A putrid stream flows along this sewer tunnel, which leads in two directions. In one direction, you see a tiny symbol drawn on the wall in yellow chalk: a palm-sized circle with ten equidistant spokes radiating out from its circumference.
Offering a quick prayer to Bahamut, and wincing as the stench stings his nostrils Shaddin send a small stream of fire from his lips to light a torch, and grips his glaive in one hand. He looks around at this rag tag band of adventurers and says,
"Hmm, are any of you good at scouting? Unfortunately the order doesn't train us to find the enemies of Bahamut just strike them down once the scouts locate them!"
"Wow it is ripe down here. I mean it's worse than my Uncle Dale when he....well never mind about that, ha. But no Shadinn, I can't scout to save my life, which I guess is the point here. Best I can do is throw some sounds down the way and see if we catch anyone's attention. But have a look at this symbol, have you guys seen anything like it before?"
(Can I do a history check on the symbol? History 11 )
"Eh I could do this" Lassodon says as a crab crawls out of his coat and starts scuttling down the sewers looking 100 feet in front of them "Ell tell me if he sees anything up in front of us
(Crab Perception: 6 Also apparently dnd crabs have 30 ft blindsight )

After an hour of following signs through the tunnels, you come to a three-way intersection where a ladder leads up into a stone shaft capped by a circular metal cover. One of the familiar chalk symbols is marked on a wall nearby, and floating near the symbol is a spherical, grapefruit-sized creature with a bulging central eye and four stumpy eyestalks. It bares its teeth at you.
"Well this looks intriguing, I wonder what it is. But something tells me that words aren't going to do much in this situation. Man that's a lot of eyes. Hey why don't we get one of those?"
Gimble casts Minor Illusion and creates the same creature, complete with it baring its teeth at the real one. I'd like it to be on the opposite side of the creature so that it is seen and appears surrounded or flanked.
Keeping an eye on the creature, Gimble says, "Alrighty big guy how bout we quickly move in the direction we need to go while it seems taken in by his new friend? Which way is the sign pointing?"
It is indeed blocking your way, and it drifts backwards and fires a ray at Shaddin! Make a Strength save and everyone roll for init (and everything else you gotta do)
"Yeah let's get going. I'll show you the grate I saw back this way"
Gimble turn she and starts walking away.
Shaddin quickly checks everything is in place, and moves after Gimble

Jonas bares his teeth right back.
Shadinn Glares at the strange creature, offers a prayer to Bahamut and reaches out with his senses.
"What manner of creatures is this? Magical or some sort of tiny fiend sent by the demons from the pit?"
(Devine sense)
It is of neither of those types, the creature just seems relieved to see another of it's kind, and it seems unphased by Tamu
Keeping an eye on the creature, Gimble says, "Alrighty big guy how bout we quickly move in the direction we need to go while it seems taken in by his new friend? Which way is the sign pointing?"
Not turning away from the thing Jonas will start to sidestep. "Do we need to go around it or is it blocking the way we should travel? "
It is indeed blocking your way, and it drifts backwards and fires a ray at Shaddin! Make a Strength save and everyone roll for init (and everything else you gotta do)
Initiative 20
Jonas will advance and attack. Attack: 10 Damage: 10
"Well I guess this guy just doesn't want to be friendly. Soooo here we go. And guys I think I found a source of some of this stink down here."

(I can't currently access my page to see anything I can add to rolls for any of these so can you please add those for my rolls?)
