We will be playing Dragon of Icespire Peak on this here website. Leave a link to your 1st level character (home brew and whatever is allowed) I'm looking for up to three players and it will be whenever I can get on to this computer at school.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ability scores: 101616111412
Name: Michael Dawn.
Race: Variant Human
Class: Artificer
Background: Custom Outlander
Background:
Michael has been traveling the woods around Neverwinter for some time now and has been alarmed by the number of orcs and monsters moving out of their customary places. he has traveled on to Phandalin to see what he can find out about this problem.
Michael is a ranger and protector of the wilds. He uses his magic and inventions to better protect those lands and to help guide people through them.
Yep, was just finishing it off with the above ability scores...
I also have an artificer built...The intention is for him to build towards battle smith at level 3. (Sorry for cribbing, but this is a sheet I already have built for another submission...but it seems like that one already has a lot of interest and I might not make it in.)
Backstory: C14-5H3R is an interesting specimen. It appears to have been built to perform guard duties. Based on the detail that it speaks fluent Gnomish, we have assumed that its creators was some heretofore unknown predecessor of the Gnome race.
Long after it was abandoned by its creators it began to take on a life of its own. We are not sure where its motivations come from, or if it is really alive, but it appears to have the potential to be a powerful ally on the battle field if its motivations can be predicted and guaranteed.
It appears to have an innate understanding of the machinations of magical devices, able to construct a small array of such devices from mundane parts. Many of these are unstable and release a single magical effect before becoming inert. It also appears to be able to cause an electrical or sonic discharge seemingly at will. Further study will be required to determine what the full potential of these abilities will be.
During C14's time with the team I have observed it act with loyalty, honor, and friendship. I do not believe it is capable of emotions the way we understand them, but it does appear to have an idea of social constructs and the benefit of maintaining them. It is not uncommon for the unit to place its own well being or even continued existence in danger to prevent injury to another member of the team.

krull as people can describe him he is a tower of man.big and muscular at size.he gets angry quite easily but for those he considers friends and allies he always has a softer side.he is a wanderer ,womanizer and he likes ale..quite typical for a barbarian actually .in his tribe he is considered a great warrior and many believe he can do more.with the blessings of his tribe he was sented to wander the lands of icewind dale and come back stronger and perhaps wiser
Name: V'rekh Race: Tortle Background: Outlander Class: Sorcerer (Storm Sorcery) Backstory: V'rekh used to live on his own near the water pond. He was most happy when the wind was blowing and the rain falling on his shell. Lately he has started feeling the magic rise inside him and the urge to see the world. One day when the storm was raging and the full moon was barely visible between the clouds he decided to gather his posessions and started walking looking for adventure.
No link to the character sheet, because I don't have the tortle race yet, but I would buy it to play the game if I'm in.

Yer in. Not only because love Tortles. Maybe because I love Tortles. But that has no relevance right now.
Since you have changed the tag to closed you will likely not get any additional applications at this point...so that was a good first step.
I see you are new to DnD Beyond...You might already know this from reading the FAQ...but let me give a few quick pointers of how games normally get off the ground.
Create a Campaign Page
Go to the "My Creations" drop down at the top and click on My Campaigns. Then when that page loads click Create a Campaign. This is how DnD Beyond allows content to be shared between the group and also gives us all easy access to each other's character sheets.
Create an OOC PM
This is not strictly required, but a lot of GMs find it helpful. If you go to the messaging functionality on the site (the speech bubbles at the top of the banner) you can send a group PM to all the players you have selected. This will let you communicate stuff to us and allow us to discuss with each other where it is not directly visible on the forum. Generally the first thing sent in this OOC PM is the invite link to the Campaign Page so we can attach our characters to it.
Create an IC Game Thread with the Initial Post
Again, this is not strictly required. Several GMs just use their recruiting thread as the game thread. I personally like to separate the two in case recruitment needs to be reopened in the future. Plus it helps establish that the game thread should be IC only, or at least IC mostly. GMs that decide to create an IC game thread normally send a link to that in the OOC group PM as well.
I think that is it. DragonDenn, Seldim (I ask these two since I play with them in other games) is there any thing else I am not thinking of RE getting a game started?

Yer in too, your guy has awesome backstory and I really want to see him in action.
That was for @Bounces btw
How do I remove people from this forum?
Yer in, I feel we need some human-looking characters
Nice! Should I roll for stats, use the standard array of point buy?
Anyone you want, I don't really mind.
Do you know how?

Sorted, the next thing will be a PbP thread.
I think that's all we need.
It's all done, everybody do what they need to do.
In that case I'm rolling for stats, it makes the game more exciting to me.
