teaching magic: Arcana 24
teaching magic: Arcana 26
I will spend 3 silver per day in the big village (total 18 silver) for lifestyle as well as 40 copper on the first day to buy favours/ good will. I will also freely offer cure wounds and purify food and drink each evening for whoever needs it, free of charge.
Jardor has designated himself as Gara's protector after the experiences with the snakes and the scavengers...so I will be basing my activities on where he is.
Jardor's activities for week 2:
Establish relations with the second village, military strength, weapons acquisition, & training: Athletics Maybe?: 16
Continue military training in big village - try to teach great weapon fighting fighting style with great clubs or quarterstaffs: Don't know if a skill or ability score is appropriate, so here is a raw d20, you decide. 1
Continue military training in big village - 8
Visit the small village with Gara - while there try to train Impisi more. Animal Handling: 20
Was not clear if Gara stayed in small village at this point or journeyed back to the big...either way days 5 and 7 are military training, in either village. If Jardor is in the small village on Day 6 he will spend the day attempting to tame and train Impisi. Gara, can you clarify where you are spending days 5, 6, and 7?
5. Continue military training - 4
6. Continue military training or train impisi in small village - 3 (+3 if animal handling)
7. Continue military training - 15

Just to clarify, all the teaching would be in the big village. And Gara would welcome Jardors help, but would encourage him to pay for food and lodging while staying in the big village.
On the first day of your hunting, you find yourself deep in the forest, and slightly lost. There appears to be no wildlife worth hunting and even the plants in the area border on "inedible". When you are about to give up and turn back, you catch the smell of fried meat. Exploring towards the smell gets you close to a small campfire with chinks of meat frying on it. 5 feet away is a corpse of a massive bear. An average sized (though somewhat lean) humanoid seems to be leaning over it and seems to be dismantling it. The humanoid appears be wearing a long leather coat and has a few bags next to him. Though his back is faced to you, the humanoid is aware of your presence and gestures you to come closer, without turning his back.
Jardor&Gara:
Your trip to the goblin village goes OK. The villagers do not seem to want to open up too much about the problems, but you can see it's the after-effects of the magic used that created the bright light you saw on the night before fighting the pack: damaged buildings, a poorly sealed massive hole in the walls, and numberous injured goblins. Many still have bad burns a few number are half blind. You find that the village caster is still serioult injured and bedridden. The village does have a (theoretically) much larger pool of soldiers, though some are still too injured, and others think they are already good enough and need no training.
On the first day i would spend one of my herbs to treat the caster and do a medical check 18. After that i will use cure wounds each day to help as many injured as possible, i will also explain the situation to the village elder on day 4 and ask him if he can help or if he wants to share some of his herbs. If he shares some of his herbs, i make sure they are put to good use ( medical checks for day 5 to 7 42 + 2 each day for medical checks)
After having met with the chief of the larger village, Jardor pulls Gara aside to quietly discuss the situation and revisit their plan for the week.
"What do you think? They clearly need the help of a healer like yourself...if they are willing to accept it, but that is not something I can help with. Frankly they are so stand off-ish I would just as soon leave them to their squallor and help the other village get better off until these realize that they need what we have. I can get more training time in with Impisi that way too."

“I think we stick with the original plan, but argument it as far as we can to help them recover a bit. I think geting the caster back up will help them the most.”
"Well, I'll do what I can to help them rebuild while you are here. I think I will enjoy helping the other village more though."
Jardor winks knowingly at Gara...he is mostly kidding...mostly.
In light of that conversation since the villagers do not want military training I will just do construction work...lift big heavy things and move them...help rebuild the wall and houses...etc.
With the exception of day 4...that will still be training Impisi at the small village when we go to check on them.
Original raw rolls for the other days were 9, 1, 8, 3, 4, and 15...another horrible array. I figure I add either 5 or 7 to it most days for raw strength or athletics. But I will let you decide what is appropriate for a construction day laborer.
Also paying 3 silver per day while there...so 3x6, 18 silver deducted from the character sheet.

