Seeing the people pop out form seemingly nowhere, she swiftly removes the bead from her pocket and darkness engulfs her. Taking aim at one of the attacker on George, she looses her arrow. "Guide my arrow true," Sarah murmurs.

Seeing the bolt come from the bushes she swiftly removes the bead from her pocket and darkness engulfs her. Taking aim at the bushes at roughly the right height for someone shooting from them she looses her arrow. "Guide my arrow true," Sarah murmurs.

You probably didn't see the bolt miss the raven having more immediate problems like 'ninjas' appearing out of nowhere. But you can easily shoot at them. Even Aleister won't know about it until the ravens come down and tell him.
OCC Ravens are at 300 m.; pretty far for a bolt, yes?
The bolt missed. 300m = 330 yards = 990 feet so when they see something it's 10 rounds (at least) before they can return to you. A hell of a lot of things can happen in 10 rounds. SO this fight will be over 3 times before they report back what they saw.

They aren't close enough together to get the extra shot
Do you realise how screwed you would have been if there wasn't a concentration rule for spells. Even with no combat spells a highish level wizard can do horrible things but because of the concentration rule mostly only one at a time.
"Don't let that one get away!" Aleister yells as he sprints after the badly wounded ninja. "Take him alive!" If he catches up with him, Aleister will knock his leg out from under him and try to subdue the foul bushwacker.
OCC Not sure what is required for subduing, but I pretty sure a d20 is involved so....
