Oh wow, circling high up above the river ravine, you are able to easily spot the giants back at the dam.  You can make out Duke Zalto, he seems to be barking orders to a handful of other giants that are pulling the dam apart.  You also see a pair of fire giants on each side of the ravine, standing about 50 feet back from the dam and keeping watch on the cliffs above for potential attacks.

How many total and are any up on the cliff?

 Nothing up on the cliff.  Two fire giants, 6 ogres, a dozen hobgoblins, and the Duke.

Umbriel notes it too, and looks off in the direction Baeshra flew. "Do you think we have time to locate this object before the Duke returns? And without Baeshra? I can't send a message that far."

Lyngheid grimaced, " How many are still in there?"

" If your going in it should be folks who are fast and quiet.  I'm neither.  But I can probably hold em up for a bit to give you more time."

"I think if we do this we do it together. A small group of us will not survive if they have to face the Duke."

Lyngheid bit her lip, " But the Duke is out here."

" Last thing we want is getting trapped in there if he returns."

" I'm a liability if you want to get in and out before he comes back."

As Baeshra watches the giants, how much longer does it look like it will take them?

After watching their progress for a few minutes, you estimate it will take them another hour or two to fully dismantle the dam.

Baeshra circles back to rejoin the others to let them know what's happening.

 What's the plan?

Umbriel takes stock of his magical reserves. "Nyx, do you think you can get down there and back safely on your own? I don't like the idea of splitting up, but if the Duke comes back here, we can kite him a bit and keep him occupied while you recover his conch. If we all go, we need to go now, and identify places along the way we can bottleneck any attackers if it should come to that. I can keep determining where magical items might be, which would make the search faster if we're close enough to it.  I'm not sure, what do you all think? Droop? How are you feeling?"