“ Oh, i agree that the smaller village feels more welcoming, but we need to remeber that we are strangers in the big one, and that you need to earn respect. They don’t know us after all. That is one reason why i wanted to come here in the first place, to break the ice.”
Gathrik shrugs and slowly starts approaching the humanoid. “Hello there. What brought you this deep into the forest?”, he approaches but not too close to the campfire or to the humanoid himself.
You stabilise the injured caster and while he is too weak to properly speak to you, you have been given access to his tudy which contains a number of books on various subjects you can explore in your spare time.
(OOC: this lets you do research to find lore on monsters/religion/arcana etc.)
Jardor:
(OOC: The day 1-2 event concerning your training outcome is already ongoing, so you cannot change it). Once the event is over, you may change your actions for day3 onwards if you want
You gather a few men in the large village and strat trining them. Gathering supplies and initial training with blunt weapons went without much issues, considering the indifferent attitude of the goblins, but things quickly took a turn on the second day. The training was not going well, with the goblins split into two groups: one with injured and rookies, and the other with increasingly arrogant goblins who were beginning to outrignt ignore your commands. Towards the afternoon, the things reach breaking point.
You show the goblins how to stand in formation, with quarter staffs forming a wall and greatclubs covering the flanks, when you see the arrogant group of goblins is crouched facing each other and whispering. When you call them out, they turn around one of them takes a few steps forward and says:
"We've had enough of you barking orders! You think you're so superior to use, you can treat us like fresh recruits?! You think we're that weak? I don't think so. We're going to put you back in your place, calf!"
Gathrik:
The humanoid turn around and you see to your surprise it's a human man. The few humans seen in the northlands are normally merchant agents in well escorted caravans, but this man does not look like one. The man responds:
"Good day to you too. I am travelling around, after I got bored of my home town. This bear will make a good addition to my dwindling food supllies...These mutts are annoying with their appetites. But hey, if you want to have a bite though, I do not mind."
Jardor smiles darkly as the small goblin questions his authority.
"Very well runt. You want to challenge me for superiority of your battle troop, I accept. Let's see what you know about battling an enemy larger than you. It is a skill that will come in handy since everything is larger than you."
Stepping to an open area away from anyone not wishing to participate so they will not be hurt in the process, Jardor draws his Greatsword and falls into a battle stance. He then issues the formal challenge to the obstinate goblin.
Minotaur: "Ket mattet, Kel shak lo! Chel nok."
If anyone is wondering I just turned the SG-1 Goa'uld language into Minotaur. Jaffa and Minotaur seem to line up well demeanor wise. In minotaur tradition I imagine such a battle would be to the death, hence the "Kel shak lo", but Jardor does not intend to kill the impudent goblin, just embarrass him. What he said in minotaur roughly translates to "Challenge for Dominance, To the Death! Good Luck." Because of Jardor's culture he is expecting this to be a one on one battle, but if more goblins join in he will mess them all up just the same.
I assume that stabelising and geting acces to the librarry is my first day. I will keep the other six days as they are. Teaching during the day with an hour of medical suport in the evening and visiting the small village on day 4 to check on the herbalists and ask the elder for medical suport.
The goblins were in training gear (clubs and shields), but seeing you draw a greatsword, they also pull out daggers and even a couple of scimitars. one of which is wielded by the ringleader. Several goblins spread out and step towards you. An number of others stay further back, egging them on, but not participating.
Inititative:
Ringleader: 20
Other scimitar: 13
The rest, including those hanging back: 5, 18, 16, 9, 17, 3, 9, 10.
I will roll all activities once everyone has diciden on what they are doing, but for no reason, can you roll a plain d8?
Garas activities for week 2:
I will spend 3 silver per day in the big village (total 18 silver) for lifestyle as well as 40 copper on the first day to buy favours/ good will. I will also freely offer cure wounds and purify food and drink each evening for whoever needs it, free of charge.

i also didn’t add any modifiers to those rolls, just so you know.

Serit's second week
Day 1 Practice Smithing/Make farm flails: 3
Day 2 Practice Smithing/Make farm flails: 12
Day 3 Clear brush in area for farming: 10
Day 4 Teach ambush techninques to stealth minded Goblins: 9
Day 5 Lay about
Day 6 Clear brush in area for farming: 19
Day 7 Teach ambush techninques to stealth minded Goblins: 19
Just to clarify, all the teaching would be in the big village. And Gara would welcome Jardors help, but would encourage him to pay for food and lodging while staying in the big village.
Nasaar spends the second week healing up from his injury. he would be resting and casting cure wounds on himself as often as needed to get healed up.
If he can spend time training his bonecrusher, not working on anything too big, just basic commands that he can do while resting.
If so here are the rolls:
1... 11
2... 6
3... 6
4... 14
5... 17
6... 15
7... 9
OK, some events before we fully run the 2nd week.

What do you do?
Resting gives advantage to medical checks. So feel free to roll another set of d20s. I'll be still only using the first set for training checks.
The modifier you can get with the village elder on healing is a +6 (providing Gara has stocked him with healing herbs), if Nasaar goes to him.
