At the Stables in a room above rented form the Stone Hill Inn Margret wakes only to fluff her pillow then falls back asleep Dreaming of being on the trail as caravan leader even though she was just a guard then her dreams turned into a strange nightmare of a time in her first fight a lanky goblin was getting the better of the people whom were part of they're party. She aimed her bow but miscalculated and the goblin knocked the bow out of her hand. then a monk a woman Margret traveled with jumped high into the air landing blow after blow killing the lanky goblin before Margret could get her sword unsheaved
awakened again she exhales knowing it was just a dream she was grateful to sleep in a bed for once instead of on bedroll in a tent. looking to see what time it might be by seeing if it was dawn she shakes her head and rolls over remembering that she'll have to find new work for the caravan escort from Triboar ended in Phandalin she earned her pay and time for relaxation. And some sleep.
One by one you all fall asleep after a long and dangerous day.
Nobody, you sleep long into the next morning before you are woken up by a discussion in one of the stalls. You notice two horses tied up next to the wagon and you realize that you hear Leona and a male voice talking. You can make out the man talking something about duty and responsibility and that Leona is needed back in Neverwinter. It looks like Leona is agreeing with the man but she seams a bit frustrated at the same time. You hear her walk through the straw of the stable and you see her loading provisions into the saddlebag of one of the two new horses. She notice you and approaches: “Good morning, i am glad you woke before i am gone. It looks like i am needed back in Neverwinter. A Lord from Baldurs Gate refuses to deal with my Major-dono or my Son and unfortunately he is to important and to powerful to just ignore him. So i must take my leave here. I thank you for your help yesterday and maybe one day fate will cross our paths again. I don’t want to wake the others just yet, they deserve a rest after yesterday. Sildar is already up, he went to the common room to talk with Master Stonehill. “ You both notice the messenger getting on his horse impatiently waiting for Leona who gives him an annoyed look before she continues: “Master Sildar is actually an emissary or agent of the Lords’ Alliance, he gave me a letter of recommendation and compensation so you don’t need to worry about my share of the reward. I wish i could say goodby to all of you but i doubt that he” ,and she points over her shoulder to the rider, “ would survive such a long delay. Be carefull out there and please pass on my thanks to everyone else. Farewell Nobody and may the goods bless you.” With this she gets up and mounts her horse. She waves you a last goodby and rides out of the stable.
In the back of the stables, towards the rest of the inn is an open door and you can notice the smell of fresh bread and beacon coming from that direction. If you enter through that door, you see a long corridor leading to your left into the inn and another open door to your right leading to a backyard. There is a staircase on each side of the corridor and three more closed doors. At the end of the corridor you turn right and a large common room opens up in front of you. You can see Sildar and Mr Stonehill sitting at large table in front of a window enjoying what looks and smells like a delicious breakfast. Beside those two the room seams to be empty at the moment.
Kai would be the next to wake, as tired as she is, out of habit. Once she is awake, she will use some of the water to again wash her face and hands of any dirt or sweat from their sleep before staying in the stall, retrieving a notebook from her bag and doing a few sketches and notes, awaiting Zurzg's awakening. She also doesnt mind studying Zurzg occasionally as she draws and makes notes.

Margret wakes early with the sun on her face. She gets up out of habit and dresses even though she wanted to sleep in. She knew that she wouldn't be able to go back to bed. "Old habits die hard" she mumbles "I guess I should find People to help Linene least its something to do" Gathering her gear she then opens the door smelling the fresh baked bread she smiles "That's more like it." checks her coin purse then heads to the common room.
She wonders what Linene Graywind Has in store for her
But while she eats if she can she'll sit near someone so she can listen to see if they may be someone that Linene and herself would be looking for
Moss will wake not long after Leona leaves. She picks up her things and heads inside. Covered in dirt and now with bits of hay sticking to parts of her slightly mouldy and actual moss covered clothing and pack, the Firbolg hunches over as she enters the building. Accustomed to not being able to fit properly in places. She finds her way to the common room. And sets her pack down on the ground at a table before ordering some breakfast. "I like egg scrambles, with all the things in, but I can just have whatever breakfast you offer. Two plates of it, please. And a tankard of milk, please."
Margret tries not to stare with wide eyes she's never seen a Giant before course she thought they would be bigger than that. She shrugs and says to Moss "Good morning." She then motions to whomever is doing the serving
To the server she asks "How much would it cost me to buy breakfast for the next several people who comes in? They'll have to be the adventuring type"
She thinks that it might be a good way to get together a group
Opening the door that leads to the kitchen, a six feet tall, short white haired Drow comes out with a smirk while hovering one of his left hand over his right arm cleaning it up of a very small splat of sauce, then proceeding with removing his apron. His exquisite reddish lilac eyes look around as if waiting to see someone. Until he finally does.
