Dia wakes next to Tora and smiles as she sees the woman is still fast asleep, purring slightly. The smile fades fast as she remembers she's in this damn filthy Rivermouth Inn. Maybe this was the nearest civilization to their forest camp, but that didn't mean she had to like it. Dia allows herself a brief, wistful sigh as she remembers the massive, soft bed that Olivia enjoyed every night. The next moment, she dismisses the moment of weakness. She made her sacrifice willingly, and soon she'd never have to deal with places like this again. Unless she wanted to, of course...there were certain...opportunities to be found in the filth.
Speaking of such things, it was high time she got started on those opportunities. Dia rolls out of bed and dresses quickly. A black tunic and leggings, both of fine cut. A pentagram on a strip of black fabric that goes around her neck. With a self-satisfied smile, she slips her earrings in, the inverted symbol of the Creed far less of a statement than it would be on another person. But Dia's red eyes and the two horns curving up above her head already place her beyond doubt as something that the Creed would be horrified to see. A pair of rimless glasses complete the ritual. She might not need them anymore, but the glasses provide a certain air of sophistication. And in a fight, so much better if her enemy is wasting time trying to knock them off. Dressed, Dia smiles and heads for the door. Tora would know she was downstairs when the other woman woke. And Dia wanted to see what opportunities this particular den of filth had provided.
Dia stepped off the stairs and looked around the inn with a neutral gaze. The succubus doesn't bother to conceal her nature with a hood, her horns on display for all to see. Yes...there are opportunities here. Churches often drew the desperate, those willing to give up anything - especially a soul, something plenty of people didn't even believe existed - for their wishes. Dia orders a drink at the bar, casting a brief, appraising gaze over the pair of women drinking at it as she does. With a smile, she collects her drink and takes a seat at a table near enough to the priest and his conversational partner that both could see her and she could watch them.
Emma nodded to the girl, acknowledging her apology, but returned her focused gazed to Vulcan right away.
A seller is a seller - there were no weapon, yet bargaining began. However Emma was not that new to this game herself. "I... I would not even know. I had never own a weapon before. Do you have a price range? Are there different types of those pistols?" The look in her blue-grey eyes was a mixture of genuine curiosity and naivete of a first-time buyer.
Tora would wake shortly after the warmth of Dia left the bed, stretching her whole body and letting out a curse when she smacks her hand off the head board. Letting out a low growl, she shakes her hand and sits up in bed, studying the empty room for a few minutes before her stomach beckons with a loud growl, demanding her attention. She wanted nothing more than to curl back into the warm bed, but she was up now, and her beastly appetite was demanding.
After another moment, she pushes herself out of bed, running her fingers through her long ginger hair calmly as she walks to the shared dresser that she and Dia had piled their clothes on top of. Studying herself in the mirror, her bright green eyes scanned herself from head to toe, noting a few new scratches along her slim but fit torso. All the while her hands almost involuntarily braided her hair loosely down each side of her head. She gave a slight glare to her freckled but slightly tanned face before moving to find her slim but flexible black leggings and dark green tank top. She hated the way they felt clinging to her body, but Dia insisted she didnt peruse around in the nude while they were in civilization. What Dia couldn't talk Tora out of was her fur cloak and decorated head piece, covered in various feathers and pieces of nature. Together they gave her a more native feel, making her appear closer to what she understood as druids.
Once she felt properly presentable, she grabs her smaller bag, stuffing it with her bandages and wrapping tapes to apply later after breakfast before slinging it over her back and heading out the door, making sure she was capable of getting back inside if she needed. With another demanding growl, Tora followed her stomach, and her nose, downstairs to the main in floor, her eyes scanning the crowd to first locate Dia, then the others that occupied the other seats. Silently she walked across the floor, paying no mind to the weird looks she'd get for her outfit choices. It had been like that since she had arrived here and it wasnt going to bother her even now. When she makes it to the bar, she studies the barkeeper for a moment before muttering a simple command. "Large breakfast. That table. For me." She points to the table Dia is sitting at, her eyes glancing over the others nearby warily before she leaves the barkeeper, moving to plop down almost a little too loudly next to Dia. "Breakfast. Soon." She'd lean back in her seat slightly, using a nearby chair to prop up her bare but moderately clean feet.

