Leshanna gives a nod of acceptance, though she does not know why they consider her feisty. She shrugs it off, it is not of importance. With her honor intact, thanks to that agreement to pay back those who had hired her for the contract she could no longer perform, Leshanna prepares to take on this new task with her full attention.
Jasper will raise a gloved hand with his index finger extended.
”A bit late to introduce myself but I was observing.”
With a slight bow to the group he begins his introduction.
”Jasper Doe, Waterdeep native retired member of the city watch, and currently a self employed private investigator as well as someone who will readily take on a task for the grater good. Though I won’t be expecting a reward for this service I would appreciate it if you’d be willing to spread the word about Opaque Investigations or offer better equipment than what I have on hand, I can take care of a cultist or two fairly easily but a dragon might be stretching things.”
“Well then.” The silver color nearly drains out of Frees face as he turns nearly stark white.
“it’s doesn’t seem very far that you fetch this this persons thiiiings and pay his employer but won’t supply me a ward or some silk sheets... I should shudder to think what kind of job I’ll be able to accomplish... one so such as important as this without my basic needs met. I do dare say that the worlds impending doom could be all because I didn’t have a ward and silk sheets. I mean I was sought for this job I think it’s only right. Oh and my friends string and buttons. It’s very important.”

A sudden shift in the wind brings with it a strange sense of unease. The feeling is akin to the drop in air pressure before the approach of a deadly storm, or faint tremors felt from a landslide or earthquake far away. You're not the only ones who have noticed. The city around you grows unnaturally quiet suddenly. No dogs bark, no birds squawk. Even the noises from the street vendors outside have gone silent.
A noble approaches the group, whom the bounty hunter recognizes from another contract. Dala Silmerhelve a Waterhavian noble. She smiles grimly
"The disturbance that's been sensed across the Swordcoast is the Draakhorn-- an ancient device whose sounding alerts Dragons across Faerun that great events are unfolding. It's impossible to say what the sounding means, but the dragons hear it clearly and will eventually answer its call."
She moves towards the table and sits down nearby Leshanna. Erltanther walks out of the chamber after saying goodbye, and the introductions begin.

The Lady Erlanther pointed out as Remallia, sits down as a human male approaches.
"Hello, my name is Ontharr Frume, from the Gauntlet. An honor to meet you. By the way, I support you fully." He adds with a wink. Next comes another Half-Elf.
"Greetings from the Emerald Enclave. May this meeting enlighted us all. Delaan Winterhound at your service. Jasper notices the Open Lord of Waterdeep sit down across from him, and open an old book.
Leshanna also recognizes the Marshall Ulder Ravengard from Baldur's Gate.
The Dwarf chuckles as he walks by. "Me old ma had more fightin' spirit than this bloody lot."
Several other nobles walk in and take their seats.

Free stands proud seemingly having charmed his way into exactly what he wanted. A skill he has been working on since leaving home. Simply asking or demanding didn't always work anymore.
"So, you would like us to embark on a journey to find the draakhorn - likely dispatch of whomever is sounding it, retrieve any intel they may have and then bring the draakhorn back here. To you."
Free looks at the Kobold on his shoulder. "I think this is something I can do. Especially, with such a capable new sidekick and team. We will harness the power of the platinum dragon and conquer these silly hornblowers."

Acknowledging the Dragoborns words, Raishan turns back to the nobles, "Is this what you ask of us? If so do you know the general direction where we should start searching for this relic? Though I have still not heard anything mentioned about payment?"
At which point Raishan will lean back in his chair to sit more comfortably and muse over the information that has already been given.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"I imagine you have some leads you wish us to look into." Leshanna says in her emotionless voice. "Otherwise why call us in here and now. Is it this horn you wish us to find, and what leads do you have for us to follow to do so, or do you have something else you want us to do, in hopes that leads us towards the horn?" She sits back, her eyes sweeping the nobles again, this time cool and serious. "And yes, as those of you who know my reputation know, I do not work for free, so payment must be discussed."
Insight: 20 to gaige what the nobles around her are wanting from them and if they are being truthful.
(Raishan knows nothing of the horn.) Edit> (I keep forgetting to refresh my page when I write. so I miss posts.)
(Yes the nobles are being completely truthful. And they want you to help them in their quest to stop Tiamat from rising. Even if it means your lives, or theirs.)
Silmerhelve nods. "In the long term yes, we want to find the Draakhorn. But our main concern right now is the dragons terrorizing the Coast. We have a contact who went missing a while back who knows much more than us about the Horn."
The Dwarf rudely cuts in. "Not to mention that bloody scum-bag of a traitor Varram. Never before has a Dwarf worked with such evil Dragons." He then took his disgust further as he spits on the floor."
Remallia waits her turn, then calls across the table. "I have all my agents working on finding high ranking cultists, or "wearers of purple" as they call themselves. Recently I received word of the Dwarf Varram, moving. We believe it has something to do with the sounding of the Horn. He is in the open and vulnerable. But he is no less of a threat than the Horn. King Melandrach" She nods to a nearby Elf... "Believes the Dwarf may be a key part of releasing Tiamat."
Silmerhalve nods. "As for payment, the cultist have been hoarding gold for years to please their God. Should we win, you can have as much of it as you like."
"So is it two tasks or three?" Leshanna asks. She is logical and straight forward as she lays them out... "One, to do something about dragons terrorizing the coast. Two, to find this contact of yours, who knows more about the horn. Three, to find this dwarf that might be someone important to the cult of the dragon." She raises a finger for each of the three. "I do not know what you would expect us to do about dragons terrorizing the coast, as that seems to be more an issue for your armies." She says bringing down the first finger. "For the other two, do you have any leads for this contact of yours, or the reason this dwarf is out in the open, and an idea of where we might find him?"
'Well, we believe that if we stop the Horn, the Dragons will go back to their dens. So you have the choice of going after the Dwarf or the contact. The dwarf is believed to be looking for some sort of mask, a mask needed to raise Tiamat. Our contact went missing while looking for something in the Sea Of Ice. If you want to look for her, that would be a good place to start. Maccath The Crimson is allied with some sort of wizard clan, if we find her, they may help us in our cause."
At the mention of the Dwarf, Connerad spits again.

With her honor intact, thanks to that agreement to pay back those who had hired her for the contract she could no longer perform, Leshanna prepares to take on this new task with her full attention.
Aeson takes his seat and states to the others, "You see my brothers and sisters, we were chosen by the Watcher."
Jasper will raise a gloved hand with his index finger extended.

he says amusedly at the end.
Leshanna turns to Eason. "Who is this watcher you speak of?"
With his eyes remaining focused on the meeting about to take place, Aeson responds to Leshanna...
"The Watcher is my God Helm... we have been chosen by him. My Masters told me this would happen one day."