"Mister Stonehill! There you are. I would like to thank you for allowing me to try out your kitchen. I should say I might offer you a few suggestions on cooking tools that would help greatly with preparing the meals for your guests." - firstly causing impressions on what may sound like arrogant words, there is none of that in his voice tune. He aims to be charming even as he says how bad things are. "Of course I can help you with that as well, alongside the other items I can have delivered to you. The contract is ready for you to sign in with the proposal of ingredients to be brought to you and the periodicity of the delivery. So, as for today's menu, the pie and the stew are ready. Here, take these. O want to give you the recipes to make them again and have it in your menu from now on. I am sure it is going to be a success with the ingredients I am going to bring to you."
Extending one of his hands, Ree'lyn has a rolled up parchment which he hands to Master Stonehill as he weighs in the man's reactions. It is important to take every opportunity in the proper time. - "Care to clarify what brothers you? You seemed uneasy when we spoke past night."
Zurzg comes to with a start, and sits up suddenly. At least he would have, but the chain around his neck snaps taut, having become twisted during the goblin’s restless sleep. Hissing as he untangles himself from the metal chain, he notices Kai, awake and watching him. He frowns at her as he picks at large glob of earwax, unashamedly putting a clawed finger in his mouth immediately after.
"Yes I am The name is Margret" she extends her hand in the so familiar human gesture of a hand shake
ooc:description of a Firbolg handshake please, will be epic:
IC: Her fox bat watches with large eyes from her shoulder partially covered by Margrets shoulder length blond hair
As Margret gets straight to the point
"Um, I hate to bother you but I need adventurers to join me on a job I'm not sure what it is yet but a lady that owns a place in town told me she needed help and is willing to pay well."
Nobody, who had at first awoken confused and terrified at a wrongness on his left side of his body, could scarcely sort out Leono's message at first. As she turned to leave however, he appears to snap out of the funk long enough to get out a "Ah-wa-uh, goodbye?"before she rides out. Slowly the hand lowered extended after her, and with it, the realization on what just happens finally sinks in.
".. Goodbye, Lady Leona. And may Oghma bless you in turn." He says softly, watching as the dust settles down. As others awaken one after the other, Nobody greets those that step out with a wave, but stays seated by the cart, going back over everything one more time in his head. Eventually, the strange itch briefly returns, and in seeking to relieve himself, the more clawed and black-scaled appendage that replaced his old arm. "When it rains.." He mutters as tore and turned a spare top into a makeshift cover for the entirety of arm and hand, mummifying it.
Some mussing with his hair later to cover up the odd feeling side of his face, Nobody knocks on Kai and Zurzg's stall first. "Hey. Morning you two." He grimaces at the new huskiness to his voice, but presses on. "I got some interesting news a while earlier. For everyone. I'll explain once we're all inside." Nobody starts to turn, then looks back to Zurzg. "Huh... Would have thought you might have slipped out of those by now."He glances back to Kai. "I do not know about you, Miss Kai, but perhaps we can do without the chains for now?" He asks, but only lingers long enough for a quick answer before setting off for inside the Inn.
As the inn suddenly burst into life Ree'lyn does not leave Stonehill's side while watching one by one of the people that make their way into the common room. An oversized female whose race his mind was in a rush to remember, calmly walking in and careless about the hay that lingers here and there and...what are those brown spots? A solitary well presented female human. 'Adventurers' she said? Is she some kind of agent? That hair and skin may take a few coins to keep. What was that entering afterwards? His eyes narrow. His mouth briefly twists in disgust. He quickly recomposes himself waiting for Stonehill's reply to his initial inquiring while adding: "So that was what the noises at night were about? New guests. It seems like you can have a try for my delicacies with them."
Kai nods to Nobody's suggestion before going back to studying Zurzg momentarily. After a few seconds, she closes her notebook and puts it away into her bag. "It's time for breakfast. I was waiting for you to wake from your slumber so that we may enter the inn together. If you'd like, I may have a scarf or a piece of cloth for you to use to... how do I put this... blend in better in the inn? At least until a better method is provided." Kai digs into her bag to produce the silken cloth as well as the extra clothes in her pack, naturally colored similar to her dirtied short dress she is currently wearing but much simpler as a shirt and pants. "They're definantly going to be big on you. But the scarf is tyable."
Kai then moves to dig into her pouch, retrieving the key from deep within. "In another thought, You have yet to kill me. So I take that as some form of trust? Or at least mutual benefit? How about we get those off? And you can stay by me until the others trust you more?" Kai will then lean forward and unlock the chain around Zurzg's neck (and any other there may be), tucking the freed chains into her pack with her other stuff. Once that is done, she will stand, dust the hay off of her body and clothes, wait for Zurzg to be ready to leave the stall, and head into the Inn common room with Zurzg, keeping him closer to her for both protection and visibility in case he decides to try to escape. "Let us go get food with the others."