"We are all finished with the Order. There is a cosmic evil infecting this land."Madison said, watching Villanelle drink. "I have seen it, I have felt it's influence. This is, perhaps, a chance to become useful again. To have purpose again. Or will you stand by and watch it destroy everything - including you?"
She finished her mug of dog piss and set it down with a scrunched wince. Apparently, she was building the nerve to do something. She stood, not caring who was listening, or what their feelings were on the matter.
"Fellow patrons. I'll make this brief. Our world has drawn the attention of an unspeakable horror. I am Madison Von Schmiggleton. I am looking for those brave enough - those worthy enough - to fight it alongside me before it consumes us all. Who among you is devoted?"she called out. "Who among you has the courage? But most of all,"she smile wickedly. "Who among you is worthy enough to join me in my quest?"
She looked around the room for anyone who would respond. What a bunch of rabble.
"Each of you might have something to prove. Something you want."she said. "Something you are, perhaps, seeking, or looking for? We can achieve our goals together. But, not if there is nothing left of this world. Who, first, will save it with me??"
As Madison gives her speech, Villanelle sits there and sips her beer, trying to ignore her like she's a conspiracy theorist who started preaching their shit in a Wendy's. When Madison is finished, Villanelle moves towards the table where the priest is sitting with that woman, obviously not wanting to get caught up in Madison's business.
"Morning. You don't mind if I move over here, do you?"

Father's attention was diverted multiple of times before the woman spoke to him again, first beginning with the little she-devil that walked through the entrance. A pretty little thing she was and it would be the simplistic fact that she had no shame in displaying her horns, what she was, that would initially draw his gaze towards her. Her choice in seating was purposeful, he knew, and he simply casted her a charming grin before now turning his attention to the door once again. This one was less... of a sight, a bit barbaric in her speaking, and was seemingly friends with the devil woman..? Odd, but who am I to judge?
Now it was on the two women who were here before him, one having spoken loudly, spewing some nonsense about stopping the darkness from consuming the world. It brought a wicked smile upon his features. How foolish it was to think a few people in a bar could stop the inevitable. Wishful thinking, truly, and honestly? It was commendable, and got his blood pumping. He needed the help and if enough people joined in... This would work in his favor. He needed protection to spread word, and this would be an easy way to start.
Just as his lips parted though, he was stopped by the other woman who had shuffled her way over to him and the other woman. "No, madame, you are more than welcome to sit here," He gestures to an open seat at the bar, leaning in a bit to speak with her briefly. "Your friend is quite hopeful, isn't she? You don't see that around here very often. Its rather remarkable." He leans back and raises his hand in the air for Madison to see. "I will gladly join you on your quest, Madison Von Schmiggleton!"

Villanelle sighs as Father raises his hand and volunteers, before she got the chance to ask him about whether her still having powers meant that she was still good with the gods or whatever. He had to go and join her quest. Now I've got to join, just to make sure that the only priest in the area doesn't get gutted before he can give me any answers. "Madison, if I join your quest, will you get down from that table and stop shouting? It's far too early to be doing this and if they lock you in the stocks for causing a public disturbance, I'm not breaking you out." She turns back to Father as soon as she finishes accepting Madison's call. "Name's Villanelle, by the way."
LeBlanc would eavesdrop on the pair nearby as she picked at her breakfast. Guns. Pfft. There's nothing more personal than a blade. She'd muse to herself in her seat. Exelda came equipped with her blades, but kept them hidden within her leathers. It was not a skill she flaunted. She enjoyed the surprise on their faces when she'd run the cold steel against their skin.
Her attention would be captured by the wild ginger who interrupts her inner voice with a demand for a large breakfast. Tall glass of water to go with that? The blonde would lift her mug of water in a passive greeting to the uniquely dressed woman. Exelda would simply raise a brow in curiosity and admiration of her furs during the brief moment she was close by, turning her whole body in her seat to watch where she goes to sit.
Ahh. Une diable? LeBlanc would cross her legs and lean back with against the bar with her elbows on top of it. She'd watch with curiosity at the pair and then would pan over just in time for the shouting woman to get up, only to shout some more. This time it wasn't rude. The moment she mentioned 'unspeakable horror', it caught her attention and she'd listen to the rest of what she'd have to say, bouncing her crossed leg.
Once done, and her companion leaves her table, Exelda would start a slow clap.
"I'll bite." LeBlanc would hop off her stool and walk over to Madison.
(Awe damn. Too slow on the draw. I lose effect on the slow clap lol!)
"Exelda LeBlanc." She'd look her up and down now that she's closer. "You 'ave spunk. Passion." Exelda would jut out her chin in aknowledgement, "What do you know of these shadows?"
Dia listens to Madison's speech calmly, looking nothing but a touch amused. Still...adventurers tended to be more reckless with their souls than most others. She glances at Tora with a half-smile. "Hmmm...Tora...feel up for saving the world? And gaining a few allies against our sluggy friend, of course."
Tora raises an eyebrow at the speech and, with a slight amused smile, offers a small applaud for Madison's speech. When she hears Dia's suggestion, she shrugs with a slight smile. "Worth a shot. That one seems interested." She points to Exelda who she had noticed earlier at the bar giving her a once over. After a moment she glances around, curious to figure out what is putting off her food while keeping an eye on everyone else.

