Back and ready to DM and chew bubblegum. And I'm alllll outta bubblegum.
Backstory: Urukar was born the youngest son of a chief of a powerful orc tribe from the Spine of the World, with a human mother taken as a concubine in a raid. While a half-orc raised further south might have his demeanour tempered by interactions with different races and mindsets, Urukar knew only beatings, hunting, fighting and martial training. His most notable physical attribute is the grey hair he has had all his life - a sure sign of his human weakness, as he was told often by fellow tribesmen that gave him the nickname of 'Old Urukar' to mock his inexperience and heritage.
Close to the time he would become an adult, his father died leading a raid against a neighbouring tribe. Over the course of an evening, his three older half-brothers, all pure orcs, began fighting each other and their backers to take on the mantle of chief. Being the youngest, with no support, Urukar's choices were to die or flee. Grabbing his greataxe, he chooses the latter, making his way south to safety. Travelling to Luskan, then along the coast, he joined for a while with bandits, disagreements over pay leading to a few of the bandits becoming a foot shorter, and Urukar continuing south to seek his fortune somewhere else, like Waterdeep.
Backstory: Anyll's earliest memories were in a rough orphanage and running away as soon as he got the chance with only the stained clothes on his back and loose bangle which he always known to have. Desperation made him nimble, but also begin to regret. A few years later, one particular foul beating left him crying tears that had long ran out, he went to touch a messy wound to feel warmth surge from within and heal the wound. With his power discovered, he was determined to be a helping hand to the other poor and downtrodden.
Securing make-shift shelter and gaining trust of others, he lead a small band to steal and swindle pooling their cheap wins to share with others so those around him had a fighting chance. A betrayal from within left the band suddenly penniless and stores empty. A blow was dealt, but not defeated, Anyll promised the others he has found an opportunity, and he'll return with more food, more beds, more gold than they could ever imagine...

In that case, I have amended my application with a race that doesn't break the game but still benefits from the high rolls. I just couldn't bring myself to play a level one character that had a maxed modifier. After all, he is only level one.
Gonna throw a hat in anyways; always wanted to do Dragon Heist + Mad Mage. Ability scores: 111517131713
Name: Nailah
Race: Yuan-Ti Pureblood
Class: Warlock (Noble Genie, UA)
Backstory: Born in the distant desert lands of Calimshan to a cult of sand-dwelling yuan-ti, Nailah was trained from birth to blend in with the warm bloods. She spent years enchanting and enthralling pashas and paupers all for the purpose of furthering her cult’s machinations. This all changed when a group of adventurers wiped out he cult in its entirety while she was on a more clandestine mission within Calimport.
One day, directionless and trying to get by, she wound up intermingling with a wealthy trader and during the course of their communion, she encountered a strange hollow statuette in his possession. She wasn’t sure what drew her to it, but upon touching it and removing its lid, found herself transported to a pocket dimension where she stood before an otherworldly efreet by the name of Lord Dal’zeer. She tried fruitlessly to find a way out of the genie’s lair until she spotted a dragon chess set among his belongings. She challenged him to a game and called him out for cheating while also cheating herself! He was so amused that he not only allowed her to leave but gave her a tether to his realm to expand his influence throughout the lands.
With little to lose and everything to gain, Nailah accepted and has come to the north to do just that. She keeps her serpentine features hidden by a traditional Calishite veil and uses her magic to dissuade those who investigate further.
Wheeze - Air Genasi - Guild Artisan (tinkerer or traveling?) - Rogue
Wheeze enjoys traveling, and taking care of those smaller needs of common folk. And if he occasionally engaged in a bit of vigilante work after dark, well that’s just what anyone would do to keep occupied. Lately though, it’s like he can’t get enough. So it’s time to see what sort of trouble he can get into
Backstory: Roaming from city to city and doing dirty work was the only option for Zef after his tribe unceremoniously exiled him for accidentally piercing the wing of the tribe leader’s son in a sparring match. He took up every job that suited his skill and that didn’t. Every bit of coin he could earn, he took. And as time passed he got better, eh took some tips from weathered mercenaries, and even got a taste for bounty hunting. Alas, time is a flat circle, and a group of mercenaries that held the most power in the city he was located in decided to judge Zef for stealing their contracts and not returning debt, neither of which actually happened. Their judgement, however, was cut short upon their discovery of an empty room, where Zef was once staying. He was already on his way to a bigger city to test his luck again, ever hopeful that some time Lady Luck must smile upon him. After a while he arrived to Waterdeep, where things started to get just slightly better to convince him to stay.
As a note, if this is going to be a fast paced campaign, I probably would not be able to keep up with it, so a post a in a day or two is what I usually do, or a 2-3 short posts in a day.
Edit: if aarackokra is problematic I’m also happy to play an eladrin
Far from his ancestral home, Auric is a travelling knight who wanted to be a fearsome draconic warrior since he was a small lizardling. The third hatched of the third son of the third king, the scion of Invictus was given a powerful name by the priests and trained in the art of war. Yet, even as he trained hard, the young dragonborn showed a startling lack of coordination to balance his strength of personality. After one too many stumbles in noble company that even his charm was unable to cover up, Auric was sent off to gain in wisdom and experience as an itinerant knight. Hoping that someday he can return as a powerful warrior and reclaim his birthright , Auric is off in the world, looking for heroic deeds to accomplish to show the power and glory of the dragonborn people to the common folk of the realms.
Once again, thank you everyone for the submissions. It was very difficult to narrow down, and some of you will be getting an invite to another campaign starting soon. I'll be closing recruiting now and pming those that were accepted.

No matter the stats, the dice rolls seem to straighten everything out... and if one is exceptionally unlucky or whatever, just more angles to RP.
We're doing one small murder-y thing for a bigger, better reason. The ends justify the means.
