Peshley rides forward into the cold. The weather rolling in made it difficult for her hawk to stay aloft, so she called it back to ride with her, perched on her backpack. She was looking forward to finally setting up camp and getting out of the cold.
(So the bigger ones basically, just checking. So now I suppose we would need to wait on the DM to say approximately what time it is so if there's time to chat or if we should just bed down for the night.)
Do you all rest the night at the Tavern and then depart the next morning?
As the snow started to trickled down on Uther's armour, he was thankful for its warmth. He looks back at Saerirra then the others to make sure they are warm as well.
Survival : 16
After a long ride and seeing everyone's weary faces, he looks at a seeming more protected area and says "we should camp here"
As he dismounts then helps Saerirra, he sees Cade working his magic, " wonderful !" He exclaimed As he claps.
Uther wakes refreshed he yawns puts on his cloths and armour then walks out the tent. "Let us eat quickly then be on our way." After he wakes whoever's still asleep.
He starts to feed the fire as he sits on a nearby rock.

(A bit early to get to morning I think. We don't even know how the rolls we made will affect us. And we might not for a while, since the DM says he's going on a trip to see family.)
(Well, it's not as if I had much in mind for the night besides this)
Before laying down to go to sleep, Saerirra would place her flute up on a horizontal support beam of the tent as a makeshift hanger for her dress after she slips it off.
(Or if no such support beam exists in this style of tent she would just lay her dress as flat and smoothe as possible in a corner of the tent, trying to keep it nice and neat obviously.)
If Peshley were to be awake at the time, she would notice Saerirra has very simple cloth wrappings, quite the contrast to her well-made dress, covering her modesty well enough under her dress. Saerirra then slips into her sleeping bag (or something equivalent i'm sure the tent provides) and relaxes a bit before falling asleep. (Or staying up a bit later if Peshley wants to talk)
OOC: Well to be fair I'll post what Cade does before bed and upon waking.
Cade - Walking towards their tent Cade and Baron go inside where Cade takes off Barons garb (saddle, saddle bags, bit and bridle, etc.) and get himself down to his common clothes being sure to keep his new armor within reach. Telling Baron, "Stay! Good Boy! I am going outside for a bit I will be back shortly.", he takes his armor and his bar of soap and heads towards the water trough and splashes some water onto the armor and using his soap attempts to get the blood stains out of it. As he sits there and scrubs there is just a very deep stain on the one part that won't come out to which Cade thinks, "Ugh! That's it!", he then stands above the armor and casts Prestidigitation to clean what is left of the stubborn spot. Looking at the armor Cade lets out a quiet, "Yeah!", and picks up his armor and goes back to the tent. Upon entering the tent Baron seemingly the ever excited mastiff comes up to Cade wagging his tail and they spend the night laying on one of the bedrolls inside the tent.
The next morning Cade wakes up to a slobbering tongue all over his face to which he says, "I'm up. I'm UP!", he gets himself dressed making sure to put on his armor and feeds Baron after getting all of his garb back on. He looks up afterwards and sees Uther who appears to be sitting next to the fire.
Peshley settles in to the tent quickly glad to be out of the cold. The trip had been far from pleasant; the storm was freezing and the robes she wore offered little protection. Inside the tent she stows her gear and pulled out some rations.
Saerirra too was getting ready for the evening. Peshley made sure that the bard had the room she needed to stretch out, room she herself did not need. As she listened to the weather outside Peshley checked her glyphs of storing and spent time studying her books. While she sleeps she will have her familiar transported back into its pocket dimension to be recalled in the morning.
When Peshley wakes in the morning she will assess the weather before getting ready to do anything else.

Saerirra would watch Peshley with her glyphs with fascination, but keeping quiet so as not to disturb her. When she wakes in the morning she would take her own bar of soap down to the water trough to do some light bathing, washing her arms, legs, shoulders, and neck without removing her wrappings, then returns to her tent to slip her dress back on after drying off.
Cade - Trying to think back to his readings of historical battles and trying to remember if there are any that could be considered similar to this situation.
History Roll: 23
OOC: I rolled a history check prior to this and didn't receive anything behind it, but with what I rolled I assume I have decent knowledge of what I was asking about.

With a 23 on his History check, Cade knows that Gnolls only attack weaker targets, or at least targets they deem weaker than them. In past historical battles, they have been known to harrass and raid small settlements around bigger Cities, as to draw their ennemies' forces out of said City.
They are also known to be subject to "the Eternal Hunger", a demonic curse placed on their race Eons ago...

The tents are each big enough for 2 people, and pretty sturdy. Dwarven Military grade

Do you all rest the night at the Tavern and then depart the next morning?
(My resistance to cold attacks doesn't equate to some measure of resistance to the cold?)
Survival Check: 13
Constitution Save Throw: Nat 1, total of 2, rolled in case the answer to the above is no
Saerirra since you are resistant to cold you may roll with advantage
(Okay thanks.)
Constitution roll: 19
OOC: the way I read the RP was that we left same day. Which means the 1 1/2 day journey would be split up 1/2 day first full day second.

I think we rolled all possible checks to get some information about gnolls in general and Screaming Hunters in particular too.
