Charisma fumbles through her pockets and finds her badge in the inside left pocket of her vest, of course the last place she looks. She is about to present it whenshe sees the halfling already reaching for keys. She smiles at the others hoping they hadn't picked up her awkward moment. "Don't you just hate it when you put something somewhere safe and then you can't remember where that someplace safe was?"
"Indeed, but at the very least it's safe" replies Edith with a laugh. she carefully puts three gold behind the counter for the hafling to find later as he looks for the keys.
(I don't know if it's stealth or sleight of hand so i'll roll both)
Edith, you are sure the Inn-keep notices you put down the coins but he pretends not to. Straightening up with the lock box he opens it up, grabs three keys with number tags on them and puts them down on the counter. "Each room has 2 beds so I hope you don't mind sharing. They open the gate to the forest at 6am and if you're downstairs by then you'll find warm bread and butter and a pitcher of cider on the table down here."
Smiling at Edith he says "Tips are always appreciated."
He gestures to the stairs. "Rooms are right up the stairs there. You'rs will be on the right"
The rooms are very stark but each does have a small window. The only other things they contain are the 2 beds, 1 chair and several hooks along the wall.
Charisma ventures into the room across the hall from Bogue and immediately opens the small cobwebbed window . Dust coats a lazy spider as it scurries up its hanging strand and across the ceiling.
"Perhaps if we leave our doors open we can get a crossbreeze between the rooms, " she shouts across the hall to Bogue. "I don't think I'll be able to sleep well in this stagnant air"
She leans onto the bed, another cloud of dust lifts then settles back on the thin quilt that barely covers the mattress. "With this much dirt, we might as well be sleeping outside, " she chuckles.
She unpacks her things and positions herself looking up through the window at the stars wondering what new prospects the next day will hold.
Blindly following the group upstairs, he mindlessly walks into Mystwaens room. When he realizes he is about to share a room with a lady he collects his thoughts (and belongings). Blushing a little he says hurriedly "Sorry Myst, I..I...Wil, where are you?" With that he exits the room and enters the same room as Wil. "Hope you don't mind." The question was rhetorical, as he had already made himself comfortable on the vacant bed. Snoring came moments later.
Edith follows charisma up to the room and sits on the bed leaving a puff of dust. She pulls her legs up to sit criss-cross and starts sorting through her stuff. After while she lies back on the bed to stare at the ceiling, eventually drifting off.
Wil by the time will looks up from tediously arranging his belongings, the snoring has commenced. "Nice to meet you too" he says mostly to himself. He then jumps into his bed and also falls asleep, with his daggers under his pillow.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

With only the three rooms someone would have had to switch rooms or sleep in a chair, or on the floor but it's not important as the night goes by uneventfully and you all rise with sun a little before 6 am. Everyone gathers their things and heads downstairs for their continental breakfast to find no other guests around the table. The frazzled halfling of last night has bee replaced by a young halfling girl with flour smudges on her face and apron. She greats you all with a big smile and obvious excitement. "Good morning! You guys are the brute squad right? You're going to clean out the forest? Do you think you'll have to.. well, you know.." she lowers her voice "kill anyone?"
Charisma eyes the meager breakfast spread with a ravenous hunger. Her adrenaline at the hintof a bar brawl yesterday kept her from grabbing a bite to eat at the tavern and she is famished. She grabs a plate and heaps a spoonful of fresh fruit and large gooseberry muffin onto hit. She smiles at the young halfling girl. She responds spewing some crumbs under her plate as she speaks, " I certainly hope not, life should only be taken as an ultimate resort when the threat of further devastation is imminent. "
“I agree with Charisma” said Edith grabbing a muffin before sitting down. “Taking a life is not something to take lightly.” She starts eating her muffin top first, then starts eating it normally.
"But the threats in the Thieves Forest should not be taken lightly either, " Mystwaen adds, grabbing some food. "There will be many times when killing someone will be our only choice."

Bogue lights a pipe with the same spell from before and chuckles. "I forget where things are even when they're in my hands. You're fine."

Charisma leans over to Edith, "That was very nice of you to give some coins to the innkeeper. Would you like to share a room? "
Bogue moves to a random room and opens the window if there is one, if there aren't windows he will sleep outside.

Mystwaen silently enters an empty room, putting her pack down on one of the beds.
(We got all of our weapons back as we left the tavern, right?)

Wil heads to his room, interested to see who his roommate is...
she smiles at the halfings comment and turns a shade redder. “Yeah, sure! and it was nothing” she replies to charisma.
