I'm assuming that will take a dash action. Witt will get to Linthe and, as he's running, he'll try to think of something to say that will help, but he'll fail.
Kal takes a furtive swipe at Linthe but the desperate Elf took care to keep out of his attack. He charges after her but decides to stop after about thirty feet of the chase and hurl his shadowed weapon at her. It flies as if made out of leaden smoke and moves faster that it appears it should.
The ethereal blade lances straight through Linthe's back and pierces all the way through her torso. A gout of green-gold flame envelopes the blade for a moment as it dissipates into nothingness. Kal holds his hand solemnly to his side as the sword reforms in his grasp.
"One justice paid but one still remains." Kal turns to assist Sora and the others with the shadow demon.
As the dark ethereal blade, wreathed in green flames, past through the elf's chest, she reached out towards the exit before her in desperate pain. She gasped as if trying to breathe, or scream, but nothing came out, only silence, followed by darkness. In the next moment she fell to the ground dead.
The cave was now completely silence as the fury of the previous battle disappeared. The driving force behind the kingdom's threats and horrors was finally killed.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Oh. It’s... over.
Witt looks around as quiet settles on the batttlefield and his friends slowly come together over the slain figure of their foe. He inspects each of them, and to the most wounded he gives the last of the Harvest Watcher’s blessing for the day, a [spell]cure wounds[\spell] for 13 HP.
We’ve done it. We have to go back to the queen and tell her, but really... we’ve done it. We’ve saved the Kingdom. I hope. He trails off uncertainly, thinking of the consequences this could have on the politics of the region, and the ever-present danger of war when people indulge their foolish anger. He offers a silent prayer.
This has... a strange feeling. It could be an ending or a beginning. We are, I suppose, a strange group with little to tie us together. I wanted adventure, a chance to do some good in the world, away from my village and my family’s farms. I still want that but... perhaps it’s not enough. Perhaps we need to find a common purpose if we’re to stay together and make a difference.
I don’t think I have an answer. Just a question right now. What’s next for us?
It seems despite my best efforts I'm not able to get enough of you guys to stay engaged in the game. This just doesn't feel like the story I wanted to run and I just don't feel it's working for me. I feel terrible that I'm unable to provide the experience you wanted. So rather then continue to struggle in something that doesn't seem to have much interest, I'd rather just finish things up here for now.
Thank you all so much for playing and I eagerly hope all of you continue to find and enjoy as many games as you are able.
Witt will use his full movement (60 feet) to try to reach Linthe. Is he able to get to her?
Witt - Yes you're able to reach Linthe

Thrown Attack: 9 or 23 Damage: 12
Kal'Duros - How do you want to do this?

And with that I will be ending the campaign here.

Thanks everyone, especially the DM, and hope to play again in future.
