Baeshra roars a word in draconic to heal Droop, then calls down to the giants, again in draconic, "Come and face the mighty Klauth, foolish dwellers in earth! Come and meet the true ruler of air and fire!"
The giant's seem to pay no heed to Baeshra's threat as the party makes it into the room with the mining tunnels. One manages to toss a final glob of molten steel at Lyngheid as she is just outside the doorway: 17
But it splashes through the catwalk, heating up her boots and doing no damage.
You've made it to the room, the giants are rushing towards the stairs, and you aren't sure of the status of Duke Zalto who was supposedly coming through by way of the slave pens. What do you do now? Into the tunnels? Set the supplies on fire? Any way of blocking off the tunnels?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Looks like you rolled the intimidation straight, so here's the optimistic advantage you called for. Probably should have just taught Umbriel or Nyx the words... 6)
Baeshra tosses a quick handful of fire at the supplies as he rushes past, hurrying onward back the way they'd come.
OK, the supply crates catch fire and it starts to spread. The rest of the party makes it into the mine tunnels.
What's the plan? Are you trying to retrace your route and get to the surface as fast as possible? Wander around the mine tunnels and try to hide from pursuit? Something else?
Alright, Nyx is going to try and dash ahead and the party begins to race up the tunnels.
This will be a multi-round skill challenge to get out of the mines ahead of the giants.
The light from the fires that Nyx and Baeshra lit begins to fade as you climb up the tunnels. It's dark, and uneven terrain.
Nyx, as you start to pull ahead of the group, make a Survival check to backtrack the way you came in, or a straight Intelligence check to see how well you remember the way out.
Someone from the rest of the group, do the same thing.
Anyone else who wants to help speed the party up, or has some ideas of how to slow any pursuers, explain what you are doing and make the roll.
(Using Her knowledge as a Dwarf along with advice from the other dwarves to pinpoint drop points where they can weaken or destroy the support struts behind them as they move.)

Umbriel Con save: 8
When the moment presents itself, Umbriel will convert his last spell slot into a sorcery point. He'll then use his Eyes of the Dark feature and cast Darkness on a point along the group's escape route where it will benefit us by either concealing our route or hiding something detrimental to the fire giant's pursuit (obstacles, traps, narrow ledges, etc).

Make an Intimidation Check at advantage.

Lyngheid raised a finger in the giants direction as she headed through the doorway.
" Do the mine tunnels get any narrower? Are there any points in there that the giants would be forced to go single-file?"
From what you remember, the tunnels are all plenty wide for the giants to go at least double-wide.
Nyx helps out Baeshra by adding oil to the fires.

Umbriel concentrates on helping the prisoners escape, but he keeps an eye on Droop, ready to Spare the Dying if he drops again.

Lyngheid is hoping to get the prisoners to the surface.....and aboard the airship....before the giants catch up....everything else is a crap shoot.
Agreed, maybe send Nyx ahead to call it down and have it waiting for us.
Sure, Nyx will double time it up as fast as she can, with a lite torch. Move, dash, bonus action dash.

Baeshra lights a torch and throws it down one of the side passages, hoping to potentially draw off some pursuit.
