"I wasn't being entirely facetious before," Falshen says, his often-light tone taking on a more serious and thoughtful note. "Perhaps we need to tell a Dwarven god one of our secrets."
Creeping to the bottom of the stair, Falshen beholds a vast subterranean vault, mysteriously lit by streams of sunlight that pour down from the ceiling, catching motes of dust in their luminous pools. Ornate columns support a vaulted ceiling, adorned by carvings of dwarves in flowing robes, basking in the presence of their gods. Deep alcoves line the walls, and from each alcove there spills a stream of glowing gold - thousands upon thousands of coins.
Restraining his baser instincts, Falshen retreats up the stairs, reporting his findings to the party and suggesting that they follow at a distance. With that done, he redescends the stairs and moves carefully into the great room.
Prior to Falshen's returning to the party, the rest of you note the odd sight of a paper bird flying through the air, up from the steps whence he descended, and out through the route which brought you here.
Akai will try to spot any interesting markings, writings or other distinctive marks on the paper bird.
Perception check: 20
Akai's swift eye and keen glance, like that of the eagle that can stare into the sun without blinking, discerns no writing or markings on the outside of the paper bird.
Ian makes a quick snatch at the paper bird, but the magical object just barely slips through his fingers, and is gone before any other party member has time to react.
“wait, why?” Ian asks Irma confused.
Ian ruminates on the inscription, ““A secret never before told will part Dumathoin’s lips.”
”I wonder what this could mean.”

Ian steps forward to the statue and whispers…
With a cavernous groan, a section of the far wall peels open, revealing a stone stair leading downward.
From the opening there wafts a gentle breath of warm air, tinged with the scent of sulfur.
Ensuring a firm grip on his sword hilt, Falshen looks to his companions. "Shall we see where Ian's secret leads?"
Ian braces himself and looks to Falshen,
“Why don’t you lead good sir. I will be a step behind you.”
With a nod, the roguish trickster turns toward the stairs, slipping into the shadows as he leads the party's descent into the unknown.
