This adventure takes place on the world of Scarn, The Scarred Lands, on the continent of Ghelspad. (Details in the "Scarred Lands Players Guide" but this is not required. If you're curious, but don't want to buy another book, the Ghelspad Gazette is pay-what-you-want) This is the second adventure in the "Vengeance of the Shunned." There are some rules that occur as the adventures unwrap that will keep you on your toes. So far, a bane has been released that causes damage when spells are cast.
I'm looking for up to six 3rd level characters from the Basic Rules, or Scarred Lands. (Humans, Orcs, Elves, Dwarfs, and halves would make the most sense in the setting, but something else is fine as well.) Any class in the Basic Rules or Scarred Lands is preferred, but other sources are fine. I'll be looking at these to try to build a balanced party. If you are building a new character, add 150GP to your starting gold, and spend, or scrooge, as you see fit. For stats, please use the standard: 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8.
One post per day minimum. More is good. I'll be posting story pieces at least once a day.
This is a continuation, so preference will be given to those coming from A Mishap of Ill Portent.
Please post at least the following for your application:

Race / Class:
Optional character sheet link.

Awesome. I didn't look at your background info just in case you didn't want us to know, but do you normally get into the complications that can arise from having a patron?
(Turns out you can't look at the Description or Notes of other people's character sheets...lol)
Oh dang, man...a half-orc werewolf. Lol. That looks nuts. And, no spells.
Yeah, I've always wanted to play a werewolf and this is a pretty close to it. I just need to decide my fighting style when not wolfing out. Looks like we got a sword and board user so maybe I just go greataxe?
I haven't paid for it, but I do know today there's a race called Shifter that has the ability to change into an animal. I've been thinking about buying it for $2 to play that. A werecreatute does sound fun.

It's not the ability to change into an animal, it's more taking on animal aspects. There are several varieties. One gets claws while shifting, another temp hp, one extra movement speed. In the prior Eberron they often had the same stereotype as werewolves. I liked 3.5 version over this one but a good choice if you want claws.

I've never tried multi-classing before (in any game). That looks like it'll be an interesting combo.

My base paladin always has at least one level of warlock now. The synergies are just too good.
