Sereena seems hesitant. Although excited by the idea of making some quick gold and enjoying a mighty game of strength and luck, she knows it would also be squandering precious resources with which to spread Ilmater’s compassion with......buuutttt, it would not be right to not show faith in the very people that have asked for help and brought her to the Lowlands. Maybe she should invest in them as they have invested in her, and if she benefited a bit on the side....”Ankarg, I would appreciate making a bet in favor of Redrikson. Is there a minimum wager that needs to be placed? How does the process work here,” she asks while looking at the two dwarves sight the colorful papers. ”I don’t have much left since the rest of my group has yet to arrive but I would like a chance at increasing what I do have. Would say 15gp be to little?”
Anansi simply turns and makes his way up to the box. "I prefer to keep my gold somewhere where I know it's safe. Betting on a game of chance doesn't seem very safe."

Salazar turns to Anansi as he comes into the box Ssee any way we can cut into this action? Let’ss keep our eyes open for any opportunity to gain some leverage with the localss, the only safe bet is one we’ve rigged
Anansi gives a quick glance over to the other group before lowering his voice. "I haven't seen anything yet but I'm definitely interested if anything comes up."

Passing Sereena, Gadus nods at both rogues before taking a seat in front of them, Bekate rustling his wings as his master sits.
Gadus' hot take on the rogues made him trust that the two wouldn't succumb to their baser instincts with him taking a disadvantageous position below them in the seating pews; and if they did try any sleight-of-hand they would be disappointed -- most of the value the mage had was kept in his mind.
A voice drolly shouts from the next box over, "Well, well. Lookey who the dwarf dragged in. Drow Killers Are Us! Aren't we the lucky ones? Seems yoo'll be making our lives worse any time now." Pipe smoke is thick in the air, as is the beard on the female dwarf sitting there with her arms crossed.
Looking at the group with a prominent glint in her eye and a wave of her bejeweled hand, "I kid, I kid. As long as the game goes on, I'm sure we'll be fine."
Turning to Salazar and Anansi, "Don't see many Yuan-ti here, unless they're laboring of course. We dim-witted locals are sure easy prey for any outsiders to be sure. Let me know if yoo need any help with that leverage. Better yet," she thwaps a shoulder sitting in front of her and a hand comes up with a paper, "here's the plan on how da game's already rigged." She gestures for the burly dwarf in front of her to hand it over, "Feel free to play along n make some coin." She grins snidely and takes a heavy puff from her large ornate pipe.
Salazar will take the paper, no sign of irritation on his face. He’ll scan the paper. Thankss for the headss up. Uss sssneaky outsiderss need all the help we can get. Itssss got to be better than labouring away like a common ssssssnake. To whom do we have the pleasssure? I think it would be rare to ssseee a lady of ssssuch disstinction in a sordid essstaishment like thiss? (Salazar is playing up to the snake stereotype, overly sussurating his vowels)
Anansi reaches over and plucks the paper from the Salazar's hand. "Much obliged. Glad to see that killing drow hasn't inconvenienced you. Depending on what happens next there may need to be a little more." He then looks down at the paper.
"Sssssssssssthat's funny," she says and does a belly laugh. "Boys!" Thwapping the lot of them, "Aren't they funny!" The other dwarves play along and give out various chuckles.
She takes a swig of something from a stein, never taking her eyes off of them, and adds, "Get yer coin out, friends! If you believe the skuttle, Clan Redrickson may actually have a fight on their hands. Which way yoo bettin'?!"
Interesting. There’s a few words here I don’t know the meaning of. What’s a Khanir Ill? Or a Gilthok for that matter? Salazar will tap Galdus on blithe shoulder and offer him the paper
Gadus knows Sylvan, though I'm sure the language he's looking at isn't that.
Gadus rolls his head backward looking up at Salzar before accepting the note. "Hmm, not any language I know, though I do like the broken use of it. Best bet is that kahanir ill is some sort of proper noun and gilthok is some kind of verb," Gadus offers while shrugging. "'bout all I can get from it -- besides the fact that I'm not supposed to bet one way." The wizard hands the note back to the pure-blood before giving an introductory nod at the talkative dwarf.
Well seeing as you’re so sure I have a spare 5 gold I’m willing to place on a bet on whomever you recommend madam. I’d be obliged if you could tell us your name so that I know who to thank for my winnings Salazar withdraws 5 coins from his pocket and stands to make his way to the bookmaker downstairs
Anansi stops in the middle of his reading and looks up at Gadus. "Wait, you're a wizard and you're illiterate? Don't you need to read to learn spells?"

The burly dwarf that had the note originally grunts abruptly and goes to rub his back, "It's DWARVEN - Don't Bet Against It. Let's **** shit up."

Harryanyway?"Anansi shrugs. "I assumed with the magic and the bird. Same as I assume the black hood and daggers makes me look like a rogue."
