During your time in Waterdeep, you have not heard of Xanathar's identity. You get a good look around the area with the light from Fluttercloak's lantern and see no traps covering the door. However, in your search around the surrounding area for wires, you stumble across a section of wall along the eastern side of the passage leading further south, maybe 10 feet further south than the main door heading west. A secret door!

Boys, this sewer jaunt just got interesting! We’ve got a secret door over here! Kale goes over to open the door, putting an ear against it and listening carefully before he does so. Perception 3
The door opens to what seems like a back exit, stairs leading down (up out of the hideout) into a square room roughly 20x20ft. In the middle of the otherwise empty room is a stone pillar carved with a small symbol: a perfect circle with ten equidistant spokes radiating outward from its circumference. In the middle of this circle is a smaller circular indentation that bears a passing resemblance to a lidless eye. The passage from the secret door into this room runs northeast↔southwest, and there are three additional exits out: Two single doors, due west and north, and a set of double doors east.

Ringo hangs back in the sewer, daggers in both hands, and keeps an eye for anyone coming by. "What do we got up there?" Ringo whisper-yells up the stairs to Kalmar and Flutter.

Both of you are able to recover your daggers.

Kalmar, you don't hear anything of note behind the secret door. Fluttercloak's eyes light up, and he listens as well.

Ringo slips between Kalmar and Flutter and rests his ear against the wall to see if he can hear anything.
Perception: 8
Ringo shakes his head from not hearing anything. "I say we ready our swords and open the secret door," Ringo says as he pulls out two daggers.
Drip...drip...drip...is all you hear, echoing off the walls of the cavern.

Kalmar nods, drawing a sword as he opens the door.
