Gregor dives for partial cover and crooks the fingers on his ring hand. As he hisses the words of an incantation, his breath fogs in the air. He is poised to set the spell on the wounded and exposed Kenku, but if that one falls, he'll reshape the magic to focus on the concealed one instead.
"Kahahahah! Fool! You face no weakling lizard! You face Akai, scion of dragons! Know the pain of dragonfire!" The diminutive sorcerer cackles and boasts as he prepares his magic.
While True Strike is active, Akai will cast Firebolt on the hidden kenku and keep clear of melee combat. If the already-wounded kenku is still active by his next turn, he will aid Irma in finishing it off, making use of Kobold Pack Tactics. If the wounded kenku is down by then, he will return his focus to the hidden kenku. If no ally is engaging it in melee combat, he will cast True Strike once more before using Firebolt again.

And Gregor follows up with a Frostbite spell against the same target, forcing a Constitution save: 12
Meanwhile, the other foe sheltering in the shadow of the crate pops up to release another arrow at Akai, revealing a similar beaked and hooded countenance: Attack: 7 Damage: 9
As soon as this second kenku reveals himself to loose his shot, he is assaulted by Ian's Vicious Mockery, and must make a Wisdom saving throw: 18
Simultaneously, the latter luckless avian is also a recipient of Akai's Firebolt, cast with Advantage due to True Strike: Attack: 26 Damage: 18
...as well as another missile from Falshen's bow: Attack: 7 Damage: 7

The first kenku's blade snaps like a twig against the paladin's armor before the mighty hammer comes down on his head, braining the would-be assassin and sending him sprawling on the floor. Fingers of Frostbite3 creep across his prone form, causing him to twitch and groan, his eyes rolling back in his head, his throat rattling, but still breathing.

The second kenku's arrow goes whistling off into a corner, as does Falshen's, while Akai's Firebolt detonates the enemy in a cloud of dust and burnt feathers, leaving it without an ego to be wounded by Ian's Vicious Mockery.
The surviving kenku remains face down on the ground, and slowly raises its arms in a silent plea for mercy.
One enemy, near death, has surrendered. The other is little more than a scorch mark on the warehouse floor. The party is in possession of the field - for the present.

"Let's get that one bound up, and -tch- if someone could take a look at me, I don't think some healing would go amiss." Gregor says, hand pressed over his wound.

“I have you friend” Irma walks over to Gregor and heals him for 3 HP. After healing Gregor, Irma will walk over to bind the Kenku and perform a medicine check on his condition.
Ian will walk over to the non-detonated, bound kenku, kneel down, and attempt some persuasion & intimidation.
"Well, I thought I saw a flash of something behind those boxes earlier. You're in a bad way right now and your best bet is to cooperate with us. So, what was your purpose here? Who sent you? Were there any others with you? What else can you tell us? We may consider leaving you here if you cooperate. Or..." Ian pauses for effect.
"Or, we may consider leaving you to our fire-happy, tally-keeping kobold." Ian assumes a devil's grin, nods in Akai's direction, and continues, "He takes great personal pride in the use of his magics as your friend discovered."
"Ks-ss-ss, best you listen to the blue one there," Akai says with a hissing snicker. "Answer, and you may be the lucky walking-bird who faced Akai - and companions - and lived to tell the tale. Refuse, and be more kindling for the bonfire of Akai's legend!" He finishes the ultimatum with a toothy grin that leaves no doubt as to his willingness to fulfill his words.
The kenku stares at Ian and Akai wide-eyed and open-mouthed, panting fast. It seems on the verge of speaking, until Irma crouches down to inspect his wounds and bind his claws, at which point the paladin's warhammer swings loose and clocks the creature between the eyes, knocking him senseless.
Falshen finds no further enemies lurking in the warehouse, but does stumble over a couple more bodies. He also finds a closet door downstairs and an office door upstairs, both locked.

"Ruh roh, little guy is taking a nap," Irma proceeds to heal the Kenku for 1 HP with divine touch. "Wake up buddy, we have a few questions for you."
Ian face-palms at the sight of the hammer braining the kenku yet again, but continues to wait for the creature to come back to its senses and give answer to his questions.
Akai snickers at Irma's accidental violence, but hides it quickly. "Have a care, fool! Prisoner must give us information! Go on to spread tales of our power! Too soon to kill him - for now, anyway." With that, he is content to wait for the kenku to wake up again.
Upon Irma's gentle ministrations, the kenku is brought back to consciousness and stares up at his captors bleary-eyed. After some croaking and clicking, he suddenly speaks in a deep voice with an orcish accent, saying “Xanathar sends its regards.” After that he bobs his head a couple times, and then in a thin, nasally voice, "“Tie up the pretty boy in the back room!” and then “Follow the yellow signs in the sewers.” A few moments later it speaks again in a third, scratchy voice, saying “No time to loot the place. Just get him to the boss.”
Falshen, meanwhile, has unlocked the closet door. The cramped chamber beyond smells strongly of sour fish and vinegar, and is filled with discarded ropes, canvas tarpaulins, and splintered wood from smashed barrels. Amidst the jumble sits a bound and gagged man, his physical description answering to that of...well, of one of the two similar-looking young men you've been tasked with finding.

Ian dodges for cover while remaining in range and yells mockingly in a vicious sing-song voice at the kenku under cover,
”Your shots were lax like your nest-mother’s cloaca!”
If a party member goes down (0 hp), Ian will heal with HW saying, “Lick thy wounds and carry on!”
If no party member goes down, Ian will inspire Irma with BI saying, “Trust your hammer, master Gerd!”
Irma roars in righteousness fury and moves to attack the wounded Kenku.
