"Why would I want to stand against one?" Nolla says with a grin for the man. She runs a hand through her auburn hair and gives a shrug. "I may go and watch though, but, no, I don't fancy fighting a dragon on my own any day soon." She gives the man a nod and turns back to the group around the lute player. "Any of you lot going to go and fight this dragon?" She asks them, showing them the flyer. "Could be quite the show if you are not going to do so, but I will cheer for any crazy enough to try it..."
Alexis decides to stop playing at dusk, thanking all those who came to listen. As he is getting ready to walk away, he spots a flyer on the ground. He picks it up and reads it as he hears the man speak to Nolla.
"Hey now, how do you know she can't handle a dragon? You should not judge a person by their looks. I once knew the sweetest young girl, but a lad broke her heart. Have you ever seen a man hang from the ceiling with no clothing on?"
"I have though." Nolla says with a wicked smile on her lips. "It was not quite that sort of hanging though, more swinging and pretending to be some great monkey, before..." She shrugs. "Well, let's just not get into that right now shall we." She nods to the paper. "You going to try playing for the dragon?" She asks the lute player.
Listening in on the conversation, Mavros approaches the two to join in. "Planning to take on a dragon? That sounds like a good way to get killed if you ask me."
The man is average sized and wears refined clothing. His red skin, black hair, yellow pupil-less eyes and fangs denote of his fiendish heritage. You notice that one of the horn on his head his broken in half. His mannerism is very elegant And poised. His gaze comes to meet the one known as Alexis. "I must say ser bard, your performance was most entertaining. You are very talented."
Looking back at the two of them "Oh, but where are my manners? Call me Mavros." he says, with a courtly bow.
A tall hooded figure approaches his face concealed, his long grey cloak trailing behind him, catching on his Elven made bow and quiver on his back, a longsword dangles by his side, Runes etched into the hilt. He looks strong enough to knock down a boar with his bare hands. A foreboding figure to say the least.
"One man can take down a Dragon if he knows how they fight. Have any of you ever fought a Dragon before?" The man's voice sounds more like an animal growing than a human. "Even the most skilled musician over there," Nodding at the lyre player. "can't take on a dragon with music. I'm Jalin, ex-soldier. If we split the earnings I'll help you out. It's been a while since Honor's Call has been wet with the blood of a worthy foe." He pats his sword fondly.
Alexis returns Mavros' bow. "Thank you for the compliment."
Facing Jalin, "Well I wasn't planning on taking it alone. I was going to go recruiting a group of adventurers to help. Looks like that has already happened." Alexis throws a disarming smile at them.
Jalin grunts through his hood. "And this is a onetime thing, I won't be helping you again. I'm not a people person. Come get me when its time to fight." He turns almost bumping into the newcomer and walks toward a stall selling roasted chestnuts.

Nolla glances after the rude one who walked away. "Guess he will have to find his own way there then." She says with a shrug. "If he wants to be involved that is, I don't see it as my responsibility to go find him when it is time." She shrugs as she looks to the others. "Want to go and see what this dragon business is all about then?" She asks them with her smile returned.
Mavros shruggs in return. "Though I lack your relish to face such a terrible beast, I admit my curiosity is piqued. And should we find ourselves battling this creature, I will provide whatever help I can. Friends are hard to come by for my kind. I should be sad to lose the ones I just made."
Alexis watches as Jalin leave. "Yea... I don't know about that one." They turn to Mavros. "We might as well go find out some more information. Doesn't hurt to ask"
Nolla starts walking through the festival, with the lute player and those others she just met. She is heading towards wherever the flyer said they should go to learn more about the dragon fighting. As she walks the shadows would react to her passing, reaching out for her or swirling briefly around her as she passes through them.
Jalin notices the group leaving, and trails them, keeping his distance. He felt bad for talking to them that way, but the last time he made friends, they died defending him. He didn't want to get too attached to this merry group, less they get killed.

"It sounds like some fun. The stuff of legends. Might be able to get a few good stories out of it."
"Well mind some company then?" Nolla asks as she gives the Lute-man another smile. "My name's Nolla."
