Drax is going to keep running without looking back (I assume the metal weighs more than 10 pounds?), pumping his arms, the disquised old dwarf woman would sprint away from the flames.
If any of the metal pieces are nearby, Matteo will attempt to pick them up. He won't stray too far from the door, though; if they're further back, he'll just wait where he is, until everyone is together. We must hurry. And we should anticipate a challenge from the Faithless priests above.
You rush through the wooden door as the Fire gains on you.. standing behind the door you feel the relief of the heat is blocked. Taking a deep breath you realize the room isn’t quiet, In fact there is a swirling vortex of air filling the room. The portal has been activated. You turn to find two large claws grasp the edge of the room, pulling this monstrosity out of the portal. Is it does it stands 14 feet tall at the shoulder. The front two massive claws of grizzly bear, the hind quarters of a ram, spiny and scaled black tail with tentacles protruding from the base. The same black scales cover its wings, folded in. Three heads release an abyssal scream, to the left a bear head bearing its sharp fangs. To the right and ram with hellfire in its eyes, and in the middle. A long neck curls up with a black dragon’s head. The eyes .... missing, as long black whisker like tentacles move around and feel the air.
Chimera’s initiative: 10
The portal shuts and the floor resolidifies as the chimera fills the room. You stand 15 feet away from the Chimera standing face to face, the door is still ajar behind you, the door out across the way is closed. You stand together as it’s Drax, Petmorn, and Zin’s initiative
Drax would look up to the large creature "We don't have time for this!" He would say glancing back to his companions. He would then grab the glowing crystal in his pocket and begin shouting towards the creature in as many languages as he can while casting suggestion"Help us escape from this temple before we all die down here!" He would shout in Abyssal, Common, Draconic, Dwarvish, and Elvish in the hopes that the creature understands one of them!
Wis 16 save or.. I guess it helps us to escape? not sure how you feel about him rattling off different languages...
Drax would look to the beast and spit on the ground. "You should have listened..." He would growl as the rod glowed a sickly green. A moment later, a green specral skeletal hand would launch towards the creature, clawing towards it with necrotic energy...
Choking down the fumes you’re all able to withstand whatever effect the dragon sprayed out. Matteo’s attacks don’t seem to getting through the tough hide of the beast. Once the attacks bounce off the armor, ice begins to form and shatter all over the Chimera. As the chill touch takes effect.
(Sorry messed up initiative order, Petmorn is up. Also I’m in Florida and hurricane and all. Might be extra time between posts)
Petmorn continues to slash into the beast. As it roars back in agony.
The three heads looks to retaliate in kind. Two attacks against Petmorn and one against Matteo.
The front bearlike claws strike out slashing with ferocity against Petmorn at the same time the dragon head extends with snapping turtle like speed and clamps down.
Claw Attack: 27 Damage: 25
Bite attack: 9 Damage: 17
meanwhile the ram’s head lowers and slams into Matteo
The Claw strikes deep pass the armor of Petmorn leaving a sizeable wound. But He is able to roll out of the way of the bite. The ram head slams against the prepared Matteo’s shield.
At this point in time the fire has reached the doorway. The swirl of lights on the wall mixing from the purple hue of the portal intertwined with the orange heat of the fire. You can feel the heat increasing in the room. You know it’s a matter of time until the room is completely engulfed.
Matteo still hopes to kill this beast before the heat forces them to retreat. He angles himself to make an escape if needed, but otherwise continues with his attacks:
Attack: 26 Damage: 10 Attack: 26 Damage: 10
He'll add a divine smite to each of those, which since they're both critical, is 4d8 each strike, right?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Emboldened by seeing Matteo unleash devastating blows on the creature, Petmorn grits his teeth and pushes through the pain to swing again at the Chimera.

"Ah damn!" Petmorn yells as the lightning's shock courses through him. He manages to overcome the paralysis and push on after Drax.

(I would say per the spells parameters you can get abyssal and common out).
The spell falls upon deaf ears as the beast doesn’t understand what you’re saying. It’s ears perk up when it hears draconic. (No spell effect/save)
Drax - roll a persuasion check with disadvantage.
(ooc: Iam pretty good at persuasion but disadvantage is rough.. I mean.. It doesn't want to burn to death right? lol)
persuasion! 14
(OOC pretty sure that probably isnt enough lol)
(Don’t know if the others are waiting to see if the persuasion works.)
Hearing the words of Drax, the beast snarls and the three heads roar in retaliation. A ferocity multiplied by trio of heads working in unison.
Petmorn and Zing’s initiative
"So much for diplomacy" Petmorn grumbles as he pulls out his axes and hurls them both towards the beast.
Attack: 26 Damage: 6
Attack: 25 Damage: 11

Petmorn slashes twice into the monstrosity that is snarling before him. The three heads rear back, trying to get away from the pain.
Mad the dragon head rears back and unleashes a blast of green fog that radiates and fills the room.
Wisdom Save 14, on failure roll 1d10
Matteo’s Initiative then top of the order to Drax

So wise!
Matteo, happy to have a big enemy to kill, draws his longsword and charges at the chimera, making two attacks:
Attack: 8 Damage: 9
Attack: 7 Damage: 5
Angel piss! he curses as (I assume) the strikes both miss. Don't worry, I'll get you in a moment.