Once in the inn, she will sit either at the table with Moss or at a table directly adjacent to it, having Zurzg sit beside her. Surveying the others, she will note the other faces, the human and the... elf... maybe... grayer skin... with a friendly smile as she looks to whoever is taking the food requests. "Hmmm... Tea and porridge if that is possible. What would you like Zurzg?"

As if his last sight of a demonic scum had not been enough, now Ree'lyn is yet again invaded by the feeling this town is growing fast into having a handful of members of various races together. - "A cosmopolitan town? That is new." - noticing the look of the female Water Genasi he wonders what is she staring at. His glamorous short hair, his ebony skinned well built body is his exquisite reddish lilac eyes? Water Genasi are not known as slavers, as far as he knows. That used to be a Fire Genasi trait. Was she... changed by the surface world? He doesn't state, though. What makes she think she can hide that Goblin identity with such a pitiful garment? - "Is slavery allowed here, Mister Stonehill?"
Mal wakes up but pretends to still be sleeping. He's surprised that his body isn't as sore as he expected. He can hear his companions come and go. He can smell the aroma of food coming from the inn. After a few minutes, he decides to get up. He tries as much as possible to straighten out the wrinkles in his clothes but gives up after awhile. He brushes away any hay still sticking on him or poking out of his clothes.
Looks like they're beginning to serve breakfast. - he says to no one in particular.
Mal enters the Inn and scans the Common room for his companions and joins them at their table. He looks around to see any of the Inn's staff to order breakfast.
Mal is surprised of the mix of patrons in the Inn this early in the morning. He is especially wary of the Drow which he sees in the room.
He thinks to himself - Hmmm. Since no one seems to be attacking the Drow does that mean this sort of thing is normal in this part of the Sword Coast. Mal rubs his eyes.
First we spared a goblin and now a Drow. I guess its not too early for alcohol this morning. I think I'm going to need it.
The goblin tenses as Kai releases him from his restraints. Suppressing his 'fight or flight' instincts, Zurzg reluctantly puts on the clothing from both Kai and Mal, and follows them into the inn, bundled up in several layers of clothing which make him nearly as wide as he is short. He frowns as Mal makes his opinion of the goblin known, and looks up at the human. "Zurzg not happy with recent events either, but Zurzg can be helpful and likes to stay alive."
Keeping his head down, covered by the silk scarf and hood, he sits at the table next to Kai as directed. When asked about food, he replies quietly, "Zurzg like meat..." Despite trying to keep a low profile, curiosity gets the better of the goblin, and he starts fiddling with a salt shaker on the table, pouring out small amounts, and loosening/tightening the lid repeatedly. Eventually he drops the shaker, which spills salt onto the table and rolls onto the floor, making a clattering noise.
Kai will look at Zurzg with amusement before retrieving the salt shaker from the floor and placing it back on the table. She will then look back to the waiter/person in charge of orders and smile. "And some breakfast meat for my friend here." She will then help adjust Mal's coat on Zurzg before moving to look through her bag for something to give the goblin for amusement. Settling on an old amulet, she will pull it out of her bag and give it to him. "Here. Amuse yourself with this. I don't use it much anymore. It's from my old church."
Ever since the word 'Drow' left Mal's lips, Nobody had stared off in the elf's direction, more intrigued than anything else. "Huh... Fascinating. Very Fascinating." He mumbles, then with a curt headshake turns back to the others. In one snap of a still more human hand, the salt disappears. In another, a spectral copy of a clawed talon appears by the salt shaker, and would lift it up back on the table.
All of it was an afterthought as Nobody worked up the nerve to speak. Until finally he mostly just blurts out, "Lady Leona returned to Neverwinter earlier. Said there was business to attend to involving her family, and a rather powerful individual back at the city. Not alone, yet the road back should be safe enough for now, missing goblins or not."He sighs and starts to scratch at the makeshift bandages, only to catch himself with a growl. "... O-oh. Uhm, hello. I did not quite see you there Miss."He says, finally noticing Margret. "But I do apologize, and hope you can forgive the lapse of decorum. And, uh, I see you and Miss Moss here are already acquainted?" He gives them both questioning looks.

"How... interesting." the Drow muses.
Not alone, yet the road back should be safe enough for now, missing goblins or not." He sighs and starts to scratch at the makeshift bandages, only to catch himself with a growl. "... O-oh. Uhm, hello. I did not quite see you there Miss." He says, finally noticing Margret. "But I do apologize, and hope you can forgive the lapse of decorum. And, uh, I see you and Miss Moss here are already acquainted?" He gives them both questioning looks.
