Zephyr is proficient in Survival, but he's looking really beat down from the insect bites earlier. He'll propose a long rest before trying to navigate anywhere, if everyone relies on him he doesn't want to risk getting the whole group lost.
Arwin has no proficiency in any of those skills. All I can do is provide with with the light cantrip. I'll make a post IC and hopefully that affects us positively in some way?
Landrae doesn't have nature or survival either... though I have 60ft darkvision and the Jack-of-all-trades semi-proficiency, it is only a modifier rather than counting towards proficiency. If we can just let our wisest character lead the way and cross our fingers. I think Zephyr would be our best bet but Landrae would rather take the lead and be moving than trying to sleep so close to the site we've just left, knowing the spiders roam the area.
As for light, only 2 people don't have darkvision, but one of those is Zephyr, so I'd say of Zephyr makes the roll, we probably want him to have light. If Valie or I make it, then not.
I am game with that if our illustrious DM is. Though I think the roll would just be flat, rather than advantage or disadvantage if I read the spoiler right... Happy to be wrong though.
Assistance gives Advantage. If a creature has at least one instance of both Disadvantage and Advantage, they negate each other becoming a straight roll. If a creature has more than one of each instance, they do not stack and instead follow the previous clause.

There’s dozens of fae, daemonic, and fiendish creatures which either project light, can create light, or indirectly generate light through some shape or form. Any number of them could be found in this environment and range from small pixies to towering creatures of destruction.

Has it been over 8 hours? I had cast mage armor after that first spider hit me. Just wanted to know if I need to recast it.
It’s been about 9 hours so far. 3 to get to the ruins, 4-5 running around aimlessly on the way back, another hour or so from combat and exploring the ruin.

How about this - Landrae makes the roll at the higher DC, and Zephyr assists for advantage?
