Jay isn't really caring much about their wellbeing as they are not his allies in particular, but there is something of a curiosity that is hidden beneath about who they work for, how their ecosystem is managed, and the likes.
Paren follow behind Vok and Tyler as they discuss the route that's being taken. Something seems off about it all, but he can't quite place it given his unfamiliarity with the place. Finally, Paren calls on his connection with his god to help guide him. He feels a strong desire to head toward the center of what seems to be this kobold town like he's being called to it. This is only reinforced when he attempts to sense the presence of anything consecrated or desecrated.
Paren continues to find that the gods are not speaking to him. It's a rather empty feeling considering all that he's discussed with them over the past few weeks. He looks to his holy symbol with a sense of angst hoping that he's one day able to commune with them again.
Paren lifts up a hand in the direction of the centre of the kobold dwellings. "I'm a little lost in all of this but I'm getting the sense that we need to go that way. I don't know what it is but something is there."

Jay pauses for a second, thinking something over as his dead gaze watches the kobold leading them. After a few seconds he continues walking quietly with the others.
Vok seems to be telling the truth about a cave in. "My people are very skilled with dealing with such environments. I'm not so sure you'd do well given your size. I can take you to the start of it, but It's not my fault if you all get crushed. Understand?"
Paren shrugs in response. "If I die so be it. Maybe my friends will find a more worthy sentinel to join them next time." He points off in the direction again. "Lead the way, please."

The kobold nods with reluctance. As the group moves closer to the central part of the internal compound, the number of kobolds increases by large margins and these kobolds look to be much tougher than those on the exterior portions of the area. When the group reaches a caved in tunnel, Vok looks to them and says, "This is as far as I go. I'll wait here. If you're not back in an hour, I'll just assume you died." He sweeps his arm in a grand gesture, "Good luck."
Before you is a tunnel made of similar stone that was found down in the cellar of the castle. The passage way is mostly blocked due to fallen stones that caved in. It's unclear how safe the passageway is, but you know that you will need to be quite careful navigating the tight passages that contain plenty of jagged stone.
Paren,
can sense that the presence of his god coming from the collapsed tunnel like a faint breeze.
Falaine would most certainly be able to shift into a creature more suitable to deal with the passage. She would still face the same threats of collapse and must remain vigilant. She would also need to figure out what direction to go and it was unclear what waited for them deeper inside of the tunnels.
"Something is here. I can feel the presence of Lugh, sort of like at the grove. If you can find a way through Falaine then I will wait for you but I need to get in there at some point and I don't know of anything to do for that except dig."

Paren can feel himself shifting into weighlessness like he's never experienced before. It's rather discomforting until he realizes he's still able to move though a bit slower than normal. He looks to his hands but finds that there only only wisps of a strange looking gas. He reaches for his pack but finds there is nothing there but this new form. He tries to speak but no words form on his missing lips. With only an hour until this fades, he knows he must complete the task quickly or be somewhere safe when his original form ends.
Paren is very confused at his new form but Falaine's insistence gets him moving forward into the rubble. He's not quite sure the best way to move in this form but settles on using his arms like he's swimming, not knowing if this actually helps or not.

Paren passes through crushed tunnels for quite some time where there is little room for anyone to make it past except possibly the smallest creatures and they would still likely cause the rocks to stir resulting in even further collapse. Paren follows the calling of his god as the tunnels fork and split. He's completely lost in all of the mess of the cave in, but follows the divine presence like a lighthouse on a foggy sea. He finally comes to a doorway that blocks his path any further. He goes to attempt to open the door but realizes he lacks hands to do so.
He looks at the door and finds many cracks from the passage of time. Taking a deep breath, he squeezes through the tiniest gap until all of his form finally passes beyond the doorway. Quite some time has passed by now but Paren has found a large undisturbed chamber that seems to have been protected from the nearby collapse. The stone work here seems to be consistant with that of the stone in the cellar leading Paren to believe this room was known to the original builders. At the center of the room is a large stone obelisk that shines in the darkness with a slight shimmer. Paren can feel a very strong connection to his god here in this room very similar to when he was at the grove so many days ago.
Paren moves to get as close as he can to the obelisk, trying to memorize the symbols along the side and determine if it's for Lugh or Mervielle. He's also trying to see if there is anything connecting the circle to the obelisk that the Duke could disable to shut down the circle without destroying things.

When Falaine casts the spell on Paren and his form turns into a mist, Tanni watches as he begins to push through the rubble. She crosses her arms and nods approvingly to Falaine. "That's a nifty trick, very useful in tunnels like these."

Paren would also like to use his Divine Sense to see if he can get an idea or sense of where the obelisk may be if there is one.

Vok looks at Paren with hesitation. "There's nothing that way. Old rubble from a cave in. It's very dangerous."
Paren is a little suspicious of the kobold still. Insight: 19
"Well, I think if anything is here it's that way. Is there danger of further cave in if I go and see for myself?"
