some people to join if your all ok with that, also for the next few days my internet might be out so i may take a little while to respond )

Zogar imprints the maker of these tracks into his mind and begins tracking his quarry: Survival with Imprint Prey: 25 <-- I forgot the +4 to the survival skill check, so that's actually a 19.

Once per short rest as a bonus action, choose one creature you can see within 30 ft. The target is imprinted in your mind until it dies or you use this trait again. Alternatively, you can imprint a creature as your quarry whenever you succeed on a Survival check to track it.
When tracking your quarry, double the result of your Intuition die. When your quarry is within 60 ft., you have a sense of its location: it can’t be hidden from you, gains no benefit from invisibility, and your attacks against it ignore half cover.
SO after Vaunea Tells the black smith he just wants his axe to be better but still look the same he will pay for the cost. Then will follow along with the party
Or’vill speaks up “whatever the creatures, they are heading this way right? Let’s continue on to them then.” As he continues to follow the tracks into the forest.
Vaunea he tells you it will cost about 50 gold and he can add a grip to give you a plus one to your attack bonus. Zogar you see the tracks of about 3 humans leading towards the mountains

Vaunea you cannot yet afford it but you make sure to remember the blacksmiths shop. If everyone is ok with it you all begin to follow the tracks into the woods towards the mountain, after about an hour of travel you hear a the sounds of something moving around the forest to your left as you see a half elf looking dreary and tired walks through the forest towards you guys.
