Fae would look back to the others and hold up two fingers to signal she hears at least two voices.
She’d peer back in, sticking more of her head in the doorway in hopes her eyes would adjust to the rooms light better.
Come on Dwarven Darkvision...
(Can she see more? She’s looking for anywhere to take cover or hide behind to sneak everyone further into the room.)
She can't look into it. It's like a chimney or a chute. She'd have to climb up it to see anything.
(Ohhhh my mistake lol assumed it was a room.)
Fae would whisper then, “It’s a tight squeeze. Do we want to climb or take the other route?” She’d look up the shoot, then down at her hips, poking at them. Measuring whether her hearty Dwarven figure would fit the shoot.
"We don't know how close those voices are to the opening, it could get bad if they spot one of us before we make it to the top." Rigg suggests, not wanting to make his older body climb much anyways, "Let's take the other path for now and see where it takes us, I doubt they hauled a whole dwarf up there anyways."
"I'm start'n to realize why these little bastards got caught in the first place."Enkindle says dryly, entertaining -- if only for a moment -- kicking one of them. She doesn't, but instead works on at least unbinding their necks from further confinement while others checked out some sort of natural refuse shute. If any give her guff over messing with their bindings further, she either growls back a warning until they heeled or expend the last of her rations to keep them at least placated.
"Not to mention no one wants to be look'n at other people asses as they climb up."She stage whispers back to the others. Hard to tell if she meant something by her words this time or not. But once the wolves were taken care of, Enkindle dusts off her hands, gives a short prayer "O' lord. Thank you for boons. May you yet continue to deem us worthy of your counsel in this shit hole of a den. Praise be to the Guardian of Guardian.", and then takes up the lead once more along the river path.
She will TRY to be quiet going forward. Key word being try...
(@Frost - Just so its clear, the spell she cast was on her self this time.)

It’s been a few times now Fae has witnessed Enkindle addressing their God(s). She really starts to ponder to herself about faith and prayer. You’re supposed to be devoted to your faith and light. Right? You are supposed to be a paladin after all... why’s is it so hard to believe in faith? Should I actually try praying again?Faewould let out a sigh, mostly to herself. She’d shake her head as if trying to shake the internal turmoil out of her head. She’d refocus and take her place following behind Enkindle once more.
The main passage from the cave mouth climbs steeply upward, the stream plunging and splashing down its west side. In the shadows, a side passage leads west across the other side of the stream. This passage is choked with rubble and has steep escarpments, making for difficult terrain.
Further down the main cave:
The stream passage continues up beyond another set of uneven steps ahead, bending eastward as it goes. A waterfall sounds out from a larger cavern somewhere ahead of you. A rickety bridge spans the passage, connecting two tunnels that are 20 feet above the stream.
Oh, wait, sorry, forgot everyone had disadvantage on perception since the dim light. Everyone roll perception with disadvantage. Orileo, you just have to roll perception one more time. Oh, and Tyloniax, you don't have to roll since, you know, Rigg doesn't have darkvision.
Inxori is the first to, then Enkindle, then Fae, and of course not Rigg, see the goblin crouched on top the bridge; he was holding a javelin in one arm and wore a helmet that covered his nose but revealed much of the rest of his face. Beside the goblin was a barrel full of javelins, though the adventurers could not see the barrel. It was on second floor of the cave, beside the bridge. The three brave adventurers see next the goblin see them, shout, "INTRUDERS!" and bring back his javelin to throw.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Fae’s Initiative: 10
(How far would we be from these goblins? And do they have any more light closer to them or do they just hang out in complete darkness the whole cave? lol)

About 15 feet. Only one goblin. From what you have seen so far, the cave was been completely dark. But they also have darkvision, so it's not completely dark for them.
Fae would ready her feet in anticipation “Lemme at ‘em!” She’d grumble hearing the goblin shout, holding her handaxe in an aiming position for the goblins face.
(Obviously waiting for initiative rolls, but if she happens to be first, she’s prepared and at the ready! She was denied the chance last time, so she’s a little antsy lol

IC: "Let us press onward down the other route then?"

edited thanks bacon
OOC: I think they just have one human. Gundren was transported to the King. His companion was brought here. We learned that in the interrogation.
edit: Also, Gundren is a dwarf.

You see two things simultaneously for this one.
On the left of the main cave:
Further down the main cave:
13
Everyone roll perception.
Enkindle's Burning Eyes of Justice!: 14.

Perception: 5
How thematically accurate.
Rigg bumps his head on a stray stalactite. Rigg takes one damage.
Fae’s Perception: 13
just an unstable unicorn.
Inxori, perception, disadvantage: 25 19
