Name: Aga
Race: Shifter
Class: Fighter
Background: Nobel
Backstory: Aga comes from a large, forest forging tribe of barbarians called the Ioka. Once every hundred births, the tribes' shaman will hoose those amongst them who will be the best fit to be the leader of the tribe. Of those hundred, five were chosen. Aga being the fifth. From that day on, each of the chosen would train tirelessly day in and day out, until their twenty-third birthday. On this day, they set out t explore their world around them, but not before receiving a task from the shamans. In the thickest jungle laid a fire, where all the chosen sat and waited. The first chosen saw their task in the flames; To treck through the shadowfell. The second was to slay a king. The third was to experience death. The fourth to travel to another plane. All the chosen who received their tasks have gone, leaving Aga alone, patiently waiting. As time passed, the fire grew and grew. To the point where the trees were engulfed in flames. It became hard to breath. She was going to die. She got up and ran from the fire, but she didn't know what her task was. She glanced back, only to be dwarfed by a giant, flaming beast. She dashed to a clearing and stopped to catch her breath. Though she wasn't sure how, but it was in her gut. She knew her mission: To slay a great beast.
Name: Olin Gisir Class: Cleric (Nature) Race: Wood Elf Backstory: Will fill this out soon, but very basic concept is a wood elf from the Misty Forest who wanders between the surrounding settlements (Daggerford, Secomber, even Dragonspear Castle when it isn't overrun by evil) offering nature-cleric services to all and sundry. Really is spying for the wood elves who live there, making sure no one has plans to encroach on the forest.
Meepo grew up on the streets of Waterdeep, being bossed around by anyone bigger than himself, which was pretty much everyone. He lived a meager existence, just surviving and little else. One day he met a wizard while in the City of the Dead for other reasons, and managed to be the last survivor of his crew from an unrelated encounter. The wizard was looking for someone to do odd jobs for him and took Meepo on as a minion. Over the time Meepo spent serving this wizard he picked up bits and pieces of wizardly lore, enough to eventually take up that mantel for himself.
Lucius Kane was a cheap downtown investigator in Waterdeep when an ancient tome fell into his possession. Inscribed in it’s pages were the writings of a warlock, bestowing Kane with immense eldritch power, but with this knowledge came a terrible price. From the moment he set eyes on the bloodstained pages, Kane’s soul was forfeit to Asmodeus.
Now Kane walks the dark roads of Faerun, his soul in chains, selling his skills as an investigator and his knowledge of the arcane in exchange for a cheap beer.

Name - Byron Fairchilde
Race - Wood Elf
Class - Rogue
Background - Urchin
Backstory - Byron traces his lineage back to a small community of forest elves that were forced to integrate into a nearby community due to an illness that devastated the nearby wildlife in the area. His parents spent decades working whatever odd jobs they could find in hopes of saving enough money to survive the city life and advance their fortunes to give a stable life for Byron. Try as they might, however, the city always took more from them than it gave.
Seeing the hardship his parents endured in an attempt to give him a better life Byron decided to take a different path in an attempt to give them what they couldn't give him, stability. He took to taking what he needed instead of working for it; stealing whatever his family needed in order to live a more comfortable life. Eventually, he decided to offer his services to perform odd jobs of a more lucrative nature - working for a local adventuring guild. His first mission would lead him here.
Experience - Never played any campaign before. I've played a couple of PBP games on Discord before, but those were all homebrew adventures.
