Before she leaves, Saerirra hears Cade shout behind her. She turns around to answer him. "I thought we'd likely meet up here again. Unless you have a better idea."
Saerirra enters the large warehouse and looks around for a clerk of some kind but only for like a second after seeing the piles upon piles of random objects and things. "H-hello? I would like to see if you have anything I or my friends could use to keep ourselves safe." She also mutters a "Wow." under her breath.
Cade - Hearing what Saerirra said thinks to himself, "Ok...if we're going into a battle I may need some armor and see what else I can get." With that in mind he follows her into the warehouse where there appears to be something, for everyone, for anything.
Saerrira's voice echoes throughout the warehouse, letting her wonder if anyone works here at all.
A few silent seconds go by, and a dwarven figure emerges from under a desk. A female dwarf, wearing a miner's outfit, complete with a hard hat, pick axe, and leather coveralls, covered in dirt. She looks around for a few seconds, then sees Saerirra.
"Well hello! Sorry I didn't see you there. Today is the busiest and most dreaded day of the year here at the Castle of Junk...Inventory Day!"
You hear a muffled voice coming from behind the desk, as if someone was speaking to the woman from a hole underneath the warehouse. You can't really hear what the voice is saying, but the woman answers it.
"Yes love, CUSTOMERS!"
Your hear some ruffling around, and a male Dwarf, similarly dressed and equally covered in dirt, climbs out of the hole underneath the desk.
"Ah, welcome to Ruskor's Castle of Junk! Our motto is : Ya' never know what ya' gonna get, but by Moradin, we've got it! What brings ya' here today?"
Saerirra smiles warmly to the dwarven couple and bows slightly.
"Oh, hello there. My name is Saerirra, and my friend Cade and I are about to...well, we've been called into service, long story short. We're about to go take care of some Gnolls. Do you have anything that could help us in battle? Potions or something? I'm not sure what else we could use, but I suppose anything you could think of can be useful. I'm not sure what Cade is looking for."
Saerirra smiles warmly to the dwarven couple and bows slightly.

Cade - Still looking around trying to take everything in Cade realizes that everything is quiet and that the female dwarf and Saerirra are looking at him and can only get out, "Um...armor? I need better protection than what I have currently."
Peshley, reflects back on what she knows about gnolls, she is fairly familiar with their habitat and the stories she has heard from the merchants in and out of her home gives her a good understanding of them, but as with all stories told over a few drinks it was hard to tell where the truth lay. They always sounded like savages, but then again, they could organise themselves into raiding parties and small military forces. She wondered what their families were like, but the tales never spoke about that.
Peshley hears Saerirra's comments about getting equipment and transportation and agrees that this is probably a good idea. Her first port of call is to find something to ride. Excusing herself from the others, she mentions her plans to buy goods and agrees to meet back at the tavern later that day.
Let me know if I take too many liberties here. trying to keep it following and talking quite generically about places and locations that should exist in a major city like this.
Peshley made her way across the bridge toward the gates of the city. The stables were more likely to be there, where they had access to space outside the walls and where travellers would be passing through. Along the way she asked a few guards for their recommendations of vendors, finally arriving at stables that looked like it might be in her price range. It didn't have the banners and bright colours that some had, but it appeared to be well maintained and the people there appeared to be tending to the animals. As she walked into the yard she saw a range of animals, large horses with barrel-like chests and white feathery feet. Others were sleek piebald horses who pranced around their enclosures. Some of the horses she could have walked underneath barely having to duck.
Across the yard, a young pony caught her attention. It was a beautiful fawn colour and appeared to have an easy temperament. It wasn't too big and Peshley was fairly certain she could manage riding it.
"Excuse me."Peshley got the attention of the stablemaster. "That pony there, is it for sale? I'm looking for a suitable mount, a saddle and some tack. Do you think you could help me out?"
Looking to buy a pony, riding saddle, saddlebag, bit and bridle and possibly a couple of days feed.
Uther follows Saerirra and Cade into the shop "that will not do," he yells from behind. " my lady allow me to deal with these hagglers, " he whispers.
" I know what the true prices are supposed to be, and I expect you to do better. We are looking for potions for the madam, and armour for me and mr. Cade. "
Ruskor smiles. "Well, ya've come to the right place! Hold on for a moment..." He disappears back into the hole for a minute, during which you hear loud clanking noises, and angry muffled cursing.
He reappears, dragging an entire rack of armors and shields, all of them Small Size.
"From studded leather to full plate, we gotcha' me Halflin' friend. Now.. what kind of budget are we talking about here?"
Meanwhile, Ruskor's wife Brumhilda takes Saerrira around the warehouse, where dozens, if not hundreds of dusty vials full of colorful liquids sit on rows of old wooden shelves.
"Its good te see more women adventuring these days. Ya' be careful out there though...well, here we go...Healing, Giant's Strength, waterbreathing, fire breath, flying...take yer pick, girl!"
Potions start at 50GP, but you may roll a PERSUASION check to get a better deal.
Saerirra looks down at the floor in minor embarrassment, one arm across her stomach to clutch the other arm.
"P-please do not call me madam Uther. I am not a madam of any sort. *ahem* That's right, Cade needs some armor fit for his build. I could use anything else protective you may have. I suppose it's a long shot that you would have anything magical. But then, I'm not exactly swimming in gold anyway."
Ruskor smiles. "Well, ya've come to the right place! Hold on for a moment..." He disappears back into the hole for a minute, during which you hear loud clanking noises, and angry muffled cursing.

