Road to Phandalin

"This just keeps getting more and more complicated." Nobody mutters darkly under his breathe. "F-fine. But be ready. Yanda's caught wind of some trouble coming from the other room." He then looses another shot at the Bugbear with the hammer before retreating back into the hall leading into Crypt room.

Through a thought, he sends Yanda on his way to Moss to alert and try to guiding her into the hideout. Later, perhaps, he could question him on the worrisome danger. But for now at least, he had go in blind.

Action: Light Crossbow - To Hit: 8 For: 9 non-magical piercing damage to Bugbear(2). 

Crying out in glee as the bugbear crashes to the floor in front of him, Zurzg drops his shield and bounds towards the Redbrand in the doorway, slashing at another stomach.

Attack: 11

Damage: 7

Kai looks around for a minute before she attempts to throw another sacred flame at the bugbear, inching her way closer to the others to heal them when she get the chance. (Next round for whoever needs it) 

Sacred flame dex save 13 or take damage: 2

The Redbrand(4) drops his bow when he sees Zurzg approaching and draws his longsword just in time to parry Zurzgs slash.

He tries to counter with a slash of his own

Attack: 17 Damage: 7(halved: 4)

Zurzg nimbly dodges the attack.

The Bugbear (9) gets hit by Kais blue flame but ignores the pain and tries to finish off Margret

Attack: 17 Damage: 8

who collapses under the onslaughter. 

Margret says "No!" Trying to block the blow from the bugbear but sees nothing but stars as she falls to the ground

Ree’lyn and Maltake both attack the Bugbear simultaneously

Attack: 24 Damage: 8 Eldritch Blast

Attack: 7 Damage: 9 quaterstaff

Attack: 24 Damage: 7 unarmed attack

Now it is the Bugbear who wavers, but he doesn’t fall.

Next Round

Although it pained him to do so,  Nobody sends Yandar off to keep the bugbear distracted for whenever Margret chose strike it; unfortunately unaware of any change in her status... beside maybe the heavy thump of an armored body.  In which case, Yandar would hold out for the right moment of another, but stay hovering near the creature. 

Nobody,  in the interim, steps out into the Crypt hallway, intent to ready a shot for any redbrand peeking a head past the doorway. If one is already visibility however, he lets out a "Have at thee!" and fires off a shot, then backs away into the corner. 

Action: Light Crossbow - To Hit: 9 For: 7 non-magical piercing damage to Redbrand(7). 

Dodging the attack, Zurzg draws his shortsword alongside his scimitar, and slashes at an arm while stabbing at the mans midriff.

Damage 1: 8

Damage 2: 5

Zurzgs onslaughter is to much for the Redbrand who collapses under the overwhelming furry of the Goblin.

After Margret , the Bugbear focused his attention on Maltake

Attack: 19 Damage: 15

Maltake is distracted for a moment  by Nobodys shout, the Bugbear seizes the moment and lands a nasty blow to the monks head.

You can hear him howling in triumph as his target falls to the ground. 

Nobody, you see two more Redbrands and the Halforc rushing past your target and surrounding you. The halforc still looks beaten from your encounter a few moments ago.

Kai rushes over to Margaret, muttering repeatedly. "OH gosh. Sorry. I got you."

She places her hands on Margaret and they glow with divine light. 

Cure wounds: 9

She then looks to Malatake. "Don't you be dying either Mr."

A divine light washes over Mal.

Healing word: 9

(9 hp original if the dice roller decides to spaz)

Kai then moves to do a smack on the Bugbear attacking Mal and the downed Margaret, prepared to heal her next turn.

Kai does a slash thwap with her handaxe:

Yandar continues to play the part of fly in the bugbear's pea soup as much as it can for a hopefully coming around Margret. As for Nobody, rather than balk at the veritable army now before himself, he whips out a dagger and lets out a sharp note in Abyssal before trying to stab at the Half-Orc. Whereupon being wounded, black flames burst out and snake around to scorch a nearby Redbrand for good measure. "W-well c-come on then! This demon won't slay itself ya-ya know!" He challenges them.

 Action: Nobody Casts Black Flame Blade.
(Everybody) - To Hit: 26 For: 9 non-magical piercing damage to Half-Orc, and 3 points of fire damage to a surrounding Redbrand. 

Future Reaction: If Nobody would be hit by a 18 to 22, casting Barrier to raise his AC to 23.

Kai tries to smack the goblinoid, but the bugbear can avoid her axe.

Another Redbrand dashes towards Nobody, who is now faceing three foes.

And another two ruffians close in on Zurzg, one of them attacks the goblin with two strikes

Attack: 23 Damage: 7 (4 halfed )

Attack: 6 Damage: 6

The second one can not reach Zurzg and tries to throw his dagger past his companion

Attack: 17 Damage: 6

Maltake gets up again still feeling dissy.

Ree‘lyn climbs even higher on the stairs to get a clear shot at the bugbear. Shadows engulf the bugbear ( hex) before Ree‘lyn releases his eldritch blast

After catching his breath Maltake circles around the pool, steping over Margrets unconcious form to flank the Bugbear together with Kai. He tries to strike it with his staff followed up by a kick.

Panic, anger and fear mix in the Bugbears expression as he dodges Maltakes attacks. He then tries to strike Kai before she can heal anyone else.

Two of the ruffians next to Nobody attack him at the same time

Seeing Nobody blocking the door and holding off three attackers, the Halforc returns to the crypt for a moment, to reapear with a javelin in his hand.

IC: Margret comes too, ringing in her head hearing the sound and stench of the bugbear nearby hoping he doesn't notice she is still alive she stands up and attacks the bugbear with her greatsword

A few come close and even tear into his robes from whenever he was forced to throw up an arm in defense. None pierce the draconic scales covering it. 'Yandar! Now!' He commands as he readied the blade. As soon as Yandar few into the face of the Redbrand before him(8) to keep him distracted, Nobody tries to plunge dagger again in the man's side. And once more, black flames burst out and snake around to scorch a nearby Redbrand with deadly intent. "
