In the middle of her cleaning when the guards aren't looking, she scratches the window with her claws, hoping it'll distract the guards, then goes back to cleaning, pretending she didn't do it.
The guards head comes in quickly, looking around to see who had made the scratching on the stone startling him. He gives up a moment later, but every few seconds pokes his head back on to see if he can spot who did it.
((You learn that she seems to want something from you, what it may be is anyones guess, but she deffinetly seemed like she may need you for something.))
A moment later however you hear Ilvara call out Hurry along now, you really dont want to keep me waiting, unless the others havent told you what happens to someone who earns my ire perhaps?
Fek will work. (Are we basically mucking out a stable?) I'll look about for something to conceal as a weapon. If I can't find anything I'll break a tine off the tool I'm using for a prison shiv.
((Looking around you are able to find what looks to be a bone fragment of some kind, that would be quite perfect for giving someone a shaking, concealing it well enough in the glorified potato sacks theyve given you for clothes))
(And yes, basically you guys are cleaning the stables where the drow keep the quaggoths)
I’ll whisper to her “perhaps another time, you know where to find me, yes?” Before turning and heading towards Ilvara “I’m sure many have trembled before you and I believe many more will quake at the tales of your ire, ma’am.”

Rhul studies the watchtower outside the pen as he works. How exposed is it? Is there a door, window, slot, etc.? Do the guards make patrols or just keep to the post?

Ilvara snaps the scourge in her hand once again, clearly as a show of intimidation, but looks almoat intrigued by your way with words. Id heard that you were quite the orator, which is precisely the reason you are here now. I'm going to muse over some scrolls, you are to polish my boots while recounting your lifes story. Theres a bit of a catch however, i wanf you to do so without using the word "the" understood? You may get started.
(I have cunning artisan, I can craft it into a tool if I have something sharp)
Kathru continues cleaning, she tidies the sofa, checking it for items.
Investigation: 8
((No sofa here, your with the others in the quaggoths den)) (while you dont find much amongst the straw in the way of something more useful, you do find a single copper piece)
Hymn is quick to take on the cleaning. She replaces the sullied hay and spreading the new across quite evenly. The tiefling's effort is commendable...
To see if Hymn notices anything that could help in the hay. Investigation: 11
(You search around quickly among the straw and hay and its not long before you find a single piece of copper wire. You could probably use it for pickibg a lock, or something else, up to you!)
Rhul studies the watchtower outside the pen as he works. How exposed is it? Is there a door, window, slot, etc.? Do the guards make patrols or just keep to the post?
Perception: 11
(Not ver exposed, it's more or less a formation of rocks that sort of looks like a watchtower, without the tower part. Its at ground level to you, just a good defensive position if from outside attack. The guards just seem pretty stationary so far, looking mostly forward, whike keeping an eye on you all as well. You do know there are units that do patrols however)
Percys gets the polish and begins his work “Gladly ma’am!” He begins to whistle for a moment as he begins before telling his stories. “I was born in a high mountain City, we natives, never really had a name for it. Just home. It was a glorious view; watching golden sunrise every morning reflecting off pillow top clouds. I was well into my adolescence when I learned there were more cities and people below us. Then, one day I awoke to darkness, no sun gleaming, not orange hue off the clouds. Just black.....”
during his stories Percys looks around the room in glances, looking for anything useful or noteworthy.

perception: 10
((You look about the room, and while not much catches your eye, you do see something that brings you a bit of comfort. The spell componemts bag you always keep on you is now laying among some silken garmets in a dark wood chest half opened near Ilvaras bed))
Upon hearing your story you suddenly receive a quick lash from her whip you take 3 slashing damage as it racks across your back. The word then contains the letters T. H. E. I swear you humans are brain dead! Now try again, lets see if you can do better this time. Youre friend there can begin cleaning. Guard give him our new tool.
Racket begins taking in his surroundings before he begins cleaning. "Every great tale has humble beginnings I suppose."
Perception - 8
(Looking around you dont see much in Ilvaras chambers, probably due to it being ungodly dark down here))
The guard approachs you and Stool, before grabbing the little myconid and tying his, what could be considered feet, to the long stick with a rag. Then he hands it to you and steps away, going back to the rope ladder and heading up. Ilvara then speaks again my chamber pot needs a cleaning. Lets see if my clever idea is any good! At least this way that ridiculous creature can be useful for something at least.
Bollum also tries to see if he can slip his hands out of the manacles. Dex? 8
((You know just enough to know that Menzoberranzan is about 28 days from here, heading north from velkenvelve, and the city of spiders is the last place anyone would want to be))
(You try to slip out of these iron manacles, but they are just too tight, you twist and pull until your arms are numb and sore. You can try again after a long rest!)
“My apologies Ma’am. Where shall I begin? Yes, I was entering a cave of sorts. Well it was more of a camp inside a cave. Filled with little gnomes of all colors and hair styles. Really friendly people who knew how to party. Anyways, this sacred relic goes missing. Beautiful blue gem encrusted into a diamond headdress. Guess who got accused of stealing it? Me of course. Wrong place wrong time I guess...”
He continues his story as he finishes polishing her shoes. “Ma’am, don’t you believe those fine silks would pair with your outfit perfectly? I can attempt to alter them for you if need be.”

Hymn looks around and attempts to open her manacles with them... Dexterity check: 8
The tiefling would then quietly hiss to get someone's attention or, if they're close enough, tap them with her tail. She will then display to them wire then hide it within her sleeve, and nodding to see if they're on board with the chance to freedom...
Racket glances at the myconid and shakes his head. "I am sorry friend." He glances at the chamber pot. "This will not do at all. I am afraid I need water, and soap. And a bucket." This creature will not do."

Can I do my portent thing and change the d20 to a 15 I rolled at the start?

Bollum is an old gnome, and well read. Does Bollum know anything about the layout of Drow cities to guess where we are in relation to anything else?
