Sora chuckles at Witt's questions, "There's no menu for barfights, you just gotta ask the right questions. Or you know, just punch someone who looks at you funny."
Dru looked back at Moira, "Aye, well technically the kingdom owns the mine. I run the mining operation itself. I gota few customers that request constant shipments. Though we're a small operation compared ta most of the mines here in Tarrin." Then he turned his gaze toward Witt and added, "And no, I 'ave no idea what's got tha goblins riled up. Maybe just got enough o' them together to where they got brave enough ta' attack us."
Moira (Does the notice say anything about payment for fixing the supply issue for this noble?)
"Seems strange that the kingdom is not offering payment to clear the mine then. And that a request for help was put up by a ?customer? and not the owner. Either way I for one will be happy to help. Could you show us to the mine, and perhaps give a bit more details on the way?"
Moira- the notice does say there will be payment but doesn't specify how much or who the noble who requested the job is, it just says that when completed you can head back to the Adventurer's Guild to turn it in.
Dru nods in agreement, "Aye, I'm sure we could ask fer help from tha' royal guards under normal times. But at the moment the throne's in a wee bit of o' mess, so they got their attention on bigger problems then a small copper mine like this one. At any rate, if yer all heading out there I can tell you how to get to tha' mine. But I'll be stayin in town with tha rest of me crew till we know it's safe to head out again."
“What do you think about the recent change in rulership? Heard some rumors here and there, nothing apart from that.”, she addresses the dwarf and helps putting some of the double back to its normal place. At this point the prospect of going to the mine caught her immediate attention, and her new companions did so as well. Sora and Mary were both impressive in their own way, she imagined they both could handle themselves if the need arised. Nemeia and Moira seemed a little young and inexperienced, but honestly probably the most knowledgeable of them all. But for some reason, the halfling seemed the most reliable and friendly, apart from Nemeia, to 9. She made a couple of steps towards the exit, “Shall we?”
"Ach, who knows," the dwarf responds to 9, "I reckon it's easy to blame this new queen, but no one really knows what happened. Honestly tha whole mess's beyond me. Fer now I'm just waiting to see how Queen Enalie performs before passin' judgement."
Joining 9 at the exit. "I'm ready." She holds a hand out in greetings to 9 "Never actually said hello properly. It's nice to meet you. Do you prefer to be called 9 or Nine?"

"Awesome, let go kill some goblins!" Sora spoke up as she lept from her seat and vaulted over the table landing on the other side and following the rest along.
"Not too worried about getting paid on this job, mostly looking to pass the time." Sora added to the conversation, "Besides worst case me and Mary got another job we're working on, and that one definitely pays."

"Got it," Nemeia says as she heads out. "Over the river and southwest of the town." As the group travels, Nemeia decides it best to not be caught without a weapon in the event of an ambush. She unhooks the heavy crossbow that had been strapped to her back. It has the most peculiar gears and runes along the frame that were definitely added after it was crafted. Nemeia carries the crossbow but oddly doesn't knock a bolt. She keeps her eyes out for anything that seems out of place.
Shortly after Moira holds her hand out to 9, Witt also offers his and introduces himself. Before they leave the tavern, he asks the tavern owner and/or other staff to tell Gerald where he went, in case he comes asking.
On the road, Witt stays in the middle of the group, knowing that he's not particular good at spotting trouble. I know loads of walking songs, but I suppose we don't really want to attract too much attention, he says. Maybe on the way back?

9 keeps both whip and shield ready, starting to scan the nearby bushes and general area. She glances at Nemeia, who already prepared her unusual crossbow, amd smiles, coughing a little as they move onwards. Perception: 26
”I think humming something won’t make much of a difference. We are not sneaking yet anyway.”, her voice comes out somewhat raspy, but even more hushed, as the moist air softens her throat.
”Of course, you’re right. It’s the same either way. How silly of me. So do you know magic too?”
Moira follows along with the group not really paying that much attention to her surroundings as she chats with 9. She does see the others readying weapons tough and retrieves her wand from her pack.
Sora moves closer towards Nemeia when she sees her pulling out that unusual crossbow. "Ooh hey, that looks neat. Is that a special artifact or something, or does it just look cool? Have you ever tried one of those explosive firearms? Those are pretty impressive, really loud though." As they walk along she makes a note of everyone there and asks out loud, "Actually since we're probably heading towards a fight we should probably get to know each other, or at least know what we all can do. Me personally, I excel at hitting things, nice and simple."

Nemeia beams at Sora's question. She swells with a bit of excitement as she holds the heavy crossbow in front of her. "It's just a normal crossbow, but I made some modifications to it and adjusted a few things here and there." She gives it a turn to look at it from the side angle. "With a bit of work and a bit of effort, I'd say I improved it quite a lot actually." The runes along the limb are the most intricate and that is where the majority of the gear system can be found. Long strings of metal are forged throughout where before it had been mostly wood. "I was getting tired of having to pull the string back so I've modified it so that I don't have to use traditional bolts unless I really need to." Nemeia carefully aims the crossbow at a tree not far off the path they're travelling. "When you engage the firing mechanism, an arcane projectile materializes and is launched along the desired trajectory."
Attack: 18 Damage: 9
Nemeia could talk about her creations all day if someone let her, but the mention of explosive firearms had her interest. "Explosive firearms? That sounds dangerous. How do they work?"
“My specialization is divine magic. Lady spoke to me and now I channel her will, and my own, into the world. What about you?”, 9 stands behind whoever is in front of the group, speaking to Moira. She makes her steps carefully and tries to keep her coat clean as they slog through the swamp.

Moira
Stopping in what she is doing she looks at Dru with confusion. "Don't you own the mine?"

Requested Athletics check: 8
Nemeia nods at 9's suggestion to get moving. Gathering up her supplies, she thanks the gentlemen for the information and follows 9 to the exit.
“Is there a difference?”, 9 asks shaking Mora’s hand and exiting the tavern
"Just cross over tha river an' head southwest outta town." Dru directs the group as they start heading out of the tavern, "Ya can't miss it."

Anyone who want to take lead through the swamp should roll a Survival check for the group.
I'll keep 9's critical Perception roll in mind along the way. :)
