(It's the Beholders turn first, he disintegrated it with a ray at the end of Meepo's turn technically.)
Then you said he was sending a ray at Lionel, so I was just posting Meepo's turn. You can place the ice wall in whenever it works, just not going to be online too much longer.

Would be a waste not to, an attack seems reasonable.
Attack: 18 Damage: 10

Lionel did not die, not did he dropped to the ground - but the necrotic energy seemed like sucking up all the colors out of his body - pale but nevertheless angry angel was still there.

Lionel lands a massive blow against the creature as the shield dissolves, the bright flash of holy energy tearing into the beholders body. Though the beholder likewise zaps him with some fearsome lifesucking energy.
The creature, wobbling from the blow, unleashes three more blasts at Lionel:
19101
The first blast strikes Lionel... Enervation Ray. The targeted creature must make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw, taking25necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Then the second...Disintegration Ray. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or take 43 force damage. If this damage reduces the creature to 0 hit points, its body becomes a pile of fine gray dust.
Then the third....Death Ray. The targeted creature must succeed on a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or take 43 necrotic damage. The target dies if the ray reduces it to 0 hit points.
(Probably worth pointing out Mordekai's Gift of the Protectors feature for Lionel's benefit at this point:
"When any creature whose name is on the page is reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, the creature magically drops to 1 hit point instead. Once this magic is triggered, no creature can benefit from it until you finish a long rest.")

((A very good reminder! Though, two of the rays explicitly state final death. Now, I need a moment to say the proper goodbye))
He could not run. Not physically - that was always possible, but he would not be who he is if he did. Meepo was still here, Ulthan could wander in at any moment - and if Lionel would not give them that moment, Mordenkainen should not have bothered restoring him to life back there, in Barovia, he would not be worth it. Lionel just hoped the others will use the time well. He looked the big Eye straight into eye. Paladine willing, he would survive that blast of death rays and if not - then his oath was never accepted and he played his role in this world to its end.
Three ray struck almost simultaneously, enveloping the glimmering figure in the sickening greenish-black light.
(Saves: 24 , 12 , 20 )
He felt the strikes - and yet, he was alive still. Lionel did not know for how long, but the monster have not win yet!
((The rays say if you fall to 0 then death, the book says you don’t fall to 0 but to 1 instead. At least that’s my interpretation.))
“Well the obvious, of course,” Ketch answers. “Tried touching it again, but nope. Tried several different teleportation means, but those were useless as well. There’s two schools of magic on the window, painting if you prefer... Conjuration and Abjuration. I assume the Abjuration weave is what is stopping our exit and tried to dispel it, I came up empty there as well...”
Meepo creates the wall of ice. he makes it so the wall intersects with the beholder, it has to do a DC 16 Dex save or take 39 cold damage. Then it is pushed to one side, away from Lionel and enclosed in a prison of ice.

The powerful blasts of death energy shimmer all around the holy warrior, whose glowing eyes and wings seem to almost go out under the onslaught of the creatures rays....but then hit light blazes back to life....and Lionel looks unharmed by the killing rays!
Lionel's action. And then Meepo's wall of ice will go off. (but I already rolled the save, so I'm going to keep it's result posted here)
Lionel, your action.
Meepo is then quick to point his staff, and a sphere of ice ripples into existence, anchored to the ceiling of the room. The ice slashes into the beholder as it shoves it inside the sphere that is stuck clinging to the ceiling.
14 The Beholder is covered in frost and ice as it's shoved into the sphere.

Ulthan, this round you end up running all the way back into the building and are part way into the entrance hall. Next round you'll reach the ballroom again.
Ketch stands about. Mordekai, you can act if you wish.
The Beholder, once again behind a wall, shivering with ice, growls and lets out 2 more legendary action blasts at the ice wall before his turn. (at the end of Meepo's turn, after the wall of ice is done, and after Ulthan's turn)

Then, it's turn comes around, and it unleashes three more blasts at the ice wall on it's turn.

Half the ice sphere gets blasted apart and the Beholder moves through the gap, staring at Meepo with its main eye, though it fires it's last eye ray at Lionel... The creature looks badly wounded. Burned from a fireball, two horrid gaping arrow wounds, a nasty slash from Lionel, and half it's body covered in frost and looking partially frozen.
Lionel : The targeted creature must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature begins to turn to stone and is restrained. It must repeat the saving throw at the end of its next turn. On a success, the effect ends. On a failure, the creature is petrified until freed by the greater restoration spell or other magic.
Mordekai asks Ketch and Quill, "Have you tried to damage the stuff? Any different types of damage, perhaps?"
"Not sure about Quill, but I didn't want to break the only way out..." Ketch says and then quickly steps back out of the way when Mordekai casts his spell.
Meepo raises his staff and creates a wall of ice around the beholder...
