I March the prisoner up towards the gallows helping to position him for the rope. As refuse is being tossed at Ilvisar I mutter under my breath “You better be worth this.” as something is throw ‘near’ me I act as though it hit me and lunge to the side shoving the condemned off the gallows and forward toward the crowd. I then draw my short swords yelling out at the crowd. “Get back all of you! We’re trying to hang a man here!” And I jump down by Ilvisar as if keeping the crowd away from him.
(@DM would I happen to have the keys to the manacles?)
(OOC: So I have been trying not to read other peoples spoilers.. and I am not sure what my character *Stone* would do lol! I mean... A prisoner is escaping? maybe? and essentially being an chaotic evil member of the watch... I don't know if I would stand by and let it happen, or just try to kill the guy since he was to be hanged anyway.. )
As I keep the crowd clear I call to the Goliath “Help Watch the crowd while secure the prisoner.” As I pick Ilvisar up I try to surreptitiously unlock his bindings.
"Right." Stone would say flatly before spinning around and slamming his shield hard into the faces of those nearby. Drawing the battleaxe from his back, he would shout at those that remained close. "Get back! You heard the woman!" he would shout before spitting on to the ground and pointing the head of his axe towards anyone that looked as though they might stand up to him.

As you were watching, the prisoner hasn’t been trying to escape. He was pushed off the gallows by the guard as she was struck by a thrown object from the crowd. The guard has asked you to keep the crowd at bay.
The guard (Hallie) is the one from your dream you were charged to protect. Whether you do so or not is up to you. This does sound like quite the chaotic thing that may be right up your alley. Just because your evil doesn’t mean you can’t wait something out to understand what’s going on, plan and profit selfishly later, and maybe holding off going on a murder spree... right away that is. But maybe it’s not worth it.
Ilvisar speaks while the shackles are being unlocked, "My good man, you've made a friend for life. And I do good by my friends. Now, we need to get down to the docks, I stashed my belongings there before they took me in."
Hallie and Ilvisar fall to the ground, as Stone very effectively sends the crowd scattering giving at least 15 feet space in all directions. The lock of the shackles pops open.
(Ilsivar still has the bag over his head)
Hallie watches the shackles fall to the ground. The scene feeling like it slows down around her as she watches the cuffs crash into the dirt; sending her glimpses back into her dream before snapping back to reality.
In all of the commotion Xil decides what needs to be done as Hallie makes their move Xil bends down to the base of the support beam for the gallows and cast earth tremor to knock it over
”the docks you say? I can clear a path.” Xil transforms into a brown bear and starts roaring and running. Toward the docks
Spinning the prisoner around and pulling the cover from his head to finally see the face of the man she had upturned her life for. “Good, yes. Man, no.” As the bear tears though the crowd she shoves Ilsivar after it calling back to the goliath. “Big guy you coming?”
Seeing the crowd scatter and the bear tear off through the streets, the goliath would smile for a moment to the woman from his dream. "Yeah... I'm coming" He would say as he began running along side the group towards the docks.
The crowd begins to scream and guards begin to scramble and give chase following loosely behind. Between the two guards in the group that regularly patrol the streets, you’re able to make quick decisions or shout out directions to the bear.
You hear a horn blaring back from the barracks. The search is on as all the guards within the city are informed something is wrong. You’re running down the last alleyway before coming to the zig zagging stone steps that lead to the docks. There are two guards talking to each other until they see the bear running straight at them, they look to the rest of the group “what is happening?!”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ilvisar looks at Hallie when she says, "Good, yes. Man, no" once the bag is removed and replies, "It's a figure of speech. Get over it."
Ilvisar sees the two confused guards and yells out frantically, "The gallows are under attack by demons. All guards are being called to arms. Save us!"
Flabbergasted by what they are being told, you don’t know if they believe you but they don’t stop you and get out of your way. Giving a very strange look at the bear supposedly leading the group.
Baguning to snake back and forth down the steps you see after a long stretch of stone road (about 150feet) the Dock forms and splits into an obtuse angle. To the right follows along the shore where several fisheries, warehouses, and storefronts are found. Stout and rounded wooden buildings with low angled roofs built up on stilts and wooden frames to help resist the storms that come in. This grants several walkways through and below some buildings.
to the left the dock stretches out into the bay, allowing some of the larger ships to dock, still having the largest ships further out anchored in the bay. There is a substantial decrease in guards presence - due to the alarms, but you know it’s temporary.
As the bear comes up short and the others stop I swing my two short swords to the neck of the man I just saved from the gallows. Anguish and desperation are clear on my face and in my voice. “Now tell me who you are and why I'm having dreams about freeing you! What kind of trick is this?”

Stone:
You recognize the female guard is the same from your dream.
Xil:
There is something eerie seeing the guard, prisoner, and Goliath standing next to each other. The tickle begins to go down your back once more.
