Marion looks Flame in the eyes, grateful to not have the opportunity to look down. "What else are we gonna do. It's going down or sit in the field. Might as well get this over with."
Torment follows the others down the rope as well, making sure to give them room and time so as not to crowd them, or put too much strain on the rope. "And here we go down another hole in the ground. I'm sure that's how all great adventures start," she says, mostly to herself.
I believe it's been long enough. Shadow heads down first, and is eventually followed by the rest of the party as you all find yourself in a new area. Now... here's for the part that I've been advertising in the title. We're going to have a Roll20 page! However, in order to do this I do need tokens. So can you all please find some kind of picture that represents your character and send it to me via PM? In other news, here's the description for those of you with darkvision (or Marion when she gets a light source of some kind):
A sandy ledge overlooks a subterranean gulf of darkness to the west. The ledge is wide but rough. Sand, rocky debris, and the bones of small animals cover it. A rough-hewn stairwell zigs and zags down the side of the ledge, descending into darkness. The far wall of the chasm dissapears into darkness, while the bottom of this subtarranean vault also vanishes beyond your range of sight. However, as Shadow's feet touch the solid sandy ledge he's too focussed on taunting his brother as from the dusky bottom of the ledge he doesn't notice three dog-sized shapes come up from behind and attack him! He wheels around and sees the barred fangs of four giant rats!
We will now have our first combat on Roll20. Please send me those images!

(23 to hit, 4 damage; 22 to hit, 4 damage; critical hit, 8 damage). As the body comes down to the ground they then begin leaping up. Trying to get more fresh meat!

It is now the Giant Rat's turn! The rats continue leaping up, but they're not strong enough to reach Marion as they simply snap the air right under her.
Elemoth's eyes widen as he sees Shadow go down. He quickly climbs down to where Marion is, and then simply jumps off the rope and tries to land as gracefully as he can close to where Shadow is and then moves over to touch him, chanting a healing spell under his breath on the way over. "You're not going to die today." he whispers harshly, keeping his shield up with his left hand while he reaches out with a now glowing right hand to touch Shadow.
Torment, seeing the ruckus below, quickly follows Elemoth down the rope and tries to distract one of the rats while he heals Shadow, using her rapier to stab at it.
Attack Action: 18 Piercing Damage: 3 (OOC Well, at least I hit it...)
Wanting to provide some encouragement to Shadow, she also offers some inspiring words. "Shadow, get up! Don't lay down like that. We have to kill this giant rat!"(OOC d6 Bardic Inspiration die to Shadow, bonus action)

Flame's eyes widen as he looks down to see his brother swarmed by huge rats. "Shadow!" He slides down the rope and swings his quarterstaff at one rat while kicking at another, desperately trying to get the rats away from Shadow.

Nice! I had been sticking with the d8 to sort of self balance because I wasn't sure on that, but if it's fair game I'm totally going to take advantage of that!
Shadow's eyes shoot open as his body is filled with radiant energy. The soothing words of Torment, seems to fill him with energy. He springs to his feet, while brandishing his weapons. He swings at the first rat he sees. His eyes are filled with hatred, and determination.

Current Status of Enemies: Giant Rat 1: Dead Giant Rat 2: Dead Giant Rat 3: On the ground, uninjured, unconscious (attacks against the rat are made at advantage, and if they're within 5 ft. they're critical hits, auto-fails STR & DEX saves, prone [only movement option is to crawl, unless it stands up and thereby ends the condition, disadvantage on all attack rolls, advantage if the attacker is within 5 ft. otherwise disadvantage], incapacitated [can't take actions or reactions], can't move or speak, and is unaware of surroundings) Giant Rat 4: On the ground, uninjured, unconscious (attacks against the rat are made at advantage, and if they're within 5 ft. they're critical hits, auto-fails STR & DEX saves, prone [only movement option is to crawl, unless it stands up and thereby ends the condition, disadvantage on all attack rolls, advantage if the attacker is within 5 ft. otherwise disadvantage], incapacitated [can't take actions or reactions], can't move or speak, and is unaware of surroundings)

Elemoth breathes a sigh of relief as Shadow gets back to his feet. "I'm glad you're still with us." he says quickly, nodding to the Tabaxi as he fumbles slightly to unstrap and hold his mace. Without further ado, he approaches the third rat and swings down hard towards its head.
(11 to hit, 9 damage)
The half-elf winces slightly as his blow (most likely) connects, and recoils slightly at any splatters of gore. He keeps his shield up near his face to try and protect it from any showers of blood, fur, and bone that his teammates are likely creating. "And to think that I used to do this before I started adventuring... some things never change." he mumbles to himself.
The last rat collapses to the floor... dead. As you all once again take in the sandy ledge upon which you're standing. It seems to overlook a subterranean gulf of darkness to the west. The ledge is wide but rough. Sand, rocky debris, and the bones of small animals cover it. A roughhewn stairwell zigs and zags down the side of the ledge, descending into darkness for all of you.
Just waiting 24 hours to see if anyone else has anything they want to do or if everyone is ready to just head down.

Flame sighs in resignation and crouches down to talk to Marion. "Maybe we should just send one person down to scout it out, first?"
