I voted for Descent into Avernus. It is so new that I doubt many people have played it. I love the Baldur's Gate setting too, ever since I played the old computer games in the 90's. Plus, I'm already playing a Rogue Pirate in a Ghosts of Saltmarsh campaign.

The problem with most of these is they start out at level 1. I've had so many campaigns die while my character hasn't yet reached level 4. Mad Mage starts at level 5. Can we do Mad Mage?
Well it depends on what the people want. For example, if I end up recruiting for multiple, I might start a bit higher level on the second (for example, DotMM/RoT start at higher levels, if I run a non-module campaign I can start at whatever level I want to, etc.)

Hoping that BG3 will live up to its predecessors. Who knows, they might even let you import your old school 2E char into this new game (wishes with 9th spell slot :-p ).
I voted for the Dark Sun settings since it was one of my favorite settings together with Dragonlance (I was a bit sad since it was not included in the poll...), but I will set for a classical Forgotten Realms campaign too (Descent into Avernus/Out of the Abyss /Storm King's Thunder ).

I mainly omitted Dragonlance because I've never owned any of the books or followed up on its lore outside of very basic surface research. I know if I ended up running one with lore fans it would make plenty of points contrasting with "canon". Then again, DMs decide how things go, and if it strays from canon, it's then an AU campaign.

No problem Pokepaladdy, I understand. I will definitively apply for a Dark Sun or Forgotten Realms campaign, I'm looking forward to see the final results of the polls.
A campaign in Greyhawk might be interesting. With the classic feel it has, trying it 5e seems exciting. Also I agree with one of the posts above. Starting at 1st level feels a little repetitive, and exploration of these settings at a higher level might be something more refreshing.

Greyhawk is one of my weaker knowledge areas. I started as 3.5 was ending and 4e was starting, so Nentir Vale took the centre stage for a time, but I have looked through some things. If it does end up being one of the campaigns, I'll have to read up on it.
To let people know, the poll will be closed on Monday morning (October 14th) so there's still chance for the polls to change!
Currently Descent into Avernus/Homebrew/Forgotten Realms are leading, with Ghosts of Saltmarsh, Dragon Heist, and Dungeon of the Mad Mage not too far behind. Someone showed some love for Nentir Vale (so every option has a vote now!), but we'll see by the end of the week.
Nentir Vale sounds so peaceful.. Never heard of it before though.
It's kinda like Greyhawk Lite. It has the town of Fallcrest rather than Hommlet, etc. Can be fairly dark due to all the evil cults etc. Was the main setting of 4th edition and the first half of the Acquisitions Inc. podcasts/PAX Lives took place there (until they migrated to D&D Next/5e)
Good to see you back at it bud! I'm down to fill a slot in any game you need, been wanting to try out a Grave Domain Cleric, preferable at a higher level than 1 but I'll gladly fill wherever.
Thanks everyone for all your votes. It's good to see that people are ready to play some games and there is a nice diversity with things that people want to play. Given that there are two main contenders for what to run based on the results I'm happy to say I am planning on setting up two new games and will be setting up recruitment threads for them tomorrow.
Baldur's Gate: Descent Into Avernus
Homebrew Campaign (notes will be on the recruitment thread)
When the threads are up and running, I'll post links on this thread.

Fingers crossed :)
I just thought, the novelty should have make that campaign number one from the start.

I've ticked a couple of options....but love homebrew too.
Keen to get on a pbp campaign, so look forward to you posting the recruitment thread :)
Definitely interested in Descent. Joined one recently and was gutted when DM went AWOL.

Welcome back! I haven't played Descent or Storm King's Thunder, but I'd be up for playing anything.
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
I'm up for anything. Haven't done any pbp before, but I want to try it out, so anything is good with me
So far this session I have hit my teammates twice, flat-out missed 3 times, and only hit the enemy twice. Trust me, you don't want to borrow my dice.
It's been a while poke! Good to see you back
