Elise is just looking for a place to get a warm loaf of bread and some cheese. When she spots a vendor in the market who is selling both of those things, she requests that Amris follows her. "Ah! There it is. Come Amris, let's see if that silver tongue of yours can get us a good deal."

Those interested in purchasing goods should make an Opposed Haggle Test with the vendor in question. I will be rolling for the vendor, with a Haggle Skill of 40, so after you roll, I roll, then we compare Success Levels. If you win, the purchased item can be bought at the HAGGLE PRICE on the sheet.
"Yes, of course," Amris says as he happily follows behind Elise to the stall in question, taking a deep inhale of the delicious scent of freshly baked bread before trying to work his silver tongue to get them a discount.

Ok! Nice! Amris rolls a 21 against 48. That's +2 Success Levels. So, since this is an Opposed Test, the vendor has a Haggle of 40 and I have to try and beat +2 SL. Let's see what we get.
Oh no yeh don't! That's prime quality, Elf! Haggle: 64
The vendor's Haggle is 40, and I failed with -0 SL. Amris wins the test with a total SL of +2! Which is a solid success.
“A pleasure doing business with you.” Amris bows respectfully to the vendor as he takes the now wrapped cheese and bread, then turns to Elise and hands the goods to her. “Was that all you needed, dear?”

Coming back after a while, Ferdinand tries to minimize his absence. - "I turned in an alley and ended up on the other end of the Marketplatz." - looking around and seeing his companions got ahead and purchased some goods now wrapped in their arms. - "Ah, Amris! Got us some snacks. Ever our salvation with good deals. I was actually wondering, how do elves feel in the cities made by men? What are the differences you find in the way these cities are built in opposition to elven towers, fortress and cities?" - glancing around noticing one of them is missing. - "But where is Salundra?" - suddenly worried, his eyes race around the stalls, the people and a grown marks his expression.
Ok! At this point, I'd like everyone to make a Simple Perception Test. Remember, for a simple Test, all you have to do is roll lower than your Perception Skill - Success Levels won't matter in this case. I'll explain what happens based on the results.

Those who passed:Gunnar, you suddenly hear the sounds of a brawl over the hubbub of the crowds, you can see it - a massive crowd of travelling entertainers dressed in bright clothes and various townsfolk seemingly displeased with their latest performance. The fray quickly spreads like wildfire, pulling in all who are nearby, including you all! You find yourselves swiftly surrounded by furious folk and their flailing fists! You can see brightly painted wagons to the side of the market besides a raised wooden stage. A sign that reads "Betse Wooster's Wondrous Cavalcade!" hangs above this.
Those who failed: You suddenly find yourselves caught in a massive brawl! You are caught completely unaware, and are all Surprised: You cannot act in the first round of combat!
As soldiers in Altdorf livery attempt to resotre order, the disorder swiftly becomes a riot as the soliders are pounded on by angry folk from both sides. Soon, cries of "Altdorf scum!" and "Jungfreud bootlicker!" are audible above the din.
Our character have been caught up in a wild brawl of fist and foot! When combat begins, we zoom into the action, and give each Character a Turn to do something every Round, using dice to determine who gets hurt, and who doesn't.
INITIATIVE
To determine the Turn order, combatants compare their Initiative (I) Characteristics, and act from highest to lowest. So, with that being said, here is the Initiative order for those who are playing:
Amris (I 56) Gunnar (I 34) Ferdinand (I 32) Brawling Horde (I 30) Elise (I 29)
However, those with the Surprisedcondition cannot act on the first round of combat, so now we have this:
Amris (I 56) Surprised Gunnar (I 34) Ferdinand (I 32) Surprised Brawling Horde (I 30) Elise (I 29) Surprised
The Surprised condition goes away at the start of round two. On your turn, you can perform a Move and/or an Action. Don't worry too much about Move for this starter adventure, we'll just keep it a little abstract. However, an Action is defined as anything you need to make a Characteristic or Skill check for - like attacking.
FIGHTING
When a character wants to attack an opponent, they perform a Weapons Skill (WS) Testfor melee attacks, or Ballistic Skill (BS) Tests for ranged attacks. Melee attacks are always Opposed Tests, unless the defender is Unconscious or Surprised. The defender uses their WS or Dodge Skillto oppose the attack. If the attackers scores more SL than the defender, it's a successful hit. Ranged attacks Dramatic Skill Tests but are unopposed, and hit of the Character passes a BS Test - that's all!
If the attack hits, you reverse the dice roll (so, a 25 becomes a 52) and the GM determines the hit location. The attack deals an amount of Damage equal to the Test's SL + the weapons Damage + the attackers Strength Bonus (the tens digit of your Strength Characteristic, so 4 on a 43, for example) for melee attacks. This damage is reduced by the defenders Toughness bonus + any armor on the hit location. Any excess is reduced from Wounds.
I will explain this all more clear when we begin, but for now, Gunnar can attack!
NOTE/WARNING:Everyone is fighting with fist and foot, no weapons or magic. Killing someone with blade would be highly frowned upon. Magic is rare in this world, it is feared and untrusted by most of the common folk - and not recommended to use for this combat.
So, it's time to knocks some heads!! Punching and kicking is a Dramatic Opposed WS Test. If you hit, add your SL to your Strength Bonus to determine damage. If you wish to get out of the fight, you must make three successful Simple Dodge tests in a row.

Gunnar quickly steps in front of Ferdinand to protect him, whilst punching one of the nearest horde members:
WS (45): 81
....annnnnnnnnd that's a crappy miss-by-a-mile.
Cool check (67): 89
After whiffing his punch, Gunnar lets out a loud belch and then yells out to Ferdinand: "So I's at the tavern the other day, with Amris and Salundra....and a fly lands in Amris' drink. He sighs, pushing the drink away and orders another. A different fly lands in Salundra's drink. He uses the end of a dagger to remove the insect and carries on drinking. A third fly lands in my drink. So I carefully plucks the fly from me drink and shout 'Spit it out!'" He then continues to laugh hysterically at his own joke.
