Reporting back to Thomas triggers a new plan. "We need to bring this directly to the heads of this parley! The attempted assassins are in the embassy building, as we speak, and could be confronted directly, if we act quickly!"He goes and tries to talk to the leaders of the groups (except the PPA, of course) presenting his evidence and tracking of the monks. "If you prefer, we can do more than just be guards, but what would you like to do at this point?" he asks them, after reporting.
Go back and reread my post. I was editing it while you posted this.
"So, do I raise the monk?" Sarah asks. "Not sure what she might tell us. We could send her after them as an option. It can go through walls and can make attacks from within a wall. That could backfire, hard, though."
OOC - I edited to include the rolls. I'll revise it, when you respond.

“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar

OOC - Level 11 Rogues?!? Crapola. It's a shame that familiars NEVER progress. Let me know the actual net result and I'll edit/.
Funnily enough you hid from each other so nothing happened. I'm heading out for some family time. Back later today.

"Looks like we need to move. Let's get this poor bastard ready to speak- if he's willing. Take the monk's corpse as evidence, too." Sarah says and looks at the man in misery from the burns. "Your suffering doesn't have to be futile. They way they have treated you and your service is abominable. You can show the PPA there are consequences for treating you as disposable."
No offense, but can someone please answer my question?
this is my first D&D game played in DND Beyond Forms, so I don’t exactly know what to do, but I saw you were recruiting, so I decided to ask.
Pm LesRankins for more information regarding the campaign. Basically, this campaign is set in the Emberverse universe, where technology has ceased to function. No electricity. No steam. This means that humankind has been set back 500 years. Campaign:
- All Races, Classes & Feats
- Unlimited spell slots. However, only some spells are allowed and longer casting time.
Blaize calls Blinky back and have the owl perch on his shoulders.
Fire bolt- Shoot a streaking ball of fire towards a foe and deal a measly 1d10 fire damage. Use eldritch blast instead.
Fireball - Drawing magic from your inner reserves, you unleash a devastating nuke that explodes in a circle, hitting multiple enemies, and burning them to a crisp with a godly amount of 8d6 fire damage. Make your DM’s fights look like garbage. It’s also a nice way of TPK your entire party and have them triggered at you for the rest of the week.

Your prisoner is very unhappy with what happened to him and you think he might be willing to talk.
When you get to the meeting and bring him in to the conference room Lady Sandra is there and with her is a tall woman in her mid 30s with 3 children, a boy and two girls. When they see him they rush over and have to be restrained from touching him because of his burns. Some tears are shed but before it goes on too long Lady Sandra calls them back to her side and a couple of her guards escort them from the chamber. In case you haven't worked it out it's his wife and children.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

That was useless because I just realised I can’t be surprised.
Blaize stifles a yawn and lifts one of his eyebrow at the stranger who was sneaking up on them. The stranger materialises out of thin air, catching his companions unaware at what they were doing. “It looks like we have company. Stranger, are you for the PPA or against them?”

I have the Alert Feat. No surprise when I am conscious.

Could I join the campaign?
I have been playing 5e for a few years now, have experience as both a player and dm, and am always willing to play.

OOC: Hmm, nice implicit threat there from Lady Sandra. Daring rescue ahead so the burnt dude can speak freely?

I try to sneak up on the party. "Hello everyone," a voice says.
A man comes out of the shadows. he is 5" 7 and has spiky blonde hair. He looks young, like he is a very young adult.
"My name is Zachary, and I wish to join you."
I start to play my flute, determined to impress them.