Vulcan was about to answer Emma's question, when he heard the pitch of the woman of the Order. Tsking, he reached down to his waist and pulled out a strange-looking Blunderbuss and aimed it at the woman on the table. "I'm tryin' to have a conversation 'ere. Try not to deafen us out with the sound of your mirth." He annoyedly made clear and broken attempt to imitate Madison's voice and tone from when she said those very words earlier.

While Father and Villanelle were distracted by Madison's brave speech, Freya would take the opportunity to pickpocket Father for any coin he might have on his person (Sleight of Hand: 17).
After both Father and Villanelle volunteer, Freya lets out an exasperated sigh, and overtly announces "You all are nuts.........my kinda nuts. I'm in."
Thinking to herself, 'hmmmmm, plenty of opportunities to lighten their loads, if I do say so myself....these numbnuts have no clue what they're in for!'
She then turns to address Father: "Would I be willing to help you, Father? Why sure! You look incapable of enough.....a wee bit o' help from a little girl like me is surely called for!"
Madison turned toward Father, pointed to him in acknowledgement. "Ah! Our first volunteer. Excellent. Come, and introduce yourself to me, so that I may know who I am fighting alongside."
She then turned to Villanelle. "First of all, i'm not on the table, as you can clearly see. And second, at least in the stocks, you can get three square meals a day."
Then Exelda approached, and Madison too, looked her up and down. "Plenty."she answered her. "And maybe we can learn more together." she offered. "Your slow clapping skills are quite impressive, might I know who I have the honor of being "applauded" by?"You can't tell if she's being sarcastic or not. That's when she heard a familiar sound, and she made a slow sweeping motion with her hands around her jacket.
She slowly turned towards Vulcan. "My good man."she said calmly, staring you down. "Did you simply get carried away with your dramatic gesture, or are you pointing your weapon at me with lethal intention."You notice her long leather jacket has been pulled back and her hands are dangerously close to her Dawnhammer pistols.

As Father awaits Madison’s retort to the soot covered fellow, he feels a little hand brush against the out part of his thigh to his pants pocket. Like a bolt of lightning, he grabs at her wrist and roughly rips it away from his person, dark eyes glaring down at the woman. “Cute,” He mutters down time her. It really took a lot of willpower out of him to not snap her wrist right then and there, but instead he lets her go with a forced smile. “I would prefer you never do that again, my dear, or I’ll have to punish you~”
He clears his throat then after and stands from his seat and joins Madison at her table, giving a respectful bow to her and the one called Exelda. He would hold his introduction for now as to not interrupt whatever was happening between the trigger happy woman and man.

Villanelle looks at Father with great interest as he stops the girl from pickpocketing him. Most priests I've seen don't have reflexes like that. She muses as she heads over to the table and waits to see if Madison blows the spot covered man away.

"No intention other than getting a hypocrite to shut their mouth hole so I can finish my conversation." Noticing the pistols, he glances up at her and locks eyes, "Funny. I thought the Order didn't come around here anymore." The annoyance in his voice is slightly swayed by curiosity, however, he keeps the shotgun leveled at the woman's torso. "If you've come to preach or spout, not my buisness. However, if you're gonna tell people to shut up before screaming bloody hypocrisy yourself, I'm gonna get annoyed. Especially since I'm conducting my buisness."
“Madame, you simply missed my name as I did introduce myself. Perhaps my slow clap was too good. Exelda.” She’d wink playfully and slide into a chair at the table to await the outcome of this very trigger happy and unnecessary stand off. Ugh. Guns. Exelda would roll her eyes.
Dia watches and considers whether or not to interfere. On the one hand, she had no love for the Dawnhammers. On the other, if the pair blew each other to pieces, it was two souls gone from this world that she didn't have. Dia sighs. When the succubus has to be the voice of reason...
Dia stands calmly and snaps her fingers, a brief flare of blue flame popping into being between the pair, just enough to tug their attention from their standoff. The succubus clears her throat lightly, and says in a relaxed, light tone "Perhaps everyone could put the guns away? There are far more painless - and interesting - ways to resolve this. Ones that don't end...messily." She tilts her head, her earrings swinging almost mockingly, and adds with a smile to Madison "Oh, and we're in."
Because Books forgot to do this last post, Dia (just imagine the reverse cross earrings are actually upside down versions of whatever the symbol of the Creed is):

Father: "Eat her soul." A voice tells you. "That one would make a very delicious meal.."
Ugh. Guns. Exelda would roll her eyes.
just an unstable unicorn.

"Or if you must shoot each other," Villanelle mentions "at least go outside and do it. Some of us are trying to eat breakfast."
