- Your practical approach, Master Overhill, is the most reasonable. And we might consider some carriage, probably, as well as horses. Forty miles on foot is a two days journey for us - me, Uther and Saerirra. One day may be, if we are not carrying much and skip the rest. But, forgive me, I am not sure you and Lady Pechley can keep up - our steps are bigger. A horse and carriage can help.
- Not sure we need to combine all the money - then we risk to loose everything at once. I do believe before pulling our money Lady Saerirra would be able to negotiate a good price on anything, including horses. As the most practical of us you might make a list of necessary things, I can only think of some tents and rations, the rest is quite individual. And then we can pay for it together.
"Me? How would I help lower the price on horses and carriage? Sure I could ask, I suppose. If the seller is maybe one of my people, or knows about our mission, or if we bring up the General's name. Or....no, I shouldn't do that. Well, maybe we can work out something when we get to the stables.....if we can find them. Anybody know there way around Three Peaks?"
(Also, quick question. Did we get 100gp each or 100gp to split among ourselves?)
OOC: good question. I took "a 100Gp purse in front of everyone" as each of us got 100 gp.
- Dear Lady, I meant your charm and fame - any merchant will be reluctant to pray on a famous artist requesting something in your melodic voice. But if such mundane things bother you, any of us can do it as well, of course.
"Well....hmmm....maybe we should see what the price is first before resorting to that. The stablehands are just trying to make a living and have done no wrong, I would think. It might not be that much. I have never used my looks to get things out of people. Yes I make myself up nicely, but only for performances."
(I'm guessing it's 100gp split, if it's "a 100gp purse", that means ONE purse in front of us, so therefore we each get 20gp.)

Cade - Taking into consideration what is being said from the groups starts thinking of what provisions they may need, but starts by saying, "Well...we should be good on tents and rations honestly I am sad to admit that I am a creature of comforts and chose to learn Create Campsite, but we may need other specialty items if we are going into battle perhaps some potions wouldn't hurt...I know some of us know healing magic, but we may not be able to quickly rely on that. Is there anything that anyone needs more of that we can get...also, where we can get it?".
*Create Campsite - When you cast this spell you create a campsite fit for six people. When casted you conjure 3 two person tents, a campfire with a spit roast, a 10 gallon water trough, and with an outhouse.
OOC: In regards to the money I was thinking that it was just a single pouch for us all to share.

We all likely have local legend status due to that incident and it might not hurt for us to use it to our advantage while we can...plus, Laievis has a point neither Peshley or myself could hope to keep up with any of you just walking."

" That is quite a useful spell Mr Overhill , it will be very useful in our travels"
Ooc: i understood it to 100 each but either way whatever the consensus is im good.
" i have traded far and wide for my fathers clan and my my mother's kingdom. I might be able to help negotiate fair trade. "
Cade - Looking towards Uther, "Oh! Do you know where we could get a decent deal on items then?".
OOC: This is what was said, "She snaps her fingers, and a squire walks in, putting a 100Gp purse in front of everyone"...re-reading it I can see it being for both cases confirmation would be awesome because if it's we each have 100gp it may make me think differently about some choices.
"Hmm, yes I think we need to purchase some things in town, besides potions and horses. I carry light as you can see." Saerirra not having any full backpack or the like on her person besides the two smaller bags tucked into the sash of her dress on either side of her hips. The sashes acting as "pockets" for the small pouches of her minimal belongings. "Both myself and Cade have the means of making our shorter rests more restful should we need. And we also have this." She picks up the makeshift flare that was given to us. "Who is going to carry this thing?"

(I honestly don't see any indication of 100gp each. "She places A purse" meaning just one, and "in front of everyone" most likely means just on the table in the likely small room we met in. Which would undoubtedly be in front of everyone. That's how I see it, anyway.)

Cade - Seeing the flare in Saerirra's hand he starts to think,"How does that thing even work? Also,..." He then says aloud, "Which of us is going to likely be the most in the rear as support? That individual would be the one who would be able to oversee if we all needed to get help...in case of danger...from death." Cade is trying his best not to let his nerves take control of him as he thinks about what may lie ahead.

Yes, EACH of you receives a purse with 100Gp. Sorry for the funny wording...

" Not in this town as i have just come hear to build trading ties. But i noticed a few shops that look quite promising. "
(I also rolled perception to find a couple things in town but the DM never got to resolving that. So I think that should be disregarded and I will roll anew because the situation has quite changed, obviously)
"Maybe we should split up, ask around town. I will set out to see what I can find." Saerirra then leaves the tavern and begins searching Three Peaks.
Perception roll: 21, to try to find shops of weird, unusual items, magical or not.
Perception roll: 7, to try to find a potion shop, guessing that would fail, so in rp sense, she would likely ask someone if there was one in town, just in case it may be needed, depending on who she ends up asking, i'll make a persuasion roll here: 22, and she would try to persuade by saying something along the lines of "Please sir/miss. My friends and I are about to travel to dangerous lands. We really could use some potions if there's a shop available somewhere. Or if you know of a better place to shop, that would be appreciated too." And she would curtsy.
By the way, Saerrira did go looking for shops during her downtime, and found a place called Ruskor's Castle of Junk. It is a large warehouse full of random objects, chaotically piled up everywhere from floor to ceiling.
Ruskor is good friends with Gavin Mc Kullick, so he offers discounts for the Pcs. The motto written on the front sign is "Ya' never know whatcha gonna get, but by Moradin, we've got it!"

Cade - See's Saerirra walking out and yells, "Saerirra wait! If we split up where and when do we meet up afterwards?"
Before she leaves, Saerirra hears Cade shout behind her. She turns around to answer him. "I thought we'd likely meet up here again. Unless you have a better idea."
Saerirra enters the large warehouse and looks around for a clerk of some kind but only for like a second after seeing the piles upon piles of random objects and things. "H-hello? I would like to see if you have anything I or my friends could use to keep ourselves safe." She also mutters a "Wow." under her breath.
" Once they meet my greataxe they will not trouble this land anymore" boasts Uther.
He tries to think of his past experiences with Gnolls.
