The party makes it halfway through the cavern, and so far they all shrug off the effects of the poisonous gas.
Need a Con Save from Rosie and one with advantage from Nyx for her use of the wet mask.
OOC:
Baeshra, with the Lizardfolk "Hold Breath" feature can make it without the Con Save. RAW, it seems like everyone could, too with the hold breath rules. But where is the fun in that? We'll say that the exertion of slogging through the fungi forces the others to take a breath, requiring the Con Save.
You notice the walls of the building are battered and blackened, and the double doors are cracked and scorched. In the distance you see an escarpment, into which a flight of stairs has been cut. You also see some sort of minerals in the ceiling. With a light source you bet that they would sparkle!
Lyngheid moved forward and peeked around the corner to her left.

More of the same. A couple more long dead skeletons crushed underneath debris that looks like a partial cave-in. A large stone support pillar rises to the ceiling in the center of the cave.
Rosie takes 9 poison damage (already applied) and is Poisoned for the next 10 minutes.
Otherwise, everyone makes it to the other side and up to Lyngheid at the head of the tunnel.
Venturing a little further in, you can make out the stairs in the escarpment in front of you. The light brought by the rest of the party does indeed make the crystals in the ceiling shine like stars.
You try, but the doors are cracked, and their iron hinges partially melted. To force them open, try a Strength check. With advantage if someone is helping (which we can assume, someone does).
Whistler's large biceps flex mightily and the doors burst open with a creak and a groan!
Inside, dust, ash, walls blackened by fire, and heaps of debris beneath the sagging ceiling show that this room was damaged by a destructive blast. The furnishings—tables, chairs, bookshelves, beds—are charred or splintered, but otherwise well preserved. A scorched iron chest stands near the foot of one of the beds.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Umbriel looks around, trying to get a feel for how long ago the blast happened. Seeing the iron chest, he'll whisper over to Nyx. "I think this calls for your specialty - but be careful, perhaps there's a trap that triggered a blaze somewhere on that chest."
Investigation for looking around, sniffing the air, that sort of thing: 15

Ireniana will continue to follow Lyngheid.
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Lyngheid signalled her and pointed to the doors of the building.
Nyx charges ahead, running as fast as she can and then leaping at the end.
OCC:
Using Mirthful Leap to travel an additional 8 feet beyond her movement.

Rosie Con Save: 7
Rosie takes 9 poison damage (already applied) and is Poisoned for the next 10 minutes.
Otherwise, everyone makes it to the other side and up to Lyngheid at the head of the tunnel.

(What’s that on the wall two squares up and one right from Umbriel?)
A set of double doors.
Baeshra will quietly move next to them and listen.

You hear nothing. Silence. Except for everyone else's breathing.
Baeshra will gently ease the door open.
You try, but the doors are cracked, and their iron hinges partially melted. To force them open, try a Strength check. With advantage if someone is helping (which we can assume, someone does).
Baeshra will beckon Whistler over and help him push the doors open.
Very well! Whistler, Strength check, with advantage() please!
While they are occupied with the door, Nyx moves to the top of the wall and peers around the corner to the west.
