Gniff grimaces fromt he hit he takes but grits his teeth. He is in a bad spot and he knows it but relief is in that same stature the bandits labeled him with. He loosens up and prepares to Dodge and uses his "Halfling Nimbleness" to squeeze past Bandit 1 and end his turn beside the goblin, provoking Opportunity Attacks from Bandits 3 and 4.
"You don't have to take that from them," he briefly says to the goblin in common as he spins around and confronts the group.

How big is this room? Misty is considering casting thunderwave, but wants to keep from hitting her companions and one of them is across the room. How far is Gniff from Misty if she moves up to melee range with RD1 as suggested, then casts thunderwave? It affects the 3 X 3 squares directly in front of Misty, since she would be casting it in that direction. She would hope to knock those blocking the door back into the room. Guess I should also ask where the cowering goblin is as well, so as not to take him out as well.

Gniff and the goblin are in the back of the room. if sildar moved out of the way you could cast thunder wave from where you are and only hit bandits. for your turn if you want, you can as a free action warn sildar to move out of the way, hold your action, to cast thunder wave, until sildars turn is complete, and then cast thunder wave.
