Seeing as we're here hunting for goblins, and Rilvar's just freed himself from a goblin snare and therefore feeling less than kindly disposed towards goblins, instead of earlier responses/actions, Rilvar will take a shot at it.

Attack: 25 Damage: 5

As the new guy takes aim at the struggling pair (I believe the tiefling and goblin are currently wrestling anyway...)  Misty would try to disrupt the shot.

"Hey, you might hit one of us!"  misty shouts, trying to knock off the aim of the arrow at the same time.  She has no idea if this guy is good enough to hit the goblin and not her friend, as they are struggling.

(OOC: what do you want me to roll for this?)

(OOC: since we are doing the goblin event thing, Boo is the only one who can see Hymnal stealthing, Hymnal hasn't disguised self yet. does Boo say anything to the party about Hymnal approaching the party in a stealthing manner?)

(OOC:Sorry, I believe we were all going by the posts already made, and just keeping those actions.  In that Boo told everyone about the transforming thing coming up behind them.  If you instead want us to start fresh, then I am ok with that as well.)

 When rolls are involved i have to say what did and did not happen, so we are starting from the top of the hymnal goblin situation, since hymnal was stealthing to the group, so far only boo has seen hymnal, if Boo says nothing then hymnal has successfully snuck up on the party, Hymnal has had the time to cast disguise self to be a goblin, so that part of the old rp is on pause until i get a reaction.

 yes, right now, the party defeated the goblin ambush, 3 of the 8 goblins fled the battle, the party investigated the ambush site, discovered a dirt trail behind the bushes and trees the goblins ambushed from and is currently following the trail, rilvar was leading the party and stepped in a trap, he managed to cut himself out and land safely. nothing else has happened yet.

Isn't he a little tall for a goblin?

(OOC: since Boo hasn't made a post, i will use his old post for this situation)

(Out of the corner of his eye, Boo sees the figure moving about the woods. "Hmm, Boo sees something. A creature, it is? Yes! It is!" He will say, loud enough for the whole group the hear.)

Boo alerts the party to Hymnal's presence

(OOC: feel free to post new actions based on this. [order doesn't matter since no rolls are involved, since Boo alerted the party the stealth Hymnal was doing fails])

Edmond -  Hymnal is that you?  That was good, keeping us on our toes.  :)  Shall we continue on?

In an instant, Mawk the goblin is enveloped in silvery mists, growing into a vaguely humanoid shape a little larger than a dwarf with a long prehensile tail and legs that don't bend quite the right way. The mists vanish with a puff, revealing the familiar feline form of Chasing Hymnal. He is grinning ear to tufted ear, and says with a strange high chuckle:

"Mrrraw-ha-ha-ha-hee-hee-hee! Did Hymnal fool all of you?"

 Rilvar will turn to Edmond, "One of yours?"

 the previous disguise self did not happen, you can try casting it now after boo alerted the party to your presence.

Now that Boo has alerted the party, Hati now dives down and crashes into the person (regardless of what they look like). He attempts to pin them underneath him with his wings and blade.

Athletics: 15

Regardless of he gets pinned or not, Hati will call out to the party, "Can I kill this one?"

Before Boo alerts the party, like before, I cast Disguise Self and become Mawk the goblin before I am seen and Hati pins me.

(OOC: How does this change the sequence of events? Would Edmond have to re-roll his Insight? Do I need to roll Deception again?)

Edmond to Hymnal: That was pretty good, buddy :)

and to to Rilvar and the group: Yes, this is Hymnal, he's with us.  And if you ever wanted to practice fighting hand to hand just ask him :) Shall we move up the trail some more?

Hymnal shifts a bit under Hati, then looks up at him, saying, "You can let Hymnal go, now; there are many other strange and wonderful things in the world to stab other than him. Let's go find them, hey?"

Persuasion: 18

Hati stares down at Hymnal for a bit longer then huffs, sheathing his blade and getting off him. Not waiting for the new person to get up, he coldly states, "You hurt us, and I'll kill you." before taking of to return to his spot up in the air.

Hymnal stands up, not bothering to dust himself off--not out of laziness, but with the knowledge that it really wouldn't make a difference at this point. With his colorful threadbare clothes, exotic adornments, awkward proportions, and unwashed pelt, he looks exactly the way you remember him--like he may have run away from the circus instead of to it. Sizable red eyes--almost black, but liquid and bright like a deer--regard you all with unending mirth and curiosity, then he turns his gaze skyward.

"Hymnal thinks that the scary wolf-bat man is still mad at him for skimming his ale when he wasn't looking."
