Roscoe offers a slight shrug when questioned the type of garden. "We's aren't really good with plants but Edeleth is. We's would just help with the digging and mole whacking. We's aren't used to the city life like some of yous. We's would always travel with the tribe and we's would find new places all the time to live. We's do miss the tribe, but have to complete the awakening first. It's the way we's are connected to our family."Roscoe shows Elixisys the ever shifting tattoos that dance across his arm. "These are my family. This dagger is Rosri and this plant here is for Edeleth. This book here is for Zyman. Family is important to us. If yous try to hurt my family, we's will have to kill you."
The halfling offers a shrug as the statement is more a matter of fact than a threat. "We's are happy to have you and your beautiful creature with us."
Elixisys nods at the seriousness of the statement. "I wish no harm upon your family Roscoe. This war has cost us to many families already and it is only beginning. I shall endeavour to prove my worth to you all and help you on your journeys."

Alright, what the heck, I'm a full time DM and I'd love to join a post-to-play if it means I have a ghost of a chance at actually being a player XD
Do y'all have room for one more? I have a number of characters in mind but I'm not sure what level I should play as... also, if you're in need of a certain type of class (ie, tank, healer, etc) then let me know.
Oh perfect! I am a co-DM with Grotex (who came up with Talaveroth and started all of these adventures) and have room in my game, which will hopefully get fully launched later this week! Just PM me, and I can fill you in on more details. It will be in a different part of the world from these other fine players, though will be going on contemporaneously in-world. Thanks for your interest!
Thanks for your interest. We are indeed, as of now, a Multi-DM Homebrew Community of over 20 people, with myself running 4 Teams in the City of the Three Peaks, Jabthar running one Team in the Lowlands, and ArthurWells running a Second Evil Team.
This whole Shennanigans all started as a way for me to get my daily D&D fix, because most games on here are private, and it can be hard to get in. So I started my own Open World Mass Campaign, where I allowed as many Players as I could handle (about 15-16) to join. We eventually were able to get to level7, but more and more requests came in to join. So I started recruiting DMs within the group, who were willing to run their own teams in Talaveroth, and help accomodate new Players, as well as expand the World, which I originally designed in 2015 when D&D 5e came out, and ran with my friends in person for 4 years until I decided to "upload it" here.
And if you're considering DMing (which I am all ears about), make sure to at least read through the Wiki and Main Thread (this one). Quite a lot has happened since the original Dozen stepped into a random Tavern...
I have to say, we have lost a few Players along the road, due to the Chaos of running a Campaign on this scale, but out of that Chaos came a solid base of die hard Talaverothians, and quite frankly an amazing cast of Characters who have all helped make this World into a vibrant, dangerous, exciting, intriguing, epic and psychotic place.
To you People, I tip my newly acquired "Hat of the Arch-DM" ...
Hmm... I do a lot of DMing as it is and I was moreso just looking for a loose game I could PC in on a forum like this. As much as I love being the almighty Dungeon Master, I might have to turn that one down :P
Thanks for the info though! I might be back but I'm gonna pop into a few other threads and see what I can find :-)
@Dweesy: For sure - and you may not be terribly interested in the kind of game I hope to be running. It will, if I have any say over it, be quite political and probably a little involved, though (I hope) in ways that are fun. If you are looking for an easier hack-and slash kind of game to blow of steam and restore your own creativity for your DM games, I understand, and happily advise you to proceed here little further! Talaveroth certainly has room for that style of play (which would be quite fun,) though it seems like now we are generally moving towards some much more complicated and intersecting storylines on several fronts. Keep an eye out for new games, though! Maybe something will pop up here.
World news: Jabthar and Astalda have been working hard recently, and come up with some amazing material about the Lowlands, and the Westwoods! I will most certainly steal some of their stuff and throw it into my games, to create story links between all the teams. Wether your Characters are in the Three Peaks, the Lowlands, the Westwoods, or traveling around Talaveroth looking for Evil Artifacts, all action is simultaneous, and one Team's actions may affect other teams, no matter which DM you are rolling with.
As the Krampus materialized, with his horns, and hooved feet
"Hello, Talaveroth, I'm here and I most hunger
For naughty Children, I will whip them
Until their souls are mine forever!"
He then called out, with his loudest shout
"Where are these Pesky Adventurers?
I'm here to battle, you measely Mortals
And I will make you suffer!"
WELCOME TO THE TALAVEROTH CHRISTMAS SPECIAL: RISE OF THE KRAMPUS!
ANYONE IS WELCOME TO THROW DOWN ON THIS SPECIAL BATTLE AGAINST THE KRAMPUS! IF YOU DO, YOU ARE CONSIDERED TO HAVE TAKEN A LONG REST BEFOREHAND, AND SUDDENLY DITCH EVERYTHING AND RUSH TO THE CENTRAL PLAZA IN THE LOW PEAK TO DEFEND THE CITY'S CHILDREN, WHICH KRAMPUS WILL ABDUCT EVERY ROUND UNTIL SOMEONE STOPS HIM!
MEANWHILE, OUR VILAINS/GRINCHES IN THE COUNTRYSIDE ARE REAPING HAVOC, AND WILL ROLL SOME EVIL CHECKS ON THEIR PM THREADS😈😈. I WOULDN'T TOUCH THEM WITH A THIRTY NINE AND A HALF FOOT POLE...
EVERY TEAM IS TEMPORARELY WELCOME TO ROLL INITIATIVE ON THEIR OWN THREADS, AND JOIN THE WAR OF CHRISTMAS EVE ON THEIR RESPECTIVE FRONTS: THE CITY (TEAM1 AND 2), THE COUNTRYSIDE (EVIL TEAMS), AND THE PLANE OF WATER (TEAM3).
Talaveroth: Shadows on the Lowlands will be officially launching this Friday! Final applications still accepted, albeit with the conditions of versatility and simplicity within the time constraint!
Sorry about the 2 day break everyone, I had some extremely important personal stuff going on. I will be back to posting by tomorrow, so we can wrap up the Holiday Special, and get back to business

(Jingle jingle jingle...)
It was the night before Christmas,
And some Adventurers were asleep.
Yet a few of them were restless
Jumping into the Blue Deep.
Talaveroth was silent,
No riots or shrieks,
But many lights were radiant
In the City of the Three Peaks.
All of a sudden, the lights went dark...
And an icy wind swept through the street.
Wolves howled, and dogs began to bark
As the Krampus materialized, with his horns, and hooved feet
"Hello, Talaveroth, I'm here and I most hunger
For naughty Children, I will whip them
Until their souls are mine forever!"
He then called out, with his loudest shout

Don’t worry! Hope it all is sorted out okey!
Yes, it's no problem. As much as we all enjoy our Talaveroth lives, real life comes first.
