Thanks for your patience guys! Amshoon is up first, with Vinras next. Will add Elizabeth to the initiative when I hear from her. At the moment, the cart is sitting on the tracks running north to south. There are rocks and boulders on both sides of the path, and the bandit with the horse is about 15 feet from the road. Amshoon and Nicola are next to him. The leader and one bandit are about 15 feet south of him (approx 30 feet from the cart) and the red haired bandit is about the same distance to the north.
Amshoon will dart to the other side of the horse and yell out “I think you’ll find we aren’t so easily taken,” as he presses a hand to the ground, casting a spell.
entangle DC 13 strength save in a 20 foot cube to get the bandit with the horse, the leader, and the bandit next to the leader.
Great swaths of long grass snap out, grabbing and tangling the arms and legs of several bandits.
After that, Amshoon draws out a cudgel from his belt, about the size of his forearm, whispers “foul wind” to it and it begins to darken.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Vinras would move his full movement of 25ft to as close as possible to the bandits, (which I think leaves him 5ft short.). He would then throw a Javelin at the bandit leader.
The bandit leader snaps back with a snarl, the point of the javelin catching him just above the hip. Blood begins to flow as he strains against the plant growth hampering his arms and legs.
You should be rolling at advantage, so feel free to roll again in case you get a Crit.
“Kill that ******* halfling!!!” He screams at his fighters.
The bandits act next- the two bandits will shoot at Vinras, while moving away from the entangle effect, and the one next to Amshoon is going to draw his scimitar and slash at the Tiefling.
The two crossbow attacks were a 5 and an 8 total, and the scimitar attack in Amshoon was a 16.

Ok, so that’s 6 points of slashing damage against Amshoon. The bandit’s blade slashes open his forearm above the wrist and the blood begins to splash the rocks and stain his coat sleeve, while Vinras wards off the crossbow bolts on his shield.

Nicola feels some blood spatter on her arm from the attack on Amshoon. She gathers her concentration and mutters some prayers to Lathander to smite these brazen bandits, and to heal her party members.
Action: Sacred Flame to the bandit with the scimitar: 4
The bandit leaps aside as a flash of silver flame lashes the ground where he stood only a second before. (Dex save 17). In the second he’s distracted, Nicola mutters a few arcane words and the skin of Amshoon’s arm knits together, staunching the flow of blood.
The bandit leader roars and wrenches his arms and legs free of the tangling grass and creepers, staggering towards the halfling who wounded him. (Str save 18)
No disadvantage, in my mind the bandit leader moved his full movement to get out of the rough terrain. Even if he was still in there, difficult terrain only affects your movement speed.

shillelagh as a bonus action

Good move! As you begin to move the bandit will fire as his held action- he rolled a 3+ 3 as his attack, which I’m guessing misses.
The bandit with the horse rolled 17, the other bandit 15 and the leader rolled 10, which i am guessing fails.
(am using mobile atm so no dice rolling tool)

Sweet. So the leader is restrained (Attacks at disadvantage, and attacks against him have advantage). Difficult terrain all around there though

That hits Amshoon

Irena up next!

(My roll was with advantage by the dice roller.)
Cool, no worries
DM- Chronicles of Wildemount Campaign.
Irena takes aim with her longbow and sends an arrow at one of the crossbowmen.
Attack: 17 Damage: 7
That hits! The bandit ahead of the wagon doubles over with the feathers of an arrow protruding from his stomach.
Nicola is up next, then the bandit leader (nat 1 initiative) will add Elizabeth and Debolsia next round.

Amshoon up next, then Vinras
DM- Chronicles of Wildemount Campaign.
Amshoon raises his cudgel and swings at the bandit who slashed him with the scimitar. As he swings, the wind seems to be pushing his club forward.
Attack: 18 Damage: 8
Unfortunately, all the ripping, and renewing of flesh appears to have left Amshoon a bit weakened, and the club swings way wide.
Paladin - warforged - orange
(So if Vinras moves in on the bandit leader to be in melee range, will he be at disadvantage due to the rough terrain from the spell?)
