The Valley of Ends

"These are additions made by the currently owner. I can not change them by myself in any way," The servant states. 

Salys sighs, "Could you at least read them to me? I don't like the idea of signing something I can't read."

"Souls of the vanquished may not leave this dimension. Vanquished should not enter the Residence. The Servant duties are to follow the commands of Ergion and only them. My creator gave me a set of basic commands which Ergion overridden. Unseen servants are expelled from the Manor," the servant explains. 

Salys thinks for a moment, "If I become master, then I could overwrite his commands?"

"Of course" the servant explains.

Salys will shrug, then sign the document.

"Thank you. You now are the master of the Residence," The servant states before another scroll appears from nowhere in his hand," These are the most basic functions,"

Salys will try and summon back in all the spirits from outside, and then go looking for the others. When he gets back there, "So I think we can release that lady now, anyone want to come with me? Oh, by the way, we have a house now, sort of."

Erasing the commands and writing his own in, Salys looks around to find anything changes really.

"The restriction of movement has been released. We do not control how the spirit will moves but they are free to do as they wishes, stay orleave," The servant states, "If there are any changes you wish to make, I will bring the deed to you," The scroll with layout and commands rolls back and disappears among the servant's person quick as a flash. The desk fades away as Salys hops off and head for his allies. The scroll holding functions in hand. 

Answering Onyx Resfaen states, "I seek no knowledge from that fallen heathen, he knows nothing I would want to hear."

When Slays comes back, "This is good to know, we now have a place of safety to rest and move people to safety if the need arises. This is good news. We can not get rid of any undead ghosts that are left so they can continue on their proper journey and be done with the living."

 "That's great, but we should do some redecorating. I'll come with you to say goodbye to Lady Temariel."

Gotch would find this all quite interesting.  He would return to the library to look through there some more,a nd to have another, closer look at the book he had found earlier.

long story short. the book Gotch earlier is a Manual of Golems for a Flesh golem. 

Just before the time of his pocket dimension is up, Onyx will signal everyone to climb outside before they fall out. He will then search the boddy of Ergion for a memorandum, a weapon or a trinket, maybe a holly symbol. Investigation: 4

After that he will sit down for another few minutes to meditate over the Lantern.

From several location spots around the Residence, party members sees the occasion ghost or spirit peeks in from walls, roof or floor before popping out of sight once more but as times passes, the frequency decreases. After an hour, those win the rope trip hole emerges climbing down the rope before it fades away.

What does the party do after their short rest then? 

Onyx finds a very banged up and damaged holy symbol but don't recognizes the deity it represent.

After his meditation Onyx will get up , looking a bit disappointed and regroup with the others. (In the prison, releasing Temariel?)

Lady Temariel wants her bones to be buried under a tree to rest in peace and dont think anyone left he Residence. 

Resfaen will reverently gather the bones of the Lady, wrapping then in a blanket she will grab from the bedroom and place them in her backpack for when they travel out of the residence. "We are ready to go when the group is." Then she will look around, "Is there any particular tree or if you find one you like let me know. I will honor your last request so long as you promise to leave this world to the living."

"Oh yea, Gotch, next time we have a moment, can you detect magic on this Battleaxe we found in here. I think it was done before but I can;t remember the result. Either way it is not a high priority right now, it can wait." Resfaen asks.
