"Yep, we're off then, Turst Fields, 'ere we come, chop chop," Grindal exudes, almost cutting The Margrave off as soon as he ends his explanation. He moves to the door, places a wrinkled hand on the knob, and turns to see no one in as much of a hurry as he is.
Letting out an exasperated sigh, he says, "Right then, information, gotta have all the information in the world, don't ye. Alright, ye learn yer whozits and whatzits, Phantom Skewer an' I'll be waitin' outside."
He freezes for only a moment to glare hard at Shadow as he catches a glimpse of the goblinoid, then shakes his head and steps outside.

Wilick follows the dwarfs lead and heads outside. We know where we need to go, what's the use of standing around. Get in, do the job, get out.As he gets outside, Wilick takes up post on the opposite side of of the road to the dwarf and watches for the others to come out. He unconsciously checks his quiver and taps on an empty scabbard hanging at his side.
Margrave Zimmerset looks up from his papers with a raised eyebrow. "Well Mr. Jury I am sorry to say I have no way to help you with magic and... portals... and I am not in the business of tending to specific personal requests. The best I will be able to do is provide you with the money I promised and hopefully that can help you pursue your interests."
Evelyn stands to leave and follow Grindal out but as Averet mentions magic and portals to other dimensions, she stops and looks at him curiously. Instead of leaving, she leans against the door frame and watches him as he speaks to the Margrave.
When he leaves, she turns to leave as well but makes a look of realisation and clicks her fingers. Turning back, she asks the Margrave"Is there any means of transport that you can arrange for us, or are we going to have to do that ourselves?"
Averet makes a face of defeat before nodding politely. "I guess I'll be heading off then with the others." He says before giving a bow to each individual still in the room.
Outside the building, Averet cautiously approaches the two men waiting outside. With a hint of nervousness in his tone of voice, he says "I-it's nice to be working with both of you. I know a few techniques with my trusty shortsword and I can also provide support from a distance with magic. Here's to hoping that we can all achieve success in this task."
Averet than adjusts his uniform under the red cloak before reaching out his hand to both Wilick and Grindal gesturing a handshake while forcing upon himself a smile.

"The name's Wilick,"he says with abrupt efficiency as he shakes the half-elf's hand. "I guess we better get moving if we are all here."Wilick turns to head toward the edge of town without much more to say.

Averet bluntly follows, trailing behind him with his head down, ocassionally looking at the scenery presented to him.
"Sir Wilick, this may be an odd question to ask but could you tell where we are? What country is this and how far are we from Aaum?"
Evelyn stands to leave and follow Grindal out but as Averet mentions magic and portals to other dimensions, she stops and looks at him curiously. Instead of leaving, she leans against the door frame and watches him as he speaks to the Margrave.

"I trust that you can arrange transport for yourselves; my resources are all preoccupied at the moment."
(OOC: Those of you familiar with the area would know that travel to the Turst Fields from Westruun would take about a week on foot)
Evelyn nods and does a shallow bow at the Margeave before finally leaving the office and joining the group. Walking alongside Shadow, she turns to him and answers his question. "I do, I use to live around the area. It's about a weeks travel on foot. My name is Evelyn, by the way. Evelyn Bhade. It's nice to meet you all." She gives the group a kind smile and extends her hand to Shadow to shake.
“A week of walking? At least by the end we will be familiar with the land. I am happy to scout with Saraa and seek along the way. I am sure there will be plenty of fowl and small game.”
Not particularly wanting to press on anything else with their generous employer, Xebrek follows the others out with a simple nod. As they are discussing, he ponders outloud. "Lycanthropy sounds like a bothersome thing to truly locate. If what I have heard of that... affliction, is correct, then they are forced to change under the full view of the silvery moon."
(DM, can I make a Religion check in order to work out if there are any cults or particular deities that revere werecreatures that might be relevent? Will place roll in spoiler.)
@pokepaladdy The only thing you can think of is a group of adventurers you've heard stories about that call themselves the Order of the Lycan. But from what you've heard they train to harness their Lycanthropic curse and use it when necessary to fight monsters. You aren't familiar with their methods but you haven't ever heard of them attacking innocent people.
2 people can make a Nature check about lycanthropes if you want
"Bah. Ain't like I got much choice in the matter," Grindal offers as introductions are made. The old dwarf has been around for a long time, and he tries to recall what he can about lycanthropes.
Shadow looks at the offered hand from Evelyn for a moment, and then offers his right hand to shake hers, "Good to meet you and the others, and if you were wondering about my skills if we need information I can usually find it," and then with a wicked grin, showing a bit too many sharpened teeth, "or extract it."
"A week huh, looks like we need some mounts, if I am not mistaken we should head to the Market Ward, southeast of here. I doubt we can afford any Plainscows, as much as that would be nice for our lot, I am sure we can acquire some horse's on the cheap."
Grindal: You recall that individuals cursed by lycanthropy do indeed often turn to their beast form under a full moon. But you also know that some have gained some control over their affliction and are able to change shapes at will between a humanoid form, a beast form, and a third hybrid form that is something in between. You also have been told to avoid bites from lycanthropes because that is how the curse can be spread.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Wilick tries to recall what he may have hear about lycanthropy. He always saw it as a condition, not an affliction. Not that he was willing to give himself to it any time soon.
"Regardless, I think we should get into finding something to shed light on this matter." Xebrek looks to the others. "Oh, we should probably introduce one another. My name's Xebrek, I work as one of the many hands of The Changebringer. It is nice to meet you all."
