After running up to the group of kobolds (and 2 humans), dark tendrils erupt from Rex and assault all within 10 feet of him. 3 kobolds die immediately, and the fourth kobold looks very battered. Similarly, both humans, while still standing, look to be significantly injured.
Monk-E, making mental note of the awesomeness he just witnessed from Rex, rushes to lay into the nearest human with a swift swing of his shortsword, across the human's body - down and to the right. (Attack: 8 Damage: 11). While examining the results, Monk-E either front kicks the same human in the sternum or side kicks the second human (if in proximity) (Attack: 15 Damage: 7.
OOC: Going to go ahead and post as I have to head into work soon.
Fjordix was impressed with Rex's magic, though he wondered how long he could continue casting it before needing to rest. Fjordix shook his head to clear the thought and took hold of his Glaive with a tight grip. He rushed past everyone to get to Kobold 1 and brought down a strike with tremendous force.
Attack: 11 for 8 slashing damage (If I crit extra damage will be: 1 slashing)
Bonus Action: If I crit or fell the Kobold I will strike again at the nearest target (within 10ft), Attack: 8 for 10 slashing damage
Edit: Or I could just miss with all my attacks...*sigh* haha
Monk-E's sword swing is a little too short to reach the man in robes, but the kick that follows hits with a resounding crack as the man crumples to the ground.
Fjordix comes in, leading with his glaive, and the kobold just barely ducks under his swing.
Rex reels a bit from the slash across his chest and growls. Pulling out his mace, Rex swings it at the human's head, "OUTTA THE WAY!" ((7 for 6 bludgeoning damage))
((OH COME ON! Also, not sure I can add inspiration to damage yet Nydella, dont you need to be level 3?))
{Sorry guys this is my first 5e bard, it's a learning curve} Nydella uses her crossbow and aims at the nearest foe in range (knowing where stuff is, is pretty hard too) attack 11 damage 2 cast inspiration as my bonus action on Valharri then!
Nydella casts inspiration on by singing
"History repeats itself
Try and you'll succeed
Never doubt that you're the one
And you can have your dream
You're the best around
Nothing is gonna ever keep you down"
Rex and Nydella both miss their respective opponents.
[I agree. Knowing how things are set up and where everything is located is more difficult in theater of the mind style play. If there's ever any confusion, I'm open to reasonable retconning.]
The kobold, having seen all of the others fall in one attack, cowers before the mighty dragonborn. "Teach me of Io, great one!"
Linan comes up and thrusts her spear at the kobold. [Attack: 21 Damage: 4] "Here's your precious Io!"
Valharri approaches the cloaked figure cautiously but weapons up to strike incase the person makes any sudden moves. "I'll tell you now that I am merciful, and I want you to answer a few of my questions." She walks until she is a comfortable distance away. "After that brutal display of strength by our dragonborn companion, I think it would be wise to answer truthfully. Who are you and these dark hooded figures? Why are you working with the Kobold and destroying Greenest in the wake of the dragon? Be quick." She demands.
[I rolled a 0 last time, I feel like that might win xD]

[Sorry for the broken up posting. Had to take the kid to daycare.]
The remaining human, still reeling from Rex's attack, gathers himself and attacks Rex with his sword.
[Attack: 19 Damage: 4]
Rex, it's your turn, but you do not have an inspiration die (yet).
Nydella, you might want to prepare something different for your turn after Rex goes.

"Oh that's a shame... I kinda liked that one!" Rex shouts over to Linan