Saerirra smiles as she follows Brumhilda around the shop.
"Yes I suppose. Adventuring is in my blood, so to speak. My parents were quite active, even after having me."
She looks over the potions with Brumhilda, her eyes going wide open at the mention of the Potion of Flying.
"Oh Merryn.....f-flying.....Um...you don't suppose I could have that flying potion and maybe a couple healing potions for a decent price, could you? I am on a bit of a budget."
Cade - Looking at the armor is surprised to see such a display. Only in his stories and the occasional picture has he heard or even seen so many pieces of armor. He looks at the dwarf and says, "I would like an armor that is light, but durable I have a budget of...," he stopped and thought, "I don't want to spend all of my money on one item...I suppose I could go...", he spits out 75gp." He then waits for an answer.
Brumhilda scratches her head, and turns to her husband, currently showing Cade his collection of small sized armors.
"Rus' ! Are we still doing the Hanging Chicken discount?"
Ruskor answers "Yes! 50% off!"
New prices: Minor Healing potion 25Gp, all others are 50Gp (instead of 100).
"Oh! Oh! Okay! Okay! Okay! Here's....." Saerirra does some quick math in her head. "...100 gold for the two potions and the flying potion!" She hands Brumhilda 100gp then grabs the potions off the shelf, visibly excited. She makes her way back to Cade and Uther, smiling and humming gleefully.
She notices Cade's new armor. "Oh wow. Hmmm, looks a bit dirty." She casts Mage Hand and licks the phantom hand's thumb and bring it across various splotches of dirt and whatever else may be staining the armor, not expecting that to do much, but wanting to help yet not able to do much else.

As Cade shows Ruskor his budget, the Dwarf takes a few seconds to think...
"I've got just the thing for ya' !"
He browses through the armor rack, and grabs a tattered, worn, yet exquisitely crafted mithrall Chainshirt, with a small, barely visible symbol of a Gear Wheel and Fist interlocked. There are still a few old blood stains on it...
"This belonged to a friend of mine...a Rock Gnome ranger, of the Lowlands Resistance. That wee' little devil's killed more Drow slavers than anyone else I know! But eventually, he sold it to me when he settled down and started his farm. Here, try it on..."
The Chainshirt feels very light for its thickness. And it fits Cade perfectly...

"That poney? Its utterly useless! " says the Stablemaster.
"It just prances around doing whatever it wants!"
The poney, which bares an unusual purple stripe on his back, is staring at you intensely, with the saddest eyes you have ever seen...it approaches Peshley, and almost seems to bow down to her. The stablemaster is perplexed...
"But then again, it seems to like ya'...and either I sell the Damn' animal, or we're gonna have to make poney steaks soon..."
The poney neighs, and kicks the Stablemaster in the rear end, sending him crashing against the wooden fence.
"That's it with ya'! I've had enough of this stupid poney! You want it? I'll sell it to ya' for 10Gp, saddle and feed included. Just take it away from me!"
