Balor Rol'tzar, a human, is an out and out thief, he would steal from his grandmother, if she were alive. He lives for the 'game' as it were. Always plotting to lift something and if he figures he can get the edge on anyone...well folks have been known to lose things. Some folks think he is obnoxious, some are right, but he thinks he is just really good at finding what had belonged to him all along, a fact that those who had what was his didn't understand very well; such was their loss...

Character Name: Balasar Silverstone
Race: Ravenite Dragonborn (Silver)
Class: Fighter
Interested Backstory: Interested in doing something based around a young dragonborn working to pursue the footsteps of a famous hero he once heard about. Learning that life isn't just black and white like he thinks.
LG Human Fighter: A servitor of the Dwendalian Empire whose mother had been a powerful adventurer who went on many expeditions to Eiselcross. On one such expedition, she never returned, and now this character is dead-set on following the same path as their mother. They continue to cling to a naive and desperate hope that their mother still lives, and they are willing to do anything to find her. Even if they have to risk life and limb exploring all eight of the deadly islands.
LN High Elf Wizard (Bladesinger): A deceptively aloof and graceful elf whose movements and mannerisms were shaped by their dedication to mastering the art of bladesinging. Having recently entered adulthood, they are at once wounded by the end of exploring memories from past lives and eager to finally leave a mark on the world around them. They are particularly eager to explore the woods of Savalirwood, curious about elven history and touched by the tragedy that marks the elven tale.
CG Human Wizard (Graviturgy): An incredibly bubbly, carefree, and optimistic student of magic who rose to prominence after years of intense study. I want this idea to have the most amount of flexibility for the Heroic Chronicles backstory generation. Maybe their cheerful smile hides a tragic event that they were secretly scarred by. Maybe their naivety is pure, or it could be a veneer for a more cunning and calculating side of them that was hardened by the cutthroat environment that they were in while trying to rise above competition.
CN Tiefling Bard (College of Whispers): A former slave who has become ambitious after several years spent with nothing. They like to enjoy the fine things in life and want nothing more than to indulge in their pleasures. They appear to be selfish, whimsical, and filled with avarice, but their surprising willingness to work hard belies a genuine desire to reach greatness. Underneath the lies, cheating, petulant rage, and unjustified arrogance, they are quite empathetic and have everyone's best interests in mind, and although it may come as a surprise, they do indeed have a limitation on how far they are willing to drag other people down to lift themselves up.
I also have ideas for a vengeful Blood Hunter, a shy and ditzy commoner who unexpectedly entered some sort of warlock's pact, and a no-nonsense ranger/rogue from a poor family in Shadycreek Run, but I don't want to keep on rambling and I don't know how vague some backstories need to be to work with Heroic Chronicles. Overall, I've never watched Critical Role but I'm hooked to Wildemount and breezed through the book. I have so many concepts I'm excited to specifically use in Exandria and I'd be really excited to use one here.
Edit: I put some details for the backstory concept but I don't intend to use them if they contradict Heroic Chronicles roll results. Everything is flexible, as long as it generally works for the character. Hopefully that's okay.

A Ravenite Dragonborn named Xorrashtar living in Marrow Valley in Talonstadt. Xor volunteers on the guard of Talonstadt and holds a deep resentment for draconbloods. Xor does work for the Cerberus Assembly when they have work that suits him to keep his family fed.
probably will either go with fighter or barbarian - considering a war cleric as well.
i know you're probably all filled up at this point but lmk if you need another body. Also just willing to fit in a missing role if the current party is lacking something.

I don’t know if you decided on who you want yet, but I got a character plan. I wrote it in about 5 minutes so it’s not too detailed, but I can definitely improve it.
It’s a Firbolg Druid (soon to be Circle of the Shepherd) named Ramath. He lives in isolation in the Cyrengreen Forest with the sole purpose of taking care of the plants and animals there. One day, a horrible accident befell the forest, prompting Ramath to venture out. He went out to look for whoever or whatever was behind the tragedy so that it could feel the wrath of nature.
